The respect offered up by the KES group was impressive to the Hutt, and he showed his approval with the usual nod. Remaining on his throne from the time being, Nor'baal did not motion for the KES to stand, instead inviting them to make their pitch. <What terms are these?> he said directly, switching into business mode instead of the usual Audience giving mode, his demeanor hardening as befitting the occasion. He was prepared to make some allowances, naturally, depending on what the would be before drawing up the final treaty.

He stayed still, not touching his pipe or food, the Guards snorting to themselves as the eyes the KES with their piggish gaze.

Vestar looked up to the Hutt, his face showing humility. "The few requests we have we hope are but small matters to you... Firstly we would like to retain our own identity. Instead of absorbing our forces into your entity for the gracious two-hundred years of our servitude, we would rather remain a company, but instead transfer ownership of all stocks to you. Our board of directors, and our commanders and admirals would report to you directly Lord Nor'baal." He continued "We would like to operate a research and development team to create new and innovative designs for your lordship to use to give you honor and superiority in the battle field. We request that our designs be of our own designs and that we have independance on what we design, as long as it brings glory upon you Lord Nor'baal. We need fresh recruits to man our ships and operate our militaries. In the past our shipyards sold many of our Siren-Class Frigates to the Cartel. If it pleases your excellency we would like to reacquire those and retrofit them with more energy weapons and such in order to better defend your honor during warfare. We lost a majority of our fleet during the battle of Sirius Primaris, and in order to rebuild it we would also like to purchase six Haranov-Class Gunships, three Audacity-Class Escort Carriers. We will also need crews for those as well if your excellency sees fit. We have the means to fund everything except the Sirens."

Trane paused for a moment, "In order to continue our engineering business we would request that your highness enables us to build a new shipyard and manufacturing facility and lend us your generous assets in order to operate it. In return you deserve a percentage of our sales, the percentage for yours to decide, your excellency."

Prudii nodded "Thank you your excellency. Your generosity is beyond measure."

Eyes narrowing with displeasure, Nor'baal growled slightly, but just loud enough to be heard. His anger was quite apparent, even the Guards in the room looked nervous, but kept their attention on the KES personnel. Nor'baal Vesajilic spoke, disappointment in his voice.

<100%. That is what I require of my property. I have offered you your lives, I have offered to save you and your people, and yet you throw these demands back in my face. I feel you do not understand how this works my friend. You may remain a company, with 100% of the company belonging to me, all your directors, commanders and admirals will report to me. Your research team may operate as usual, naturally, with independence. Your recruits will be my recruits, and I shall allow you to find more. As for your old vessels, and your request for new ones, this I will grant you, if I feel the need for it.> the Hutt paused to address the next issue, that of a manufacturing facility and funding.

He visably took a deep breath before speaking in a low tone <Your funding will stem from me, as and when I chose to supply you with it. Your manufacturing facility will be provided by me, only if I will it. As for your offer of a sales percentage, I laugh at your sheer gall. I offer you freedom, I offer to pluck you from the maw of the beast, in return for your indentured servitude, and you think you can simple palm me off with part of your sales? All of your sales, your people, your assets, belong to me for the specified period of time. You owe me a life debt, and I will see it repaid.>

Settling back into his recliner, the Hutt glowered at the kneeling individuals, who clearly failed to understand the meaning of 'Indentured Servitude'. <I will however be lenient. Accept my terms, as I have said them, and you will receive housing, medical care, food and education and training - as well as the equipment I provide. I will pay a salary to the senior members of the KES, yourself included, and you will have finer quarters than the rest. If you refuse my terms, I will terminate our arrangement, and my offer will not be repeated.>

Vestar bowed his head once more "Your Excellency my deepest apologies. Of course one hundred percent goes to you. It was a blunder on my part your Excellency. We are at your mercy and your Grace. All that you give us is but a blessing and beyond our deserving. We accept these conditions whole heartedly. The final thing for which we ask in hopes it pleases you, is that you enable us to seek revenge for those who took everything from us, should it please you. "

Pleased once more that the usual deference and respect had returned, Nor'baal smiled, before speaking once more:

<Excellent, let us hope no more of such blunders occur in future. I am pleased that you accept these conditions, my droid will hand you a Datapad to sign your confirmation and approve the treaty.> he said as the droid approached with the pad <As for this revenge, you would be doing so under the name of Vesajilic, so please - whom is it you seek revenge on?>

The Hutt sat back in his recliner, awaiting a reply.

At this, Ryan finally raised his head, his eyes filled with indifferent anger.

"Ral Aran and his clan, your lordship... We want our home back, if it would please you..."

Vestar gladly took the datapad and signed before he looked up "And Roann the Chiss. If your Lordship pleases I can show you holograph evidence of the coward executing our peaceful diplomats in cold blood."

He was not surprised by the mans reply, not in the slightest for anyone who had followed the works of the KES like he had would know their feud with the man they named. Nor'baal could not place a bounty on the Mandalorian, but there was something that he could offer them, an honor duel.

<Very well. I shall contact him, and see if I can arrange an honor duel between a KES warrior and one of his champions. That way the matter may be solved without further bloodshed. As for this Roann of which you speak, he already is wanted by the Hutt Cartel - I shall see to it that his Bounty is increased further still.>

The Hutt waited for the Datapad to be returned.

"Thank you Lord Nor'baal. " Trane said as he returned the datapad to the droid. "Your generositybis beyond all others. "

Prudii spoke up "You spoke of another venture you wished us to undertake on your behalf, your Excellency?"

Scrapheap took back the data-pad, transmitting the Data across Cartel Space, informing all that as of now, the KES and all their possessions and people where property of the Vesajilic Kajadic. With that out of the way, the Hutt boomed out with laughter, and bid that the KES personnel, now Vesajilic-KES Personnel, or as he liked to call them VES, rise.

<Welcome to Vesajilic. You may leave, and our other business we shall discuss at a later date. In the meantime, I shall see to it that your people are moved into accommodation near my residence on Nal Hutta. Prudii, have a list of all senior personnel sent to me, yourself included, and their roles within the KES within the hour, for I shall assign them their new quarters, salaries and roles in my palace. You weapons and armor, or all your people will be turned over to Vesajilic Guards for re-branding, and we shall then start training you able bodied in their roles.>

With that, the Hutt moved back into the Audience Chamber.

OOC: Could you PM me the senior KES people, and their roles in the KES please so I can sort out their Palace positions and pay?

Prudii nodded "Yes sir. As you wish sir." He removed his right shoulder plate. It was the plate of his armor that bore markings of his affiliation. He passed the plate off to a KES security officer near him along with the order to collect all the armor per the Hutt's instructions.

"Your Excellency, if we may now discuss in more thorough details discuss the personal acquisition I spoke with you earlier about."

''His excellency wishes to purchase your services, and also partnership in a potential deal involving the mines of Kessel.''

Oh my, yes, I like this idea. Nearly trembling with excitement, Candar had to stop himself from shouting 'YES, YES, YES!' and immediately accepting the offer. It was dangerous to make such rash choices when dealing with Hutts, especially powerful ones. "I would like to know which of my talents-" Candar quickly gulped and lightly clenched his teeth "-his excellency would like to make use of. As for a partnership in the mines of Kessel, that would be excellent. Perhaps when He is able, we could discuss the details."

Getting rather weary from the negotiations with the KES, the Hutt had forgotten his appointment with the Spice Trader - he mentally reprimanded himself as the useless droid Scrapheap reminded him. Watching as the Spicer walked in, the Hutt took up a tasty morsel from his aquarium to his right, and swallowed the wriggling creature that he drew from within.

Speaking through his translator, the Hutt chortled on for a pit, before finally Scrapheap spoke to the man.

''His excellency wishes to offer you work, running spice operations from Kessel into Imperial Space and the Outer-Rim. You will be paid 5,000 Galactic Credits for each run you perform that arrives uninterrupted, undetected and on time. His magnificence will soon be able to offer more steady work from Kessel, but until then he has a few glitterstim operations that need running, as well as the running of slave stock.''

Surprised, Candar was led into the gaudy lounge, and in to see the big.. thing... himself. Waiting while the Hutt grabbed a snack from the nearby aquarium, Candar tried to imagine what jobs he could require a lowly prospect for. He didn't have to wait long, as Nor'baal promptly began unintelligibly speaking into a translator, most likely Huttese.

As the deal was recited by the droid, Candar's eyes steadily grew wider, and his thin grin bigger. The deal was excellent, spice runs would be no problem, and the prospect of more steady work was very appealing. When the running of slave stock was mentioned Candar realized why he was chosen. Overall the deal was great, and he saw no reason not to accept.

"I accept all of the offered conditions, I would like to know, will I be expected to or payed to bring in new shipments of living cargo? I would also like to point out that glitterstim is rendered useless when exposed to light, so I will need a large supply of opaque paper."

Opaque Paper, the Hutt mused impressed that the Smuggler knew his Spice so well. The Hutt was most impressed, but now it was time to test the mans wit, and resolve.

<You expect that I would make such a deal! You expect to be paid for your slavery work as well as the generous spice work?> he said in outrage, placing his Hookah pipe down to further show is distress. Naturally, the Hutt was willing to pay the man for any work he did, he wouldn't have got as far as he had done so already if he didn't pay people.

Nor'baal simply wanted to see if the man had any spine...

Handshakes were all around in Candar's brain, and credit signs danced in front of eyes, he was certain that a deal was incoming, with an employer who seemed all too generous, especially for a Hutt... And then the fat, ugly, slug dropped the hammer.

<You expect that I would make such a deal! You expect to be paid for your slavery work as well as the generous spice work?>

Candar's face remained startlingly passive for several moments, but inside he was boiling with rage. He had demeaned himself enough, referring to the ugly motherkriffer as his excellency, and now his complete acceptance of the work was being turned down because he wanted to be payed, like any self respecting slaver.

Candar was done. Within a blink of an eye, his passive expression transformed into contorted, snarling, teeth-baring rage. In one motion, Candar stood and leaned as close as he could to the Hutt, no thought as to what he was going to say, but words tumbling off of his tongue involuntarily.

"You request me for a job of shipping spice through Imperial space, already dangerous, and I happily accepted. You asked me to look after your slave stock, and I kriffing ACCEPTED, WITH NO THOUGHT AS TO A REWARD, then I ask you whether I will be payed for a job I already accepted, which you should be grateful for in it of itself, and you act like YOU are done the injustice! Bargon wan chee kospah!"

Good, thought the Hutt, The Boy has his wits about him! Even if he is getting a little to close for comfort. Nor'baal lent back a bit from the creatures advance, before letting out a deep booming laugh. <You have spirit Candar! I like that, you will not be easily scared at the site of customs inspectors! You will not be taken for a fool by a rough spicer! You are just the man I need!> he said, his booming laugh subsiding.

The Hutt gentle pushed the creature back, before summoning a slave bearing drinks, and offering him one, before drinking one himself. <My boy, you are my kind of scum, fearless, and inventive.> quoting an old Hutt from eons past <We shall do well together. You shall be paid for all your trips, spice netting 5,000 a trip, with 2,000 for slaves and arms.>

He didn't need to say what would happen if the man lost a shipment, for it was common knowledge that a Hutt would expect to be repaid for such losses, but Nor'baal was impressed with the mans gusto, and as such was willing to offer him the fees he had mentioned.

on the whole, very mean thoughts and ideas were running through Candar's brain, when all of the sudden the Hutt leaned back and began... laughing? Not fake chuckles, but legitimate booming laughter. it was almost surprising enough to wipe the hate off Candar's face. Almost. However, he relaxed when he heard the Hutt's next words.

<You have spirit Candar! I like that, you will not be easily scared at the site of customs inspectors! You will not be taken for a fool by a rough spicer! You are just the man I need!>

Nearly sighing with relief, he simply laughed a bit as Nor'baal jokingly pushed him backwards, which was understandable, he had gotten quite up close and personal. Immediately taking a seat, Candar accepted the offered drink, and took a huge gulp of the stuff before continuing.

<My boy, you are my kind of scum, fearless, and inventive. We shall do well together. You shall be paid for all your trips, spice netting 5,000 a trip, with 2,000 for slaves and arms.>

The deal just keeps getting better. Happy with the deal, and sure he had gotten on a powerful creatures good side, Candar nodded, raised the glass, and offered a toast. "To our business together"
