Talak had finally gotten a message with an address to meet Trys. After what had happened to her apartment, it was no surprise that it wasn't anywhere he had been before, but he'd dropped everything to go there immediately. He was both excited and dreading the meeting. Since Hans had told him that Trys had recovered, he'd been bracing himself for the worst, clearly picking up on the fact that Hans, Crix, Trys, and probably other people he didn't know were all angry at him.
And yet, Trys was alive and recovering. She'd come back, and no matter what happened, that made him happy. He had missed her fiercely and had craved seeing her again. Even if this went poorly, knowing that she was recovering meant more to him than he could put into words.
The Nomad set down on Coruscant at a landing pad not far away and he made his way there in short order, standing just outside the door and pausing. His heart was pounding and he felt more terrified now than he had for most of his actual fights he'd been in. He realized it was because he cared about this far more than he cared about... pretty much anything else. That wasn't very Jedi, was it? After his talk with Max, he'd tried to take a better approach to being a Knight, actually becoming a Jedi rather than simply filling the part, but - and this was a big shocker - that was hard. Wow, shocking.
He realized he was putting off knocking and reached out to tap several times on the door, taking a step back and waiting, reminding himself that he probably shouldn't immediately throw his arms around her when she opened the door.
