A tale of Two Chiss Immortals

Striding into the Immortal’s training arena, Rhann bows deeply before his opponent, his voice soft, but powerful. Drawing his lightsaber he smirks at Nuru Krest. “So my young leader. We will see, if you have learned anything since the last time we faced like this. Prove to me your strength, your power, why you should be feared amongst the galaxy.” Bowing in deep respect Rhann felt nothing but pride in this fight. This was the High Immortal, not some schoolboy he was fighting, if anyone could beat him, it would be this man.

The Elites and Veterans of the Immortals lined outside the arena, behind safety force fields, the duel broadcast to the Council of Eminence as well. It was not every day the Chiss got to witness their two most powerful force users fighting each other. Igniting his deep green blade, Rhann salutes Nuru with the saber, and goes into the ready position, a defensive position, that also allowed quick strikes as he slowly moves forward. Calling upon the force, he uses its power to overcome his old age, and to allow him to keep up with the younger man. “Give me all you have Nuru my friend.”

Simply circling Nuru, in the middle of the dirt floored arena, the Chiss watching, Rhann kept his mind clear and open, and body ready for any attack. The Force surrounded him, and cradled Rhann, giving unto him its power.

Nuru Krest bowed back to the older Immortal as he looked at him with eagle like eyes. This man Was Rhaan, he was someone who Nuru respected a lot and who the High Immortal had clear knowledge of how powerful he was.

"Well Rhann I assure you my skills has advanced a lot since last time, I shall prove this to you right now and here. I shall show you why people will scream my name throughout the while galaxy" Nuru said before his eyes got more red and darker as he gathered the forces of the dark side around him. Of course the older Rhan wouldn't be only able to sense this but also see it as chairs, tables, and other materials were already starting to rise up in the air. It was a clear show off for Nuru's powers as he concentrated the force on those objects. It was then when things started to fly towards the older Rhan's place. The were moving toward him but actually the reason behind this attack was not to hurt but actually to distract as Nuru once again displayed his power in telekinesis and used it to destroy these objects into smaller pieces that would fly toward Rhan from all directions.

Of course Nuru was not going to waste any time as he moved toward Rhan using force speed to enchant his movement. He was ready to aim an upper cut strike at Rhan once he got rid of those furniture pieces that were flying towards him. Also Nuru's feet were ready to jump just in case Rhan decided to avoid the attack by trying to jump, but still that was not really the best choice since there were furniture pieces coming toward him from up in the air as well.

Rhann smiles, and says one word to Nuru. “Good.“ He uses some of the energy he had been gathering, and releases a telekinetic burst of energy, the objects flying at him fly away at high speeds, it would probably make Nuru stumble as his lightsaber comes up to gracefully block Nuru’s incoming strike. A moment later, he takes his free hand, and using more of the gathered force energy, shoots a small fire ball at Nuru’s stomach, at close range.

Without waiting to see if it hits, Rhann jumps backwards, and begins to gather more energy, his saber back up in a defensive position. He was gauging Nuru, looking for signs of weakness, patterns, and ability strength for the moment. Rhann was always thinking, calculating and examining the world around him.

Nuru used his lightsaber to rip away the small parts of furniture pieces that were flying towards him. Of course being a professional manipulator Nuru was alerted to his opponent's movement and that was when he quickly raised his hand once Rhan did the same thing. He then quickly used force absorption as he used to force to absorb the fire ball and then sent it back quickly towards Rhan without hesitation. It was then when Nuru used the force to get his other lightsaber that was on his belt and ignited it. It was then when Nuru enhanced the lightsaber with force lightning and used force teleknesis to have it fly high above in the air.

Nuru now looked carefully at his opponent with eagle eyes as he waited for his reaction.

Using his pyrokinesis he brings the fire ball back to him and reabsorbs the energy. Then, using his own telekinesis he grabs hold of the floating saber and smiles. He was equal in strength at least in this ability, the saber would not be going anywhere. Rushing forward, using force speed, Rhann attempts to bring his lightsaber forward in a thrusting motion, as he gets close to Nuru. His mind split between the abilities he was currently using, fighting and holding the saber in place midair.

He kept his guard up, ready to respond to anything, his body close to Nuru’s as he puts a good amount of power behind his attack, yet his legs ready to pull him back should he need a quick escape.

Nuru then noticed Rhann absorbing the fireball and that was when he continued to look at him fully ready to repel his attacks using the force which was now in the form of dark aura all around him or using his lightsaber which was in his hand. Nuru did not move an inch as he waited for Rhann to move towards him and that is when Nuru used the force gathered in his left hand and slammed the ground causing huge ice shards from the ground to erupt and move towards Rhann in full speed from the ground. Of course Rhan was already moving toward them so fast with his force speed so dodging them was not that easy unless he jumped and at that case he was risking leaving the flying lightsaber which Nuru was doing his best to maintain his position as he completely showed his excellent control over the force.

Also Nuru was ready with his lightsaber as he waited to repel any physical attack.

The very moment Nuru begins to gather the energy for the ice attack, his grip on the floating saber weakens, then it is slammed into the force field wall, shorting it out. It could easily be fixed later. Rather than stopping Rhann simply changes his attack, at the shards of ice erupt, he slashes at them with his saber, passing through a field of ice shards, however, one cuts him on the cheek, and it slows him down enough his previous attack fails, unable to complete the jab he intended.

A soft grin on his face, as a drop of blood rolls down his face he nods to Nuru in respect. Both had struck a blow. This was fun. Rather than spend the energy to heal such a minor wound he let it be. It stung and would be a little distracting, but destroying Nuru’s secondary blade had been worth it. He quickly retreats and watches Nuru. Gathering his own energy, Rhann laughs. “Want to see how its actually done boy?” The moisture in the air was gathered around him, freezing into long, thin spears, about six of them, floating above his body. “Then catch.” Using telekinesis he hurls each of the spears at Nuru, not towards places that would kill the man if they hit however.

Nuru was not the type of man to waste time, he mainly depended on speed and not giving his opponent a chance to retaliate to his attack. So as Rhann starting to slash through the shards with a piece of shard slashing through his cheek Nuru decided that this simple scratch was not enough to take the old man down. So quickly and without hesitation Nuru raised both his hands as he send a strong wave of force push toward the remaining good shards which caused them to break and fly quickly towards Rhann. Of course if this attack went well and that was a thing that Nuru thought might happen because Rhann was distracted, there was a high chance of severely cutting the old man.

Of course as Nuru did that his feet was already ready to move in fast speed to hopefully avoid any attack that Rhann was going to send at him.
