Distinguishing features: Always wears a white mask to hide scarred face in public

Biography: Born a bastard to a maid and the lord of Crow's keep Roran entered into life quietly. As he grew he was ridiculed by his 2 older brothers, who were proper heirs to his father. These disputes would often lead to physical altercations, but Roran was always overpowered by his 2 older siblings. Roran eventually learned to overcome them with speed and cunning rather than brute strength. His father happened to witness one of these bouts and decided to properly train Roran. As the master of arms trained the young boy it became apparent that the long sword didn't suit the young man. He took to short swords, even earning the respect of his older brothers by being one of the few westerosi fighters capable of duel wielding.

As he grew older he was noted as being an excellent tracker as shown during the many hunts the family enjoyed in the Rainwood. His skill with the blade only grew and he took to using knives as well.

Upon his 18th birthday his father asked what he would like to do to better serve the family. He requested to be sent to the Boneway, to aid in the defense of the realm from Dornish threats and invasion. His father agreed and for years Ronan served with distinction earning himself accolades and scars from skirmishes. That was until the day the king died.

The new King had called on loyal banner men to aid in the fight against his usurper half sister that had declared herself queen. Ronan rode with the rest of his family to meet the call of the new king. From there Ronan took part in battles against the Blacks of "Queen" Rhaenyra. Atrocities were committed on both sides and Ronan's face was terribly scarred by dragon fire during the sacking of King's landing. Ronan would begin to wear a white mask afterward to hide the hideos burns he received, soon earning him the nickname Pale Scowl from friend and enemy alike.

As winter began to desend on the land their current king and lead would perish and be replaced by Prince Aemond. He would continue the war until winter set in. During this time King Aemond would call for new dragonseed, to ride the Green's selection of new dragons. Roran decided to take the chance. His house wasn't fairing well through the winter. His father having perished earlier in the war and his eldest brother dying of fever, left the Morrigens in dire straights. If he could become a dragon seed then it would bring himself and hopefully his house new found prosperity.

He rode for dragon stone and was paired with a relativly young dragon. She shared his quiet nature and the 2 would eventually form a strong bond. Now officially dragonseed and with winter ending the war would begin anew and he would ride forth to aid his house, his king, and the realm in anyway he could.

Personality: A naturally quiet man Roran rarely speaks unless he feels the need or is spoken to. This leads Roran to avoid matters of the court, usually spending time with commoners, soldiers, or hunting. Despite being a bastard Roran was raised like family, thus he has a strong since of loyalty to his house. This loyalty carries over to any cause he chooses to serve however.

In combat he relies on tactics that many would consider unhonorable but during this time of war it tends to be overlooked. Many viewing it as a necessary evil to win the war.

Dragon/Dragon traits: Whisper is viridian with dark blue highlights along her spine ridges, snout, and wing tips. She like her master is unusually quiet for a Dragon. If asked Roran wouldn't be able to recall ever hearing her roar. This can allow Whisper and Roran to easily ambush targets as Whisper doesn't giver herself away with load roars or displays of aggression.
