< What?! > exclaimed the hutt.
< Bounty Hunters I've hired scattered all over Hutt Space and we can't take down the Shadow Syndicate, and now the Jedi are at our doorstep??! >
The hutt, fuming with rage would slam his fat fist down on one of the arms of his throne. His associates in the room staring at the floor. The hutt would lean forward..
< We. Are. Losing. This. WAR!! > Keddo would pause, < Explain to me how you have all failed at performing your simple duties in keeping the Jedi out of this? > Taking a smoke from his hookah pipe, he would continue < You are leaving me with one choice, to either negotiate with them, or escape. Negotiating with a Jedi is like trying to calm down an angered wookie. They are closed-minded ancient zealots that have small brains and big egos.. >
One of the Hutts several associates would make his way up to the Hutt, carrying a datapad and whispering to Keddo. The Hutt, enraged would hit the associate sending him flying off the stairs leading to his throne.
< Two prominent Hutt houses under custody, and several more in danger, high risk of being destroyed altogether.. This is madness. Soon we will be the only ones left, with everyone turning on us.. >
The Hutt would think to himself, the room silent once more..
< Hmm. I should go into hiding, Hutts live a long time. Longer than Jedi. Let time run its course until it's the appropriate time to return.. > with one final command before leaving his throne room he would say.
< Prepare my ship. It's high time I leave this place. >
Keddo knew at this point negotiating would be off the table with Hutts left and right being either killed or put into custody. Keddo knew this was not a fight he could win, and would make plans to abandon Hutt Space and to take refuge hidden away along with his assets to wait out the storm and possibly return again if chaos ever returns to the Hutt regions. With the Desilijics in retreat, this would leave the invading Jedi with very little resistance.
The Hutt would proceed to make his hasty escape from Nal Hutta bringing his treasures and other assets with him. Where he would go would be uncertain, but it is known that he probably will not be seen for a very long time...
