Pro-bending Arena.
Republic City.
9:30 PM.
19 days before the Winter Solstice.

It was one of the biggest nights for Pro-bending of the entire year. Crowds arrived in the audience stands in droves, tonight being the final major match of the season. Overhead lights hovered over the probending stage, illuminating the blue and red metal brightly as everything else was flushed out in darkness in contrast. Once enough people were packed into the stands an announcer roared into prominence as the radio system kicked up.

"Hello and welcome citizens of Republic City as well as visitors here to enjoy an exciting match of pro-bending! Now, for those unfamiliar with the sport two teams face-off in a battle of bending with the main goal being to knock the other team out of the ring! There are four rounds lasting four minutes each, if time runs out and both teams are standing with all three members a tie breaker occurs, and if time runs out outside of that the team with the lowest number of benders lose the round!"

"Before we get this show on the road, please enjoy the musical stylings of The Koala Otters' own Elle Chesali! A competitor in tonight's match that offered her voice for the event!"

In the center of the stage stood the short haired firebender dressed in red, microphone in hand. The crowd cheered and clapped as the woman was turned into the main focus of the pre-match chatter. "Thank you, everyone, for showing up tonight to watch my opposition get their arse kicked.", she paused to give a gentle smirk. "I hope that you all can enjoy this song, I know I do."

With that all but one stagelight went out, a white beam pointing directly at Elle as everything else was blanketed in shadow. Instruments began to pick up through the radio as a raising tempo could be heard. The woman tapped her foot in sync with the beats and started to sing her song.

"From where you are, you see the smoke start to arise where they play cards. And you walk over, softly moving passed the guards.

The stakes are getting higher, you can feel it in your heart.

He calls you bluff, he is the ace you never thought he played that much.
And now it's more than all this cards you want to touch.

You never know if winning this could really be enough.

Take a look beyond the moon, you see the stars.
And when you look around you know the room by heart.

I have never dreamed it
Have you ever dreamed a night like this?

I cannot believe it, I may never see a night like this.

When everything you think is incomplete starts happening when you are cheek to cheek, could you ever dream it?

I have never dreamed, dreamed a night like this.

How many times have I been waiting by the door to hear these chimes?
To hear that someone debonaire has just a arrived?
And opened up to see my world before my eyes?

That silhouette creates an image on the night I can't forget.
It has the scent of something special.

I can't rest.
If I resist temptation, oh I know for sure that I will lose the bet.

I walk away and suddenly it seems I'm not alone.

In front of me he stands, I stop, before he goes.

I have never dreamed it
Have you ever dreamed a night like this?

I cannot believe it, I may never see a night like this.

When everything you think is incomplete starts happening when you are cheek to cheek, could you ever dream it?

I have never dreamed, dreamed a night like this.

I have never dreamed it
Have you ever dreamed a night like this?

I cannot believe it, I may never see a night like this.

When everything you think is incomplete starts happening when you are cheek to cheek, could you ever dream it?

I have never dreamed, dreamed a night like this"

Koda scoffed at the sound Of the music as it rang through the the Arenas halls. He couldn't believe that there was such a sport as Pro-bending. He felt benders should be using their abilities for good, not as a form of entertainment.
View attachment 4599
His pale eyes stared off into the distant as if searching for ones soul in the afterlife. Since childbirth he was unable to see, relying solely upon his other remaining senses to get him by. With staff in hand and red and yellow attire he stood peacefully in the corner awaiting for his sister to arrive. With all the unpleasantry between himself and his sister he still loved her, regardless of their sibling rivalries... but he will never admit it.

Reaching at his side he pulled up one of his Gunbai and began fan himself as to him the temperatures began to rise from all the uproar and excitement. He didn't like attending to such business but his fellow airbenders wanted to sneak a peak at said activities and well....lets just say Koda isn't one to pass up breaking some rules everynow and then, (more so than not.)

If there was one thing Mei hated worse than people, it was being surrounded by them. People were selfish, spoiled, and scared of anything different than themselves. When it came to spirits the humans of this world shunned them and spread hate against their kind. They didn't understand, nor did they want to. This is why the world was in chaos. The two worlds were once as one. As they should be. But along the way the humans got jealous, spiteful, greedy...the list goes on. The spirits stayed in their own world and left the humans to destroy their own. Well, now the portals were open and spirits could come and go as they pleased. This is where Mei came in.

She'd been on this side of the portal for only a few weeks. That's how long it took her to return to Republic city. She'd flown to the South pole on her flying bison Sugar but released her before going through. She hadn't thought to how she'd get home when she came back, but Mei hadn't really planned to ever return honestly. That problem she'd solved coincidentally enough in the Spirit world when she learned to fly of her own accord. She was one of the few air benders to ever achieve such a feat. As of now, this remained a secret. She'd had very little interaction with people in the past month and that was only to buy food and supplies.

During her travels, she'd heard about the Pro-bending championship and had the strangest urge in her gut that something needed her there. So she high-tailed it to Republic City -and back home- as quick as she could. She'd arrived just hours before the event and used the cover of darkness to fly over to the arena. It was well lit around the dome, but the buildings near the pier weren't. She had all the privacy in the world to land and walk the rest of the way. One thing nice about flying was that she didn't need a change of clothes, or for that matter a pole to carry around at all times. Sure some air benders used their gliders as tools in their bending, but Mei felt above such playthings. She'd gotten rather high of herself in her time in the Spirit world.

But her cheery mood vanished when she saw a certain person waiting by the entrance. He was tall and dressed in the same garb as she. Mei recognized him instantly as her older twin Koda. She hadn't seen him in years. Should she go around? Find another way inside? He was sure to recognize her. He was skilled in that considering the man was blind. Maybe there was a chance he wasn't paying as close as attention to people's auras and he might miss hers. She felt it was worth trying. Holding her breath to not give him even that familiarity she tried to sneak by the man with the rest of the crowd. Her eyes watched her feet shuffle across the floorways.

~ Theme Song ~

Jalas Nalin stood in the snow just across the street from the pro-bending arena. While it wasn't currently snowing and there was very little snow on the ground, the young waterbender was lost in memories of snow falling gently on his face, with the same soft touch that his mother had once had. The smell of the street reminded him of his father's uniforms after he'd come home from a long day on the beat. When lost someone so close to you, it was the oddesst little details about that person that you found yourself missing the most. The way their toes would curl up as they sat down on the couch or the way they would always sniff their cup of tea before taking the first sip. These were the sorts of little things that made Jalas cry when he was alone, he'd be fine all day, sometimes even weeks or months at a time, and yet still after nine years he'd just break down emotionally and cry for minutes, hours, or until he passed out.

His parents had been the only family he'd ever known, the memory of their murder played back in his head as if he'd been watching himself from someone else's perspective. For years he'd disconnected with those memories, even as they were the only thing that he could truly feel. His parents murders had happened nine years to the day, on the night of the final pro-bending match of the season. He didn't want to be here. It had nearly broken him when he passed by the streetlight his parents had been lynched on, in an emotional fury, as well as an uncharacteristic display of his bending abilities, he'd formed a thing ice blade and sliced through the metal lamp multiple times on the way here.

He knew other members of the Shadow Benders had witnessed it, they'd been tailing him, watching over him just in case, as he and they were all going to the pro-bending match tonight not so much to enjoy the sport, but to keep the peace should the Alliance seek to make an appearance. Normally he would have never come back here, in fact it'd been the first time since he'd come to one of these things since that horrible day when he was fourteen. For nine years now he'd dedicated his entire existence towards making sure what happened to his family never happened to the family of any bender ever again. Jalas had had to fight, to go hungry, to feel some of the worse things and commit some of the foulest acts, but he'd survived under the vigilant guidance of the Shadow Benders, joining them when he still wasn't old enough but had done so anyway. Eventually he'd risen to leadership, claiming the title of Mizukage, which now meant he had to suck up his personal issues with this place, this sport, this night. Jalas knew he had to lead, to protect the people of Republic City, to make sure no more children were orphaned the way he had been.

His own fears about returning to this arena crept up on him as he stood silently under the night's sky, dreaming of snow falling gently on his face. It had been so beautiful that night, if he ever died fighting, Jalas knew he'd want to die on a night like the one his parents were killed. The frost and snow hugging the sidewalks and grass like a firm blanket, the snow drifting down lazily, the air so cold and crisp it almost felt energized. He remembered the clouds, how they'd been so dark but looked so heavy. The next morning it'd turned into a practical blizzard, which had been perfect because all he'd done was sit under his father's desk at the police station and cry, officers and investigators screaming all around him. He still remembered one woman, a firebender who'd held him while he'd cried. She later offered him a coffee with whisky in it. She'd told him of how it'd give him the courage to make it through it all. A lot of people had told him how great of a man his father had been, but more than anything that woman and her kindness had been what kept him from wandering outside to freeze to death in the howling storm. Feeling his mind come back to the present Jalas couldn't help but think of how he could really use another one of those coffees right now.

He could hear the cheering radiating from the inside, the sound of someone singing could vaguely be heard, though the words themselves were lost over the distance they had traveled. All of the other members of the Shadow Benders who'd been assigned to watch over the match had already made their way inside, likely finding their seats all over the place. There were only a few dozen in the gang, but at least half of them had to be here right now. the Tsuchikage was leading a small group of his most elite earthbenders to sack a known Alliance base while the Hokage had been left behind at their own base with a few members just in case as well. Jalas, the Mizukage was in charge of this task, keeping the match free of anti-bending terrorism. Of course there were legal authorities present, but they would last long if the Alliance made an actual move against the match, nor would they be able to keep every bender safe either, Jalas didn't expect such a burden of them or anyone else, at least other than himself.

It was a rare thing to see Airbenders, even nowadays, so the young waterbender paused as he was walking into the arena to nod to the two young monks as a show of respect. Unlike many who had come to see the sporting match tonight, Jalas knew that these two benders, like himself, had a proper respect for their respective art forms. He offered not other greeting than that, so as not to stand out too much from the other people walking to and fro. He was dressed in slim fitting white pants and a loose fitting white shirt and a white vest overtop. The only color on his entire person was the nearly identical shades of teal of his eyes and hair, which he dyed to match his eyes but never quite matched perfectly. He'd arrive inside just at the tail end of the song, quickly paying for his ticket before finding a seat somewhere in the middle of the aisle.

"Uuuuuuuuuggggghhhhh Whhhhhhhhy, " Rorrir moaned, drooping his head down dramatically and letting his arms hang free by his side as he continued his tirade. "I didn't come here for a stupid SONG!" He raised his voice on the last word, practically spitting the word forth into the arena, drawing a few dark gazes from those around him. Rorrir gave them a taste of his patented glare, puffing out his chest and daring one of them to say something, " Oh shrug off, WE DIDNT come here for a song did we? Last time I checked this was the BENDING arena, or am I wrong?" No response save a few last minute glares as people shifted away, his fellow arena-goers unwilling to press him on the issue for whatever reason. Looking around, Rorrir let out a triumphant hmmph before crossing his arms and leaning back in his seat, fixing his scowl on the singer as he waited for the song to end.

For a moment, he tossed a longing glance back at the entrance, almost, almost willing to leave his hard won seat for a bathroom break or concessions run. He'd chosen a seat right next to an entrance just for that reason, well, and so he'd have an easy out in case of an attack or something. Alas, it was probably to late for such a trip, the song wouldn't be THAT long. Reaching up, Rorrir pulled his hood on, covering himself in his ratty brown cloak that.......did absolutely nothing to block the sound, swell. Rolling his blue eyes, Rorrir settled for a little equipment inspection, uncaring of the less than quiet noises he made as he jiggled his weapons and coin pouch, double checking for a certain slip of paper.

On that paper, was the time, location, and details of an interview with a certain police station. He honestly didn't need the paper, he'd long since committed it all to memory. But still, it was just what he'd been looking for, and he wasn't taking any chances, not with such a perfect job on the line. The singing coming to a close and subsequent applause took his attention again, and he smirked as he a cool idea came to him. Straightening up, Rorrir let out a roaring call, cupping his hands to help carry his voice. "FINALLY! BOOOOOH!"

Mika pulled her Hajib around her head, simultaneously cursing at the cold stone beneath her bare feet. It was early summer/late spring and the ground felt like it was winter. Deciding that she couldn't take it anymore, she closed her eyes, using a bit of lava bending to warm up the ground beneath her feet and soothe the cold flesh. Mika was passing the entrance to the Pro-bending stadium when she caught whisps of a song being sung. Like a trained snake, she was drawn to the music, she filtered out every other sound and listened to the words, walking slowly toward the arena. When she neared the wall, Mika turned and leaned against it, feeling the vibration from the crowd and the music. When the music ended, she could clearly hear the jeers of someone (@Narsi) above the applause the rest of the crowd produced. Focusing in on that one voice, she slid one foot across the paved stone, her action caused the stone that the man was standing on to slide out from under him, causing him to fall to the ground.

Mika smiled to herself and continued walking. She moved to the part of the stadium's perimeter where she knew that no one would be able to see until the next shif of guards, and opened a small slot in the earthen base. Stepping in, she blended the earth into an elevator-like ride and stopped when she got to a small storage room. she then stepped out into the room, sliding the small purse from
Her shoulder and pulling back her Hijab to reveal the feathered hair of her alter ego, Gaia. She rummaged through the purse until she pulled out the mask she so often wore. It was a slightly ornate, platinum mask of which she had carved out by a non-bending blacksmith. Only the most skilled metal benders could bend Platinum, so she trusted it to hide her identity.

Hiding the mask beneath her robes, she replaced the Hajib and walked out of the storage room and out into the stadium as she made her way to her seat. Only after trekking halfway across the stadium did she remember that she was blind and couldn't read the paper. Turning to a random person, (@Undine), she asked, "Excuse me, could you tell me what my ticket says? I seemed to have forgotten my glasses."

The Earthbending miner had only arrived to Republic city recently. And so far Charles was overwhelmed, the building were too tall in his mind, too close together and simply too many. How could so many people live like this and not go crazy with no personal space. So wondering around the simply man didn't know what to do. Having arrived on boat, Charles was slightly sea sick and couldn't figure out where he should go. The man hadn't planned this far ahead, maybe a oversight maybe simple foolishness to think the city will be smaller.

So the man began wondering, and wonder seeing many of the sights and asking for directions to the nearest place for work. Many of the people were simply rude to the Charles and told him to do something to himself. So the miner only got lost, and eventually when dozens of people began heading one direction. Charles simply followed, he didn't know where anyone was going. Or what was happening but he figured it most have been something important. So he went with the crowd. His backpack full of extra clothes and a what money he could get from the village to help him start up here.

The walk was long and everyone seemed to be talking with one another, which was the first sign of some sort of community within this city that Charles had seen. And eventually he knew why, there was some sort of giant bowl like building. Hundreds of people were there already, and hundreds more were coming. It was honestly the largest gathering of people the young man had ever seen. And yet Charles could see they were walking really close to the ocean, something he already seen plenty of when he go to the city by boat. So staying in the middle of the herd Charles did his best to push his way though, thankfully his life as a miner gave him plenty of muscle compared to the others that lived in the city.

Doing his best not to get shoved and sent to the ground he got as close as he could to the arena. Unsure of how to get in or what to do. All Charles knew was that everyone was excited and placing bets, so the man who hadn't been in the city for more then a day can only assume it was a sport's arena of some kind. So as he walked around, Charles could see plenty of different kind of people. Fire, water, Earth and even a few air nation people, it was all a real blend of cultures. But it was a bit much for the young man so he went to the railings and watched as people came in, doing his best to listen to the noise coming from the stadium.

Republic city was a disgusting place, filled to the brim with the kinds of people that Zhan Ma Dao had come to hate in his life the most, benders who used their talents to gain nothing but money, and those who pushed technology forward at the cost of all other things, never asking if they should and only if they could. The pro-bending tournament going on was a display he had no love for, and he would have loved to put a stop to it.

However, now was not the time, and no one had yet peaked his attention enough to warrant becoming his new target. Oroshi would not hunt right now, so Zhan had come in his normal attire of black and green clothing, his hair brushed back as he walked towards the Arena's entrance, ticket in hand to watch the event. As he walked, his eyes drifted towards a group of people outside, one of which caught his attention. A man with a staff, dressed in red and yellow, and with a shaved head.

Zhan scrunched up his shoulders with his hands in his pockets, looking away from the man as he walked past. Seeing a fellow airbender here made him have a flood of memories of his time at the temple, and he hoped the man wouldn't recognize him as he tried to slip past discretely and walk into the arena.

Tivris always did love Pro-bending not just for the fights but it also brought newcomers to the city who made easy marks. sneaking into the arena and watching games was a regular occurrence for him, not that he manages to get in every time but even so he still manages to pickpocket a few people coming and going from the arena.

Today was no different, as Tivris stood on the bridge to the arena watching the crowd for an easy target. and he did: he spotted a fellow a few years older and a lot taller and stronger than him but looks on his face was that of a stranger in a new land which he was looking. (@Richie B. ) he followed the man until he posted himself on a railing. This was his chance for simple a smash an' grab. Tivris approached the man as if he was walking towards the arena blending in with the crowd until he was nearly upon the man. He knocked himself into the man, quickly taking his wallet from his pocket during the commotion. "oh sorry, didn't see you there." he apologizes before merging back into the crowd where he came from just as quickly as he arrived.

Making his way into the stadium with his newly acquired wallet, he takes a seat watch the match. The Koala Otters are his current favourite this season, he had missed the beginning of the song which bummed him out a bit but he guesses that's what he gets for taking time to steal a wallet. he enjoyed the song wasn't often he got to listen to music and even rare listening to it live but as the song finished a man booed her.he scowled at men just before he tripped or something. which didn't fail to produce a smirk from him. now he waited for the match to begin.

With the ending of her song, Elle took a small bow towards the audience as a loud applause overwhelmed the room. That went.. better than expected. In truth performing that song had been her very first time singing in front of a live crowd. She volunteered to sing suddenly, the staff wanting to have a small before-show to the main event. She was actually replacing the singer that they hoped to hire, her falling sick and the young firebender impulsively offering her own voice. She was anxious but she maintained enough calm to do what she was meant to do.

"Thank you, everyone.", she gave a small wave to the full stadium. "Now let's get on with pro-bending eh? I mean, that is the reason you all came here right?" Staff members quickly arrived on the stage and removed the microphone. Following that action Elle walked off of the stage over to the changing rooms just under the stadium. She wouldn't be fighting in a dress. Hell, if she could even wear a dress for more than twenty minutes that would be an achievement. As soon as she was out of view she took an arm and wiped away her lipstick and eye makeup. Passing by her teammates right before the changing rooms the two other benders served up high-fives to the short haired woman.

"Nice job, now get changed and we can go wreck the Platypus Bears yeah?", a tall and well-built earthbender clad in black and blue pro-bending armor said to Elle.

"Yeah! Lets knock 'em dead out there.", replied a slim brown haired woman.

"Thanks Gao.", a smirk curled her lips. "And is there any doubt that we won't already do that Sen?" Elle went off into a private changing room, coming out in the same armor as the two others with a bright crimson waist sash tightened around her hips.

Now as that was happening, the announcer was having a bit of fun with the microphone. "Again, that was Elle Chesali from one of the teams competing in tonight's match! In a few minutes the match will start its first round, but before that happens let's get some cheering going! Koala Otter fans, Platypus Bear fans, lets show them some love and make some noise to help get them out on the stage already huh!?"

Back behind stage shouting and chants for both competing teams could be heard, muffled by the distance between them and the audience. "Let's get out there and win guys, and remember the drills we've done for this. We know their firebender almost always starts out with the same flurry, give me some cover and I should be able to just redirect his blasts. Without their leader the Platypus Bears are down to two competent benders that can't do much without focusing on a single person, we take advantage of their reliance on one another and try our best to knock one out at a time. Round two, three and four we'll have to look for weaknesses and go full offense.", Elle explained the general plan for the match. It wasn't anything too specific past the first round, since the other team would be prepared the next time if they just repeated the strategy over and over. They would have to improvise and put enough pressure on the other team to win three rounds to win the match, hopefully they could pull through.

About six or so minutes after the announcer's message the speakers roared up again. "Now, we welcome to the pro-bending stage The city's very own Koala Otters!", all spotlights jumped to life once more, three benders in black walking over to the stage and getting into position. "And let's not forget Ba Sing Se's Platypus Bears!", another group of three benders adorned in beige uniforms made their way onto the stage, reflecting the Koala Otters' position on the field.

"Oh no you don't"

Feeling the presence of his twins movements as she attempted to sneak by. (@EmilyHuene)

"You think you can leave for a long time and not come say hello....?"

His attention being focused on Mei, sure the Monk disliked his sister in many ways more than one. His love and protection of his few seconds younger, sibling were still strong. His staff stretched out tapping against the back of her leg with enough force to just knock her off balance if it connected correctly.

His attention was drawn to a smaller movement writhing the air pressure who seemed to be close by only to pause for a brief moment, unsure of the presences intentions his lips perched he made a small gesture in recognition. (@Undine)

His smile soon changed from happy to stern as he noticed and felt a similar aura of bending but didn't seem to be from the same path as he and his sister chose.

Koda had more of, not a respect or disrespect but more of a nuetral stand for airbenders who didn't choose the peaceful path as he and others have. But none the less he felt a mutual ground to him as he did to Koda.

Unknowingly looking toward Mei's feet he gestured, Koda put a hood over his head and his arm arched out as if to take her arm in his and work their way within the arena. His bare feet softly patted the floor beneath, and his staff arched at his side.

(@Talon maara ) "Oh no you don't...You think you can leave for a long time and not come say hello....?"

Mei felt his staff come around and try to trip her up. Her leg was pulled back and her Air-bending training took over. She corrected herself by spinning the opposite way and came around to face him with both feet planted firmly on the floor. Mei rolled her eyes. How did he always know! With a groan she put her hands on her hips and tried to sound somewhat enthused to see him, "Koda! I didn't see you there. How are you? Still off trying to save the world?"

His response didn't show any effort in wishing to talk with her as he put his hood up and offered his arm to her. Mei grumbled aloud and would take it to escort him into the arena. Always playing babysitter. He didn't need her help. He'd gotten all this way by himself. He just wanted to keep an eye on her, pun intended. Mei would take his arm and start to walk forward with the crowd. She had half a mind to walk him into a concession stand. Not that he wouldn't see a prank like that a mile away. He could probably smell every one of the venders from their current spot. She would glance over to him hoping to look into his grey eyes. But with his hood drawn she couldn't see anything. Not without awkwardly leaning forward to see around the cloak.

"Earth to Koda? You in there? Or have you gone deaf too?"

People often spoke of seeing familiar faces, but in truth her face wasn't familiar to Jalas, it was her eyes that reminded him of the earthbending prodigy he'd once trained alongside at the waterbending school. She was blind, just like that lavabender he'd known years ago. It couldn't be could it? Jalas had slowly fallen out of his old life after his parents died, by the time he'd turned 16 he stopped going to the bending school entirely. "Mika? Mika Terran? Girl, it's been ages, it's Jalas, remember me?" As if in answering her question, Jalas took the lavabender's hand gentle and directed her to bench next to him. It didn't matter what her ticket said when one could sit with old friends.

It was really good to see her again, they'd been good friends at the bending school, and Jalas had a vague memory of her family being at his parents' funeral, her father being Jalas' boss and all. "How you been? It's been what, like seven years? We were so young back then." A part of him felt guilty, having her here made him less suspicious since it looked like he was just hanging out with a friend, but on the other hand he was glad she'd found her way to him. Mika was a powerful bender, which made her a target to the Alliance, but she was also blind, which under the right circumstances made her an easy target to those that knew how to combat her blind earthbending. It wasn't like he'd come to watch the actual probending match anyway, having someone like Mika at his side in case something did go down would only prove useful later.

'Whack' Rorrir was knocked off his seat as a sudden bit of earthbending affected his chair in the stands. Instantly he was on his feet, hissing with rage and already sinking his own senses into the earth to follow examine the residual ripple effects of the earthbending. How DARE someone attack him, for what, saying something they didn't like? Oh, now he was pissed, and it certainly didn't help that he could hear the giggling from the people around him. Following the ripple, uncaring of losing his seat at this point, Rorrir stormed out of the stadium entrance, each stomp registering as a slight shudder around him.

He didn't care how much of a scene he made, heck, he MADE a scene. This time, the law, justice, was on his side, and he was going to make the most of it. Once outside, upon seeing a deciding lack of whomever could've attacked him, Rorrir let out a yell and stomped the ground as hard as he could, forming a shower of boulders that would rise and fall harmless, but still draw everyone's attention.

That done, Rorrir would turn his scowl upon everyone in the ground before yelling as loudly as he could. "WHO SAW HIM, THE GUY WHO ATTACKED ME! I KNOW HE WAS OUT HERE, WHERE DID HE GO"

"Mika? Mika Terran? Girl, it's been ages, it's Jalas, remember me?"

Sitting beside him, Mika recalled the voice, although a little deeper, it still held the same tones as what she remembered. "OH MY GOD! Jalas?! It's been so long!"

"How you been? It's been what, like seven years? We were so young back then."

"I've been good, and yeah, about seven years. It's been so long, I didn't recognize you at all!"
Hopefully Jalas remembered about her 'sight', if not, it would be a but awkward. Unbeknownst to Jalas, Mika was also glad to have Jalas here, making her less conspicuous as she waited for anything to happen. Her Gaia persona was one that she hoped not to use tonight, but if worse came to worse, then she wouldn't hesitate. "So, Jalas, what brings you to this lovely Pro-bending match?"

Charles didn't have much on him but what little he should have clearly been paying more attention. Sure he tired checking his wallet more then once, remembering his mother telling him that he needed to do that. But when the younger man bumped into him, the non city man didn't think anything of it.

"It's alright friend." Looking around Charles watched as the people began to rush into the stadium as the sound of the song finished, figuring that maybe he could afford a single ticket went to look for his wallet.

But patting his pockets, he found them lacking in the usually money pouch. Sure it wasn't that big but he should have at least felt it when he checked. So freaking out, Charles began to empty his pockets out looking for the small leather pouch that contained the few coins he had from his home village. Shoving those in front of him too look around to find it, the floor was full of trash, and empty bags, but nothing. It took way to long for the earthbender to realize what happened, it really was the first time he felt angry, and embarrassed at the same time. Looking at the stadium where he saw the kid run into, right now his eyebrow twitched as he approached the stadium.

He didn't have a plan or a idea on how to get in but he sure as heck not going to let some punk city kid steal his family's money. So running to the nearest entrance, huddling with the biggest group running in there. Sure it was a risk and Charles never did anything illegal or risky like this but where he came from, you had to handle your own problems. So as the people began to ask for tickets, and with the two ticket people dealing with others, Charles rushed in.

"HEY STOP!" Charles heard someone say but he quickly turned into the nearest hallway, running into the stadium hoping to find the kid. Running around there wasn't much security here, but running up the stairs to the higher levels.

Charles was shocked by the stadiums actual size but he wasn't standing around to admire the sight. He was going to find that kid before this event was over that was for sure. @christhebarker
