A nudge in the right direction

So hello people of thestarwarsrp.com. Me, Chronicled again returning after a while. I got bored my first time around on the site, but I think that was only because of how busy I truly was with other lifely matters at the time. I remembered that last time I was on the site trying to find a master for the Jedi character I had made was a stretch, and just didn't happen. I've returned with the inspiration and courage to come up with a more exciting character.

I have two different types of characters in my head as of right now, and I just cannot seem to make up my mind. So I'm reaching out to you, people of thestarwarsrp, to help me with the last variable that will decide where I will go from here. To determine whether or not I will go alongside the Hutt Cartel or the Rebellion, I must know how busy either faction is relative to each other and the frequency at which the factions are making roleplays. If someone could clue me in, I would greatly appreciate it!

At this point I would say that all main factions are more active than the rebellion, Cartel included.

So is that to say that the rebellion is pretty dead? Because if it's only lacking dedicated members then I could definitely take it among myself to round it up. Now, if there were no fun in joining the rebellion due to how dead it was then I'd stay away. What would you recommend?

I hate to say it but Hutticane is right noting big is going on with the rebels right now. We aren't allow to fight the Imperials just yet and are waiting for that chance. But we do got a small group of dedicated roleplayers involved in social and small mission threads.

Do what you want, I suggest starting with a character and then choosing a faction...or maybe dont choose a faction at all at first.

Well. In my mind I was either going to go for a Kaminoan pistol jockey for the rebellion or a scarred gamorrean bounty hunter for the cartel. I think I'll be going with the cartel for now. :)
