A New Start

[Captain Kara]

She sat outside on a bench facing the Jedi Temple, everything had moved so quick. It was only a few weeks ago that she was training in the mountains with her master. Now, she sat outside a large temple, wondering if she should go in or not. She cautiously looked around, she saw many aliens, some big some small, some furry some scaly. It was in all an overwhealming experince. Those men had given her a datapad with information about Coruscant on it, 5000 Credits, a blaster, and they replaced her sword with one similaar except they said it would work better. She had not spent any of the money or used the weapons.

I should have stayed back with my people instead coming here to a strange culture.

She took a deep breath.

 

[Dexington]

*Zaen was on a stroll from his appartment, going to see the Temple once again, when he saw a girl sitting, and just looking. Something he hadn't done in a long time, it was beautiful after all. He decided that he would go and take a look see himself. He walked over to the same bench and took a seat beside the girl.*

"It is beautiful isn't it?"

 

[Captain Kara]

Kylie was startled by the voice then turned to see a man sitting down. She eyed him for a moment then proceeded to answer his question but stopped. She smiled. She took a deep breath.

"Well, yes it is beautiful." She said to the man her voice was exotic.

She pushed a strand of hair out from her face revealing very deep blue eyes, unearthly mystery in them.

 

[Dexington]

*Zaen looked into the girl's eyes, a very mesmorizing blue. They were the first thing that he noticed about her, and he wasn't able to look away from them, no matter how hard he tried.*

"Want to go in?"

*Even though Zaen was not a Jedi anymore, they still let him walk freely amongst their halls, as he was an ally of their's.*

 

[Captain Kara]

She thought for a moment then decided it would be for the best for her to go with someone who at least knew where he is going.

"I will accompany you." She said standing and stretching her stomach showing slightly.

She picked up her bag.

 

[Dexington]

*Zaen's eyes went down to her revealed stomach for a second before he cleared his throat and looked back up at her eyes, cheeks turning a little rosey.*

"I didn't catch your name..."

 

[Captain Kara]

She blushed for a few seconds then turned toward him.

"I am Kylie of the tribe Cerule, shaman of the way of the Diamond Mind." Kylie said smiling brightly at the man.

 

[Dexington]

"Pleasure to meet you Kylie, my name is Zaen. Zaen Monthra."

*Zaen placed a friendly hand on Kylie's back and extended the other, leading to the doors of the academy. He was interested to hear about her people, or her ways moreso. He had never heard about this 'Diamond Mind' until she had just mentioned it now.*

"How about I give you a tour, and you can tell me about your people?"

 

[Sovereign]

She shuddered at his touch then blushed. She cleared her throat.

"My are in a tribal system, we have a council of elders who lead and a small group of advisior Shamans. We hunted using spears, blades, and the such." She said looking at Zaen.

She sighed.

 

[Dexington]

SPOILER 3: GTFO NOW!

*Zaen led her into the temple, the main hall. Always well decorated and kept as though it was brand spanking new. He stopped in the center of the grand hall and looked at the ceiling, an intricet patern of designs made a fabulous desplay.*

"Welcome to the Grand Hall, the main area of the Jedi Temple."

*He looked at her with a smile, and nodded as she spoke, though was confused by the sigh afterwards.*

"I don't mean to intrude, but did something bad happen?"

 

[Matthias Rogan]

Corner, passageway, corner, passageway, and yet another corner. You'd think that you would find yourself back where you had started, all the corners. He said as he turned around and, walked staight into two Jedi. "Sorry, I just was going to..." he started in Basic, before he realized that he might have given himself away. Speaking in Basic would arouse suspicion, suspicion would lead to quesions, and he didn't want to stir those dark memories. Matthias was a Wookie, and as such he shouldn't, because of the way his vocal chords were made, able to produce the Basic language. He swiftly and clumsily gathered all but one of his the scattered flimsies. In the name of Ashla, I need to get out of here. He stood up and bowed and slowly started to back away.

 

[Dexington]

"Hold on a minute..."

*Zaen walked away from Kylie for a moment, approaching the Wookiee. He had yet to see a Wookiee Jedi recently, nor one who could speak perfect basic. Nothing really added up. Not only to take into account that he seemed to be in some sort of hurry. He was up to something.*

"My friend! Where are you off to this evening?"

 

[Captain Kara]

Kylie shook her head.

"No, nothing bad happened...it is just a bit overwhelming...being here and all." She said smiling at him.

She watched this giant ball of fur walk by then Zaen chased him down.

"Okay, I will wait here." Kylie said leaning against the nearest thing.

 

[David S]

K'Kurshek was walking around The Jedi Temple on Coruscant when he found a bunch of people that seemed to be talking; he noticed a female say 'Okay, I will wait here.' K'Kurshek walked over to the female and said 'hi'.

 

[Cailst]

Hayvan was wandering around the jedi temple when he saw a couple of people standing around. He saw K'Kurshek standing talking to some female. Then he decided to talk to them. He had his translator turned on so Jawa language could be translated to basic.

"Hi guys." Hayvan said.

 

[David S]

OOC: You're a Jawa? Let me know is not.

"Hello there small one."

 

[Captain Kara]

Kylie was startled by this even larger creature wearing robes and a small smelly rodent-like little ugly thing. She just stood there dumbfounded. She didn't know what to say. She looked for an escape but there was no way out.

 

[Dexington]

*Zaen turned around to see Kylie being talked to by the two aliens. From what she had told him earlier, it sounded as though she hadn't seen many over the course of her life, and she might be a little startled. He approached K'Kurshek and bowed to him.*

"My apologies, Master Jedi, but I think you should check on that Wookiee, he seems suspicious. I know my way around this temple, I can take care of this girl."

*He then looked back at Kylie while motioning to the little Jawa by her side.*

"I see you've made a new friend. This is a Jawa, very friendly little people, nothing to be afraid of. What he is doing here I have no clue..."
