"One of our Shade Hopefuls has gone missing on Manaan. It's Markus Griot, a Human. We must find him and rescue him from whatever took him. Prepare for the worst."

He pointed to the door. "Let's go, can we use your ship?"

Meanwhile, on Manaan. Markus Griot lay asleep. He knows not where he is or what has happened. He dreams of his father...

"Come on, boy," Broba nudges him. "Wake up!"
Markus stirs. "Huh?" He opens his eyes and sits up. "Daddy?"
Broba scoffs. "Daddy. What are you, eight? Come on. We're gonna be late."

"Yes, of course. It's this way."

Garev lead Quentell to his ship. The large red vessel was docked on the last landing pad at the temple. Once aboard, Garev started up the ship and programed their destination into the navicomputer and departed.

"We're off"

"Late for what?" Markus rises. Strange that he feels nothing. He could swear he'd been knocked out just moments ago."
"I'm gonna help you find your master," Broba smirks. He dashes off into the fields. "Come on, boy! Keep up!"
Markus looks around. He can't place the planet or even the system, but he knows he has been here before. The clouds are thick and the grass is tall. How would he know such a barren place? Only Broba's, "Hurry up, Boy!" snatches him from his thoughts and he runs after his father."

"This is what happened: Markus Griot was sent to Manaan to investigate the bacta cultivation facilities. There he went missing. I think we should start searching there."

"Understood. Sounds to me as though the initial information given was not the entirety of the situation."

Garev took over piloting after they exited hyperspace. He piloted with the Force. He landed the ship at the docking platform nearest the cultivation facility.

Shall we go conduct our own investigation then?"

"We should look for Markus. In our search, we will probably discover what's going on anyway, so yeah, we will do our own investigation. Be on your guard, and keep your hands close to your sabers."

He excited the ship and looked around. He saw nobody. He reached out in the Force to see if he could find Markus that way. No succes yet.

He turned to Garev: "We should stay together, no splitting up. Whatever's roaming here is not a cute little jawa!"

Broba runs to the endge of the field and stops at a cave. He looks over at his son, who had no trouble catching up, and nods. "I wish I had time to explain, son. I do. But your enemies aim to end your life soon and we must get you back to your body before then. This cave is the fastest way to do it. It"
"Wat?" Markus looks at the cave and then his father. " I don't understand."
"You will one day," Broba pats Markus on the shoulder. "Stay alert. Lets go!" He takes off into the cave.

Garev left the ship and enabled the security system. He glanced around to see if he could find any Force trails left by the hopeful they were looking for.

"Perhaps we should head towards the facility to get a better sense of what happened and where he could be."

"Good idea, Garev. Let's go."

He moved towards the facility, still on guard and ready to pull out his lightsaber. He looked around and saw nobody. It did not give him a comfortabel feeling at all.
Suddenly he sensed something. A force-sensitive?

He wondered.

"Garev? Do you sense that too?"

He walk over to a door which was the entrance of the building.

"Something's behind this door and it's not our hopeful." he said as he unclipped his lightsaber.

Garev could see multiple force trails, all of which lead behind the door before them.

"Give me a moment Quentell."

Garev went into a meditative state and focused on the door, using an enhanced version of his sight, Garev was able to see what was on the other side of the door. There were multiple people on the other side of the door, some lay on the floor others appeared to be standing guard. Garev left his meditative state and turn back to Quentell.

"It appears that there is a hostage situation inside this facility. Our hopeful is most likely inside, he's probably under heavy guard."

"Alright... Do you remember the lession about the control of anger? We might need it. First we must try to solve this peacefully, though I highly doubts that's possible. If they won't cooperate it's time to show them our lightsabers."

He looked up and saw two windows. One was barricaded with wood but the other one was open. He pointed up so Garev could see.

"We won't be going through this entrance, instead we'll go up."

He used the Force to jump up and reached the grid with his hands. With some more help of the Force he managed to pull himself up. There were two boxes in front of Quentell and he quickly ducked, so he could hide.
He could see people standing and others wielding guns. He reached for his lightsaber and waited for Garev.

Garev nodded and followed Quentell up to the window. Using the Force to lift himself straight up to the window and floated inside and silently planted his feet on the floor.

"What do you suggest as our course of action?"

"Well, now we oversee the situation..."

He looked around the hall and saw the guns these men were carrying. Blaster rifles. Simple, deadly blaster rifles.

"This is too easy..." he said. "Stay here, Garev. I'm going down to speak with the boss. If they decide to get violent, you come in and we'll kick some ass down there. Do you copy?"

Garev chuckled after seeing what the captors were equipped with.

"Copy that. Whenever you're ready."

Quentell nodded to Garev and then jumped off the grid, and landed right in front of the guy, who Quentell thought was in charge of the group.

"What the- Who are you?" the leader said as he aimed the blaster at Quentell's chest.

"Calm down, friend. I was wondering what's going on here. I think you should end this before somebody gets hurt."

The leader laughed and nodded to some men of his who were near Quentell. They stepped closer and waited for orders.
"Gentlemen, kick his ass and make him eat the ground."
The thugs laughed and prepared to attack Quentell. The Shade Knight shook his head and pulled out his lightsaber.

He looked at the leader with evil eyes, the glow of the silver blade lightened his face, and it made him look pale.

"I wouldn't do that, if I were you."

The leader called out to his other men: "Kill him!!"

Multiple shots were fired at Quentell, and he blocked the bolts with ease.
"Garev! Get over here now!" he shouted.

As soon as the shots were fired Garev dropped down behind two of the thugs, spinning he sliced them across the chest, separating each of them in two. He looked at the leader as he reached out and began choking another thug in the room.

"You have something that belongs to us... We would like it back, if you don't mind."

"A... Are you Jedi? Oh my God, the Jedi are here!"

"Easy, friend. I don't want anymore people to get hurt here. We are not Jedi, just tell me where Markus Griot is and let all these people go. Or you'll suffer."

"Uhm, wh.. who?"

Apparantly this man did not know who Markus Griot was, or at least he acted like he did not know. Quentell looked over to Garev and back to the leader.
"Tell me, why are you doing this? What is your goal?"

It took a while before the man answered. Then he said: "We are here to deliver these people to slavers."

"Are you serious? Let these people go at once!"

Looking around Garev saw all who would be sold as slaves, the sight of the condition the were kept in was appalling. He saw two other Force trails that lead down, most likely to the back of the facility.

"The person approve you. Where are they? and how many of these prisoners did they take with them?"

Garev put his other light saber away and began to choke the other thug in the room with them.

"You will have three chances to be honest with us."
