Location: Jedi temple on Tython.
Time: Early morning hours.

Hishamori woke up with a kind of sluggishness that would have made any person working over a hangover jealous, as while she was being rather slow about getting up she also wasn't suffering nearly as much as an average person might be from drinking a bit. While to be fair her master was probably suffering a far worse a head ache than she herself was. As Hish did not drink nearly as much, Hish still did drink enough to have the slight 'buzz' going on.

Sitting up in bed Hishamori blinked a couple times as she stared at the wall, before slipping out from beneath the covers and started walking her way towards the restroom, where to cleaned herself up and took nice shower. Once she was done she proceeded to get dressed in her normal exercise clothing. The last thing she grabbed was her lightsaber before she headed out of her quarters, and headed towards the the ground floor of the temple. Greeting her fellow knights as she passed and headed towards the training grounds. Once she arrived Hish saw there were a couple of other Jedi there, and they were all doing some either form of training or exercise. Cataloging that info for later, Hish started her normal regime of some strength training and some light cardio.

Getting a the slight warm up out of the way, Hish went and activated the sparing droids normally she would spar with her master, but since her master was most likely nursing a hangover in the infirmary the droids would have to do. Getting the into the first stance of her style and activating her saber, the standard blue blade hummed to life, as she waited for the droids to attack.

Once the first droid of the 6 droids started their attack, Hish easily deflected the strike coming her way and sent a small force push at the droid to unbalance it and sliced the droid in half as it tried to recover from the stagger. The other droids stunned a minute from their fellow droid being destroyed suddenly found Hishamori upon them and slicing two more droids in half in very quick succession, the other three finally got their act together and started to fight back, and Hish backed off as they tried to triple team her. Deflecting what attacks that were a bit ambitious from the droids, and dodging out of the way, the third droid tried attacking her from behind only for her to turn around and slice it in half. Following up the attack Hish continued her swing to deliver a strong power blow to one of the two droids still standing, while sending a very weak force push as the second droid to trip it up as it tried attacking her side. Her power blow smashed through the other droid's defense and staggered it, she followed the attack with a low end swip which cleaved the droid in half. Finally turning her attention to the last droid she grabbed it with the force and pulled it towards her where then slashed it in half as it flew at her.

Breathing out, Hish relaxed her stance and deactivated her saber looking at the destroyed droids around her. Hish gave herself a small pat on the back as a job well done, while she did an excellent job she could still improve upon her reactions and reflect on different ways of accomplishing the goal. Though she did keep herself from expending too much energy, she also felt like that last one was a bit much as if it had been a sith the plan may have backfired on her as she did stop her assault so as to be able to even do the pull. Deciding to meditate on it, Hishamori sat down and proceeded to relax and think on what she could have done differently.

Note: Any Jedi are welcome to join in on the thread.

Water ran down his shoulders and back as the veteran knight tried to wash off the previous evenings frivolities. Everything was still a blur for Cassus, he just remembers there being quite a lot of drinks at the bar, what followed after was... less clear. The alcohol was finally starting to wear off, and he had remembered that he had a training session with an impressionably young Padawan by the name of Laelynn, apprentice of one of the Generals. There might have been an exuberant amount of cursing at the recollection.

Now, the knight was simply trying to wake up and sober up. He has already downed cups of water and caf trying to flush his system of the alcohol, and taking a long hot shower to sooth his head and body. After he finished his shower, the knight dressed himself in padded robes colored bronze with a dark cloak. Placing his lightsabers upon either side of his hip, the knight left his chambers meeting the young Laelynn at her quarters, knocking on her door. "Laelynn? I am Cassus Lammerai, your master wanted me to help train you while he was on mission. I hope you're ready for training." Was all he would say to Laelynn before he led her to where the training courtyard was. A rather short walk that wouldn't be short enough for the still-buzzed Cassus.

Laelynn was a young Kiffar, barely a teenager, short, with dark hair and relatively pale skin compared to some others. He was curious to see how well she would do today. Laelynn's master had noted that she needed some more practice with the lightsaber and combat, and Cassus thought he could help her with this aspect of training well. After all, he had a few run ins with the Sith, Dark Jedi, Mercenaries, and Pirates. Looking at Laelynn, her small build made him think she'd likely be anything but aggressive. Of course, he might be pleasantly surprised. "Anything I need to know before we get to the training yard and get started?"

Upon entering the training area, Cassus saw a few other Jedi practicing. On one side, a younger Jedi, whom Cassus thought to be a rather new Knight was practicing with some training droids. She was talk, and seemed to be doing well, Cassus smirked but didn't approach. He didn't want to break her focus during a sparring match. Perhaps he could include her in a training match. Taking up a small section of floor, Cassus stopped and looked at the diminutive girl as he drew his lightsaber, his eyes noticing that the other girl had just finished her round and was starting to meditate. Looking back at Laelynn he asked, "If you're ready?"

Hishamori felt a sense of curiosity as she meditated, opening her eyes and looking towards the general area it came from she saw an older knight and a padawan training. Hish having already reflected enough as she was going to get without talking to another about it. Got up and moved to a position so she could better watch the spar between her fellow Jedi, she was curious to how the knight would teach the padawan. Also her master did recommend she obverse other ways her fellow Jedi trained one another.

Settling down and watching, Hish contemplated going over and saying hello, but then that would not only be rude it would also interrupt the training session and she had no desire to cause problems for the young padawan.

There had been no previous night drinking for her, at least not this time. Amaarla, however, had been up with the sun, before its light had crested over the mountains that the temple was nestled into. It was then that her routine of meditation and general exercise happened along with a refreshing breakfast and clean up. There was something comfortable to her in that routine; something in it that helped her to feel centered, rejuvinated and ready for another day no matter what it brought. It was some time after all that that the Togruta Jedi appeared at the top of one of the sets of stairs that lead down into the courtyard.

Amaarla stood there for several long moments as she took in the warmth of the morning sun on her deep purple colored skin. She had closed her eyes, focusing on her other senses, in those moments and then finally opened them; green orbs that contrasted vibrantly with her skin. As she scanned the area below, she spotted a familiar face almost immediately; Cassus. The sight of him caused a smile to tug at the corners of her lips and she began to move down the stairs to get a closer look. It appeared that her old friend was in the process of working with one of the Padawans; apprenticed to one of the Generals if she remembered correctly. The Togruta also noted as she moved that Cassus had already began to draw attention.

The Togruta came to a stop not far from Hishamori, her arms folding across her chest casually. It was not often she got to observe Cassus training another Jedi. Briefly, she glanced over at Hishamori and offered her a smile before her green eyes settled on Cassus once more.

Dux Teraan had never liked getting up before dawn, but today he had been asked to lend a hand repairing the training droids to ensure that the Jedi Knights stopping by Tython in between missions wouldn't neglect their morning workout. While the Padawan Learner was quite the mechanic, some even said he was the best in the Order, fixing training droids wasn't his forte. Most Jedi Knights were generally overdoing it during practice, especially the newly knighted ones who felt they still had something to prove. Today was no different, some droids had been completely torn apart.

One Jedi in particular, Hishamori, was especially destructive.

“Great, just great…” Dux muttered for himself. “Does she even know someone has to fix them up when she is done? He added a bit louder than expected. Truth be told, he was a bit jealous. He was not as good a duelist as she was and he would never have been able to fight the way the young Jedi just had. She was so gracious: it seemed like every little movement her arms and her legs had made had been calculated, choreographed.

Dux quickly cleaned the training ground before another knight and some Padawan he had already met approached to have their turn. He would spend the next few hours restoring the droids that had been left in poor condition… or so he had thought.

Hishamori glanced towards another knight as she also decided to watch on the current spar between a knight and padawan. Hishamori wasn't the greatest with names but she was sure she recognized the Togruta female, who if she remembered correctly was named... Amaar something.. 'Amaarla' she thought finally remembering the last part of the name, well at least it was close. Nodding in greeting to to Amaarla, Hish turned her attention back to the spar but before she could she watched as a padawan came down and stared at the destruction that were originally 6 training droids.

Hishamori had to almost resist rolling her eyes a small bit from the grumblings coming from the padawan who was in the process of cleaning up and doing his best to repair the droids that she destroyed not too long ago. The sad thing was Hish could make out what he was saying and could only sigh a bit before deciding to put the whole thing to the back of her mind and focus once again back to the spar.

Lael was always up at the same time every morning. It was habit. Ingrained at this point. Every morning, she'd bathe, dress in her blue and gray overtunic, undertunic, and leggings, before she settled down on a mat in her room for her meditation. She was just finishing when a knock sounded on her door. Getting up, she opened the door in her bare feet, to find a Jedi Knight standing at her doorway. She'd nearly forgotten that Marcus had assigned another knight to help continue her training while he was away.

"Jedi Lammerai." She greeted politely with her normal cheery smile. "I'm ready just let me grab my training saber and put on some shoes." She turned back into her room leaving the door ajar. She pulled on her worn boots and grabbed her training saber off her desk, while strapping on her saber to her belt. Never be unprepared. Even on Tython.

As soon as her door was closed, Cassus turned and headed toward the training fields outside with strong and purposeful strides. Unfortunately for the small girl, the knight's height meant she had to jog slightly to keep up. She chuckled a little to herself. That seemed to become more and more common as all of her fellow padawans also grew taller. It was already a common thing between her and her Master. The smile turned a little sad. Master Brax had done the same without realizing it. Stop it Lael.

"MMmmm. No sir. Not that I can think of. Master Marcus was focusing in the Soresu form and Ataru, though touching on the others as well." Because she was so tiny, it was more strategic to fight in a defensive manner in order to wear down a much larger and stronger opponent. Looking up at the Knight beside her, that strategy certainly applied here. Cassus's saber hummed to life in front of her and the girl pressed the button on her own, the green blade coming to life. She moved her feet into a balanced stance her blade held lightly in her right hand and off to the side. "Yes sir. I'm ready."

It was an active morning in the courtyard, more so than some. Amaarla mused over the various goings on even as the spar was about to begin as lightsabers were ignited. Her green eyes only shifted away long enough to focus on the padawan grumbling over the broken droids. A light smirk tugged at her lips as she could hear what he was saying.

"It would seem that your handy work isn't appreciated." The words were spoken as she turned her attention to Hishamori.

It was hard to not notice the group of Jedi that had started to gather around them as they prepared to train. Thought he didn't see her, Cassus could feel the familiar presence of Amaarla standing nearby, and it caused him to smile a little. Looking at Laelynn, he nodded at what she had said to him. "Very well, we'll start off with basic sparring, let's see what you've learned so far from General Marcus!"

Activating a single cyan blade, and making sure it was set to training mode, Cassus brought his lightsaber over his head in a high guard, left foot forward. There was only about a few feet between them, standard starting distance for these sorts of sparring sessions. Drawing in the Force, Cassus focused himself and the let the Force flow through him, and allowed it to guide his motions. Laelynn was much smaller than him, so he'd need to take it into account, but his size would also allow him a reach advantage over her. Pushing off with his back leg, Cassus dropped his lightsaber to his right side, letting the hilt fall to below his waist before sweeping it upwards in a diagonal slash from right to left aimed to hit Lael at her left hit and cut up to her right shoulder.

Vosrik Tanari usually wasn't one for getting up in the mornings, but he found that the best sparring crowd also usually happened to be early risers. The line of thought made much more sense the afternoon before, but not now as Vosrik's alarm spat angrily at him, almost asking to get crushed or thrown. The Knight wisely decided against doing either, but still fumbled around half asleep trying to silence the annoying machine.

Beams of light gracefully stretched into the room, akin to a newborn animal finding the strength in its legs to stand for the first time. Laying in his bed and watching the creeping advance of the sun, Vosrik seriously considered going back to sleep. His bed was so comfortable....but he had practicing to do today, so he rolled off it lazily.

Vosrik entered the training room, immensely pleased to see several other Jedi of varying ranks occupying the expansive area. Colours of all sorts reflected happily off the walls as lightsabers and blaster shots from training droids lit up all around. For the time being, Vosrik was quite content to stand by and watch the others train, including the disgruntled-looking Padawan that was fixing the busted droids. With a casual smirk on his face, he ran a hand through his straight, brown hair and lounged up against the wall. He didn't want to disturb anyone as most seemed preoccupied at the moment, but he was ready to spar if anyone needed a partner.

Hishamori glanced at Amaarla at her comment and shrugged. "I take my spars and training srsly, so if the end result means that while droids were destroyed in the process. If it allows me to effectively combat and defeat a Sith. Then I would think it be a acceptable trade off even if the droids aren't exactly sith." Hishamori had some humor in her voice as she mentioned the droids, but her face stayed the same and her voice was mainly serious in regards to everything else.

Turning her attention back to the spar Hish analyzed the way the knight was going to attack the young padawan. The strike looked decent, but for Hishamori it lacked power. An overhead strike at the same angle would have worked as well and if the padawan didn't either dodge it properly or block it properly they would be either cut down, or thrown onto their back foot. One could say that the over head strike would leave one open to attack, the same could be said of the low ended one, as it took time to bring the saber back up to block an attack coming for someone's upper body and torso. In theory a person could easily just spin the saber around and block the attack that way, but due to the low angle it would be quite an awkward block, and if the strike was a dedicated power blow, it would easily break through such an awkward guard. But Hishamori digressed, every attack had an advantage and disadvantage. It depended on the situation and the overall styles of the combatants on which way of attack and defense would work best. Back to the low ended strike it was easy to block, which in hindsight might be the point and to compensate for the rather small stature of the padawan. It just merely lacked power, and that made it easily block able for Hishamori. The padawan might be a different story though.

Deciding to focus all of her attention back to the spar, Hish wondered what the young padawan would do.

Amaarla nodded in acknowledgement to Hishamori's explanation. "I do understand that." While she would have personally not used the remote droids in such a fashion, each Jedi had their own routines and methods of training to maintain their individual skills. Her green eyes returned to the sparring now that it was getting underway with Cassus' first strike.

Amaarla had a great understanding and familiarity with Cassus' manner of fighting in actual combat and in training. This made his opening move not all that surprising to see. The purple skinned Togruta also was able to discern that Cassus had noticed her being there either by catching sight of her out of the corner of his eye or sensing her in the Force. Her attention was not so focused on the match that she could not see as other Jedi entered the area as they pulled themselves up in the morning.

As Cassus moved forward swinging his blade in a diagonally across her body, she did the simplest move in response. The tiny girl stepped backward to keep the space between them while sweeping her own blade up and across from her right to left in order to parry his swing. As soon as, she'd pushed aside his blade she reversed the motion of her own coming back to slice at his exposed side from front to back while shifting her feet to start to twist around behind him.

As Laelynn parried his block whilst taking a step back and to the side. A smart move on her part, a small girl like her either wanted to hug her opponent or stay well out of their reach. Their blades collided as the Padawan parried his slash at her hip. Using the momentum from the deflection of the Padawan's block, Cassus spun his hilt around, adding his own strength to the spin, activating his second cyan blade and slamming it into Laelynn's riposte, blocking the strike to his front. Stepping his right foot behind his left, Cassus matched the girl's movement, bringing his hilt to his face in a position in front of him, left side tilted downward at an angle so it would intersect the young girl's face and neck as he turned clockwise, bringing the left blade forward into her as she moved around him.

Vosrik overheard Hish state, "I take my sparring and training seriously, so if the end result means that while droids were destroyed in the process. If it allows me to effectively combat and defeat a Sith. Then I would think it be a acceptable trade off even if the droids aren't exactly Sith."

He then commented to Hish while sidling over to also watch the spar between Lael and Cassus, "A good objective for sure, although training droids aren't nearly the same thing as fighting a Sith. I'm one of the unfortunate individuals who've fought a Sith; my brother Shalken and I managed to dispatch him, but it wasn't easy. In my opinion, fighting an opponent with a lightsaber that can think and make unexpected moves is a far better way to prepare. Not to discredit you though, you're doing a great job, and droids are a good way to start."

Hishamori glanced at the knight who decided to throw their own two cents. While the story he told was interesting to a point, that last part Hish considered was not needed. "I normally spar with my master, but sadly she's right now in the medical ward recovering from a massive hangover in celebration over my knighthood." Hish had a look of amusement on her face as she thought about it "I'm glad to see that both you and your brother survived the fight, and won to tell the tale. But that kind of info is not very useful. Being 'unfortunate' to fight a sith I would not consider fighting one to be unfortunate. Rather I'd see it as a challenge to overcome and defeat. Then again, I'm a duelist those kinds of fights are the reasons I became one in the first place." Hish said with a minor shrug "Though I've already fought some sith. of course I had help from my master, so it's not too different from yours. But the difference is from my stand point is I consider it both an honor and a challenge to fight one." Hish said as she looked at the fellow knight. Turning her attention back to the spar, Hish went back to analyzing the fight between the two Jedi. Effectively ending the conversation.

"Oh of course it's a challenge, I agree," Vosrik replied as he also watched the sparring. "I mentioned unfortunate because the master of my brother was tortured and brutally killed by another very powerful Sith the same day, despite facing him with my own Master. Fighting one should never be taken lightly."

The lines on Vosrik's face deepened as he spoke of his rival. There were some horrors in the galaxy that nobody should face, and this was one that he hoped to extinguish one day. Sensing that Hish had no desire to speak to him anymore, Vosrik strode to a nearby window and began practicing Ataru in a serene, fluid manner. His thoughts had turned dangerously dark and he wished to find solace in the light of Tython's sun as it streamed through the window.

His emerald lightsabers hummed happily in the light as Vosrik spun them around and slashed at an imaginary foe. He followed up with a jumping kick, almost floating as he imbued his movements with the Force.
