"How incredibly cocky" she shook her head, letting out a little sigh. "But you're right. I mean it's an important skill and they should learn from the best" she quipped back, reached for one of his hands and sympathetically patting it.

She did immediately follow his thought experiments, picturing herself at his side right in the middle of the beautiful, rural countryside in a lovely house by a creek. It was a severe contrast to what their lives looked like at the moment, but it was a beautiful image, actually.

"Hmm...". A genuine, warm smile tugged at her lips as she leaned back. "Could you picture me working on fields?" it did make her chuckle. She had absolutely no experience with such works, but the thought was interesting. Their unbound loyalties obviously prevented them from just leaving and resettling and also, but painting a picture of a whole different life could be a fun thing to do.

The conversation then shifted away from the potential 'what if' and back onto the present where the amazing food drew their attention back to the restaurant issue. "I-". Damn it. He wasn't even wrong. Leaving a man though because his culinary preferences were weird? No, obviously that hadn't been an argument. "You were really lucky that you've been so cute all along..." she muttered quietly, taking another bite.

"I was shocked...disturbed by the restaurant even. But it's been such a fun day and admittedly I do love adventures, so no. But I simply can't get over how you found the food fairly acceptable" she answered his question, still amused by all of this. "But you know what? Next time you're allowed to choose the restaurant again". It was a risk she was willing to take for him, as it was about time they began exploring the new area.

He frowned slightly. "I am not cocky," he replied back. It was hard to be too cocky when he was surrounded by people who could toss him off a cliff with a single thought. He let her pat his hand patronizingly as he eyed her. "I just want the best for the young squires of your Order," he said with a sigh, grin peaking through a moment later.

Could he picture her on the farm? Honestly, it didn't seem like a life she would interested in. "It would certainly be a huge adjustment. I think you would be great, though you might find the life a little boring," he said with a shrug. It certainly didn't involve the everyday violence they were exposed to, but again, he had seen war...a peaceful, boring life seemed more appealing to him now than it did even a few months ago.

He raised an eyebrow. "Oh, is that the only reason you stuck around?" he coyly asked. "Its fine, maybe I'll just explore the city's more interesting food scene by myself. Will leave the other places to visit for when you are with me," he said. He did like weird food; sure, sometimes it was awful, but it was fun to him.

Boring? No, she absolutely didn't think so, but it was hard for her to imagine how life looked there. She had never worked on a field, nor a lot with animals and she was used to traveling around, fighting off cultists all across the galaxy, so it was at least safe to say that it would be a less dangerous life.

"What was your favorite task on the farm?" she asked, very curious about his answer and insights. As she found it relatively hard to imagine, she was always grateful for him sharing his memories. "I don't think something like that would ever get boring...it's simply something completely different" she added with a warm smile, continuing to dig in after.

"Well...no" she admitted softly, a wide smirk on her lips. "Heeeey now! No no no. I need this kind of angst in my life. Will this end in a food poisoning? Will the inside of my dish suddenly move? Will some kind of goo run out? We'll never know before we try..." she sarcastically replied, trying her best not to chuckle and keep a straight face.

Of course she was teasing and she would try new stuff, but she was pretty convinced she'd always prefer 'normal' places. "We'll explore this area together, obviously" she still clarified, amusedly meeting his gaze again. "But one day you'll understand what actual good food is", she still couldn't help but to tease.

He raised an eyebrow, a smile touching the edge of his lips. None of it was particularly fun, rewarding maybe, but rarely fun. He took a sip of water as he thought for a moment. "There is this moment, not every morning, but a lot of mornings, just as you were finishing the early morning chores. The sun would start to come up over the western field, that moment of peace..." he said, his mind going back to place. "Perfect." he said, gaze turning back to her. "...Though that could just be from being delirious from being at four in the morning." he joked.

"You'll understand when you see it..." he promised.

"Its okay to admit you love the thrill of culinary tastes. I won't tell anyone; your reputation is safe with me." he teased, taking another bite of his food.

"Maybe..." he said to Kali's promise of him one day knowing what good food was.

"So, are we going to style this place? Are we going really modern? Maybe a bit more classic? Fun?" he casually asked as he continued eating.

She listened to him happily, visualizing what he explained even without having actually seen the place, but one day she'd be able to compare the images. She was used to getting up early, but maybe not this early, but the way he told his story made her chuckle. "That sounds lovely still".

Sue couldn't wait to see it, but they soon continued their playful banter about their food preferences and restaurants experiences. "What are food places on Spintir like?" she wanted to know, however assuming they weren't really on the countryside and rather in bigger cities anyway.

"How nice of you...", she lastly replied with a smirk before the conversation shifted onto the interior design. "Hmm...Given it's built in a modern way, maybe we just adapt the rest of the furniture and decorations...but not too modern. And fun, absolutely. We can have a little entertainment room in the spare room...". Not just beer pong rematches, but another round of slingshot training was imaginable.

"With not too modern I still mean comfortable, not so sterile. Do you have any specific ideas?", while they continued chatting, they soon finished their plates and Kalique was indeed very pleased with her meal.

"Well, in Reles, you can find what you would in many other capital cities, I'd imagine. You would love the open-air bazaar there, though. People sell all sorts of things there. Outside of the city..." he said thinking. They had never really gone places to eat. "..a lot of more modest places. Simple, yet really good food.." he said, thinking about his own mother's cooking.

He listened as she gave a fairly middle-of-the-road answer, nodding along to her words. He was certainly more of a comfort-over-looks guy, having pretty simple tastes, but he could work with a toned-back modern as long as it was comfortable.

Jon took the last of bites of his meal, sliding the plate away from him slightly. It had been a great meal, though he thought he might hold off on the restaurant's praises too much to keep her ego in check a bit. "Yeah, I have some ideas on layouts..." he said. "Once we get somewhere, I can write them down for you," he said excitedly. He had been pushing around different ideas all day in his head.

"You ready?" he asked after they had settled the bill.

She curiously kept on listening, obviously having looked up images of the capital and so on, but it was nothing compared to a first hand account. "That sounds absolutely amazing" she agreed with a warm smile, adding, "You definitely have to take me to your favorite place there". Knowing him, he definitely had one. One, he visited every now and then. He was a man of habits after all.

"Of course you have" she couldn't help but to reply amusedly. He was a planner, even worse than her, so it didn't surprise her at all. "Looking forward to it!". It was nice to see that he had already put a lot of thought into it, too, and she was excited to brainstorm.

They finished up and paid before she nodded, following him outside back into the fresh evening air. "So that's a big plus. We already know one great place" she gave him another smile, intertwining her fingers with him. "Do you want to head back?" she then asked, wondering whether he was still in the mood for another walk or turn in, put something on to watch and plan while at it.

"Yeah, yeah.." he sighed, nudging her slightly as they stepped back out in the night air. "You did good, I'll give you that." he said as her fingers slid between his.

Jon let out a breath of air. "No, I want to walk around some more..." he said, looking up and down the street. "...But, I have early morning inspections. I should probably head back," he said, a hint of disappointment in his voice.

They still had a pleasant walk back through the park on their way back to the speeder. It was the perfect wind down to the day. He did look forward to relaxing some with her after their long day.

"I think we did good..." he said again, feeling even more confident about their choice now that they had seen the area a bit more. It was certainly different, but different in a good way. "To think, we almost did the responsible thing and went and looked at a bunch of apartments and weighed our options....pretty silly, huh?" he smiled.

As he mentioned staying out, she started a nod, however he immediately corrected his statement which made her respond with a smirk. "How early are we taking? I've got to be in the hq around 7, so that's not too bad" he was probably due earlier, but she didn't mind as she could start some cardio early on then.

"I'm so going go enjoy crossing this park every now and then" she replied as they crossed it once again. There weren't many more people around, but the little lanterns illuminated just the right spots, creating a magical image. Their walk back to the speeder wasn't long, but it was really nice to see the area at night.

"Yeah...unimaginable. I mean it's totally common to just sign the first contract" she joked playfully, however fully certain they had made the right choice. Perhaps there were other good apartments, too, but she was fully satisfied with theirs as it was even more than what they had hoped for and sometimes the first choice was simply the right one. "I'm excited...we've got a move to plan" she softly said to him as they reached the speeder, stopping for a moment and pulling him into a kiss. This was indeed a new chapter and she couldn't have been any happier.
