Caught by surprise, Kahl'l quickly lit the lightsaber to absorb the lightning. He had closed his eyes already, and gathered enough air to last under the dust. He ran to the direction of the lightning. He needn't eyes to see, nor nostrils to smell Rish. Rish's pulsating existence was enough for Kahl'l, to feel his master's whereabouts.

When nearing Rish, Kahl'l threw the ball of sand and blood; aimed at Rish's face. Then Kahl'l, with all his might, stomped to create a wave of sand. The sand wasn't gigantic, but it was tall enough to cover a body. Within a fraction of a second, Kahl'l spun and threw his dagger (leveled with the ball of sand and blood). The ball of sand, then the sand wave, then the dagger. Both the ball of sand and the dagger headed to Rish's head.

All's left is for Rish to either die, or to attack Kahl'l again.

Kahl'l prepared for both.

He knew, if he were to survive, he would have to kill Rish.

((Only stepping in because darkhaert's training was to be delayed, therefore taking this time to transfer to a different faction. Ledo always watches his conquests for months before recruiting them, and this would be the perfect opportunity. Furthermore, no one is being harmed and Rish would believe his goal achieved: all is right with the world! :)))

Oh how wrong he was...

With the flush of waving sand and airborne weaponry, suddenly they blasted up with an intensive massing in balloon effect; like the grains of sand, multiplying in expanding projection - each weapon spread with a dozen mirrored copies as the sand wave heaved its girth three fold in illusion. Within the blasting sand, a swirling storm erupted up to consume the Acolyte; ceasing all his efforts to vanish in the blink of an eye. All projected illusion, as no alignment in actual power would be let loose to be felt by the Crusader.

In immersion like no other capable, or even knowledgeable, the Fallanassi Master of illusion and concealment would not be felt/seen/heard/smelt/or even guessed at; as the sheer power in the act knocked the already weakened Kahl'l unconscious, making it that much easier to move him below notice. And to further succeed absolutely in flawless getaway, a projected Kahl'l would collapse with a still broken arm and dislocated shoulder as well as bleeding cuts and bruises from fallen rock and sand. No matter Rish's reaction, Kahl'l would be consumed by a wave of sand like the limp broken body that he was; but not before allowing a glimpse of his deceased body, eyes connecting with Rish's once before the end.

In summary: senses disoriented, threats multiplied, vision disabled, feelings and connections severed, presence's untraceable, situation believable, and safe departure imminent. Rish would be distracted in his defense against the momentary vision, whilst the actual threats would still be in effect. Either the sand ball would collide with his face and the moment would be cast aside stupefied, or the storm of sand would convince without convincing; his student would be, for all intents and purposes, dead. Even if the Crusader figured deception, there would be no way of following his student's escape. Kahl'l was gone, to be taken by another. A new vision governed a power over this one, of grand design.

The Animus had claimed him...
