To say that Andraste was irritated was an understatement. She was often annoyed these days due to having to juggle between being an Empress and managing a baby. On top of that, Davik once again found himself in hot water. Over the years, the man had grown to become like a father figure to her, but damn did he constantly have a knack for getting into trouble. It had only been a few months since they had patched up the fallout from his hit on the Toasted Twi’lek, and now he went and got himself on the wrong side of the Wook.

Andraste had trained Wook on the Force on several occasions and they had an amicable relationship for the most part. They had risked their lives together to hunt Syresh down, and since then they had met one another on several occasions. She debated several times whether to simply approach him or send a rescue party to nab Davik back to Sith space. In the end, she decided it was worth a shot to simply call him.

A holo of Andraste would crop up if Wook answered her call, and he’d see she was up to here with Davik’s shenanigans. Nevertheless, she managed a faint smile before speaking, “I’ve been informed you have Davik Lorso under your custody,” She began wearily, “This man is of value to me, and I would prefer to have him returned unharmed if you will permit it. I will see to it that he does not continue to be a thorn at your side as he has been. Will you do this for an old friend?”

The Wook saw the call from Andraste come in to the holo-display of the ship he was currently piloting. Which was odd, why would Andraste be calling Davik? Well, of course, Davik had officiated her stupid weddings. Davik was stupid, not her weddings. He needed to not think that as the even odder thing was that the call to Davik's ship (now stolen by Wook) was addressed to him. A sinking feeling in his stomach told him what this call was about. How Andraste even knew what was going on was beyond him. Perhaps Max had blabbed on open channels or one of the slaves had. He sighed and let out a long, pained "huuuuuuuuuuuuuuurh," before answering the call.

For what it was worth, Andraste seemed to be upset at the situation instead of him. This was good because he knew that not everyone was afforded ample opportunity to play nice with Andraste when something she valued was threatened. Why she continued to value Davik other than pure sentiment was beyond him. The Wook closes his eyes and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Uugggh...uughghhhgh raaaaaahhgh, aaaaahnr aaaaahnr aguhwwgggghhh huuguughghg aarrragghuuhw huurh uughguughhhghghghhhgh uuh uggguh." Unharmed...he couldn't even rip an arm out? Man, she was really soft on the guy. Although he supposed Davik might be in for a tongue lashing. " Uuh uughguughhhghghghhhgh huuguughghg uughguughhhghghghhhgh aaaaahnr, huuguughghg raaaaaahhgh raaaaaahhgh uughghhhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh aaaaahnr hnnnhrrhhh raaaaaahhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh." he said to head off any attempt Davik might make to spin a tale about torture after the fact.

He reached under the co-pilot's seat and grabbed a beer he'd picked up at a re-fueling point half-way to Ryloth, and cracked it open. He took a sip while the blue-white swirls of hyperspace danced outside the cockpit window. "Aaahnruh huurh uughguughhhghghghhhgh awwgggghhh? Huurh uughghhhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh?" He'd shoot the shit for a bit and give Davik the news of his release later. Hanging from a metal loop by his handcuffed arms a little longer shouldn't do any harm.

Andraste sighed, “Murdering slaves?” The tone of a hint of rage was unmistakable in her voice. It was no secret that Andraste wasn’t a big fan of slavery of any kind, and to think that Davik played a hand in actually killing them as well irked her quite a bit. She exhaled softly, deciding that she would deal with Davik later. As Wook admitted that Davik had been tossed around a bit, Andraste rubbed her chin for a moment, “On second thought, I don’t mind some injury. As long as he’s alive and can be useful at some point in the future. Don’t put him on life support because that’ll be a pain for you to deliver him and for me to maintain.”

She was about to log off, when she realized he cracked open a beer. Andraste quirked an eyebrow and was genuinely surprised at Wook, but also herself for what she was about to do next. She called a bottle of wine and a glass to herself with the Force. She poured herself a glass and took a sip, “I’m not doing much ass kicking out there, no. I have other people for that now. I’m living the life of those villains you see in Holomovies where they sit around and pet their cats while everyone else runs things for them.”

Andraste disappeared for a moment and then returned with a small baby. The baby perked up at once, making grabby hands towards the projection of Wook, “Instead of a pet, I have this,” She held up the little prince, “Say hello to someone actually smaller than me for once,” The baby was overly ecstatic at seeing Wook and wanted nothing more than to give him a hug, "And what about you? Using your nifty tricks nowadays or still keeping it a secret?" She gave Wook a knowing wink.

The Wook filed the tacit permission for a slap upside the head away. He might just let one of the freed slaves do that. They probably were more deserving of that honor than he was. He took a sip of the beer while Andraste spoke. It was good that they were moving away from the topic of Davik, as we was a little disappointed he wasn't going to have a bbq while the guy got fed to Nem'ro's sarlaac. Ah well, easy come easy go as they said. He had more than enough spoils from the mine raid to buy his contentment despite any setbacks. "Raaaaaahhgh, raaaaaahhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh wuuh huurh huuguughghg uughghhhgh uugggh," he growled in amusement and waved at the baby, having no idea what gender it was. Infants were hard to figure out.

"Uughguughhhghghghhhgh huurh aarrragghuuhw aarrragghuuhw raaaaaahhgh uughghhhgh huuguughghg uughguughhhghghghhhgh. Huuguughghg huurh huuguughghg uuh uughguughhhghghghhhgh huurh uughghhhgh raaaaaahhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh huuguughghg aaahnruh wuuh aaaaahnr huuguughghg. Raaaaaahhgh huurh aarrragghuuhw aguhwwgggghhh awwgggghhh aarrragghuuhw aaaaahnr wrrhwrwwhw," he answered truthfully. It would be nice to just unleash it and ape everything in his path, but he had his own plans and the force-sensitivity being a surprise would no doubt be a huge help for them. And then he could relax like a holo-villain just like Andraste. Except way cooler than her, although he didn't give voice to that opinion. "Huurh aarrragghuuhw wrrhwrwwhw huuguughghg Huuguughghg huuguughghg huurh raaaaaahhgh," he said. Something with bubbling lakes and rivers of lava would be dope, if a bit too hot for his own tastes. Wookiee fur really trapped heat well.
