It had been at least five years since Reuben had been to the local market, it was a large market that covered a majority of the town and often drew in visitors from nearby towns due to the range of stalls, especially varied now that Corellia was under Mandalorian control, from food to weapons, there was nothing out of the question. He had been sent today to get food for dinner while his uncle was working on the farm and his aunt was somewhere else in the market, looking to buy clothes that would actually fit him rather than the oversized shirt and trousers of his Uncle's.

He was browsing a stall with fresh produce when there was a shout which immediately drew his attention and the attention of a few other people around him whose eyes all searched for the source of the noise when it became apparent it was in response to a man who was running towards them. Without a second thought, Reuben tackled the man to the ground as he passed and struggled with him for a moment before pinning his arms to the ground, one of which held something enclosed in his fist.

Crystal had always been told of how amazing Corellia was, supposed to have some of the greatest ship designs in the galaxy, and not too shabby on weapons either. Least, that's what she was told. But as she looked around the wares, it was clear that this wasn't the case. Or she was in the wrong market. Never the less, she came to the conclusion her brothers lied to her, this place was a con man's wet dream. She could feel the odd eye fall upon her, as many gazed upon the hunky of metal attached to her right shoulder, those looks of pity some gave her, believing she was just another victim of war; it made her livid. She had decided against wearing her Mandalorian armor, but still wore her facial jewelry, covering herself in an athletic shirt and a nice pair of pants that fit the hip holster she wore just right.

After spending hours of fruitless searching, the girl decided that there were no good weapons on Corellia, and that the Sith had taken them when they lost the world. Other than the shipyards, she couldn't fathom why anyone would want to come here, there were too many people and most the stuff here was for the cushy office job sort. One merchant did catch her gaze though, it seemed to be a peice of art of a Mandalorian helmet covered in flames, as the Sith emblem burned behind it. She had to have that. "Sir, that painting." She called, stirring the Rodian salesman from his light dozing. Krystal went to retrieve her credits, in the process of asking the man what his price was, when her wallet was snatched rather violently. Turning, she let out a startled shout, before going for her blaster, but the pickpocket has dived into the heart of the market crowd, keeping her from taking a shot. "Thief!" Crystal shouted, running after the man, planning on throttling him once she had hands on him. Pushing and shoving onlookers out of the way, her mind focused on getting revenge on the man who wronged her. She didn't have to rum far however, as she found the thief being pinned by a young man, the bastard was still trying to run, only stopping when Crystal pressed her blaster to the man's head, which brought him to a rather efficient halt. "Thanks for the help." She said, grabbing the thief with her enhanced arm, and dragging him off her helper. "Where's my wallet, cretin?" She asked, slamming her heel on the man's wrist, as a loud 'pop's sounded. Clearly she had broken something, as the man yelped in pain. The Mandalorian was rather furious at having been got like that, so it was unlikely this man was going to get off scott-free. The wallet was tossed at the woman's feet, only then did she let the thief go, though he chose to clutch his wounded hand instead. If Reuben was still on the ground, Krystal would hoist him up with an unusual strength, slapping him on the shoulder with her one good hand "What's your name?" She asked, eyeing the man over, only to find he was rather lacking in being a warrior. The would be thief had tried to slink away, but Crystal stepped on his ankle, pinning it against the stone floor. She just needed to wait for security to arrive, as she paused the conversation to collect her fallen wallet. She was never coming back to this world, not if she could help it.

Reuben pushed himself up and off the man when a woman approached and seemed to take the situation out of his hands, slamming her heel into the man's wrist at which Reuben was visibly shocked at. He looked up, watching the woman as she handled the situation, she had a metal arm and red hair, quite a striking appearance among the mundane looking locals. It didn't take a lot for him to realise that this woman was probably a Mandalorian which was further proven by her willingness to engage in violence with a stranger in what was usually an uneventful town - at least it was before the Mandalorians came.

The relationship between the Jedi and Mandalorians was complex to say the least given that the Mandalorians were once accomplished Jedi killers but luckily there was nothing about him which identified him as a Jedi and his lightsaber was back at the house, while he usually carried it on him, albeit concealed, he felt considerably safer on his home planet and felt that bringing a lightsaber everywhere was not necessary. The planet being under Mandalorian control wasn't ideal but it since they too were enemies of the Sith then it would protect his remaining family from his mother as no Sith would dare try and set foot on a planet controlled by Mandalorians.

He was suddenly hoisted to his feet by a surprising amount of strength from the young woman. "I'm uh..." He trailed off as he watched as she stood on the man's ankle as he tried to get away but said nothing about it, knowing better than to pick a fight with a Mandalorian or give himself away for what he was, especially with so many eyes on them. "Reuben." He replied finally with an awkward smile, feeling uncomfortable with the man being attacked so violently. "Who are you?" He returned.

"Crystal." She replied, smirking at the man, as she could tell he felt a tad intimidated by her. She couldn't blame him, he probably thought she was coming after him as well. It wasn't too long before the security forces showed up to take the man away, as Crystal stood with the man who had saved her measly savings. "So, Reuben huh?" She asked, turning to face him now. She gave him a look, clearly he was an honorable being, stopping a criminal and all, so she thought she'd ask; no harm no foul after all.

"Know any good weapon shops around here? My brothers told me they had good stock here, but I've hardly seen anything worth scrapping personally."
She confessed, shoving her wallet back in her pocket, sliding her rather hefty blaster into her hip holster. She was hoping he would some place worth spending money on weapons around here, other wise what was the point?

"Oh nice name." He remarked casually. "Yeah, Reuben Azari." He confirmed, slightly weary of the woman, worrying that she could see would see through him and realise his Jedi status but no, that fear was irrational, there was nothing to link him to the Jedi on his person, for all she knew he was just another local and to some extent- he was. "Yeah, I don't tend to buy any myself but I imagine you do." He replied, implying that he could tell she was a Mandalorian.

"Come with me." He offered, leading her down an alley between houses and into a smaller square of the market where the stalls were lined with weapons, ship and machine parts and other bits and bobs which was a lot quieter than the main streets of the market but after years of coming here he had come to know the whole layout by heart, as had some other locals who were milling about. He didn't know the stall owners here like the ones in the main square and he couldn't offer much advice on weapons. "There are some stalls here but I know about some more on the outskirts if there isn't anything here that you're looking for."

Crystal was pretty relieved needless to say, as Reuben seemed to know what she was after. She couldn't tell if he was just nervous from her violent display, or if it was something else, but she paid it little mind. She was getting gear, who cared if some timid non Mando was nervous around her? "Lead on then." Crystal said, patting the man on the back, wanting him to her underway. The Mandalorian kept her senses about her however, as the man lead her down allies, her hand resting on her blaster, just in case Reuben was a snake.

There was some sort if back ally market they were going through, which did little to alleviate Crystal's concerns. She decided to make small talk, wanting to convince herself she wasn't making a mistake, and to keep her guide amused. "So, you born here or something? You seem to know your way around pretty good. My homeworld was a fair bit smaller, even smaller since the Sith blew it to hell." She commented, as if planetary bombardment was normal.

Reuben had to admit that this part of the market seemed a little shifty but from what he had heard it was a decent place to get weapons from, he could sense the tension from Crystal but he was confident that it was pretty safe despite the less-than-reputable impression it was giving but he didn't want to seem too intune with her feelings less he give away his force sensitivity. "Don't worry, it's safe." He reassured her coolly, he had never heard of any incidents happening so far and the chances that they would get involved in one now were slim.

"Yeah, I was born in Coronet and now I live on a farm not far from here." He lead her to one of the stalls and picked up one of the guns, intrigued by it rather than intending to buy it. "Where are you from? Mandalore?" He guessed, though he was slightly bitter about the Mandalorian control of Corellia, he didn't show it, besides it wasn't like it was directly this woman's fault, he would treat her as he treated anyone else.

Crystal only gave the man a raised eyebrow, as she would be the to determine if it was safe or not. Then she realized Reuben wasn't armed at all, which made her feel just a tad better about her surroundings. "Woman has to keep her guard up when a stranger takes her around an alley, so I'm sure you understand my caution." She commented, as she was about the same height as her escort, though she was more than certain she could take him; one good nipple twist and he'd be down for the count. She didn't understand the idea of hiding your good gear behind all these alleys and back doors, why wasn't this stuff up for sale in the markets? Crystal couldn't wrap her brain around it, she just assumed it was some snowflake parents worried their kids would accidentally buy a blaster or something. They never had issues like that on Mandalore, maybe once they burned the Empire down to the ground they could fix that.

Reuben asked where she was from, to which the Mandalorian woman's shoulders rolled, as she felt only the slightest bit of discomfort mentioning it. "Medriaas." She said, resting her hand back on her grip. She was used to the sad glanced and the 'oh' looks that sort of thing got, which did more to piss her off than anything. She didn't need pity after all, she had more of that back home and that did jack shit. She kept her lips shut about Mandalore, last thing people needed to know was how hard they had been hit by the Sith. "I miss my old farm, ma' and pa' had a nice set up out in the country. Shame we never got it back together after the Sith incident." She lamented, casting several glances at some of the unusal goods the pair encountered.

"Yeah of course, besides, it isn't always as safe as it used to be." Being under the control of the Mandalorians did offer certain protection from the Sith to an extent but it also meant they were dragged into the war between the two groups. He hoped one day they would be free from the control of the Mandalorians but until then they would have to make do with what they had- though it was clear that the reputation and history of the Mandalorians preceded them, especially on Corellia, a planet which was known for rising up against most established governments.

He didn't know much about Medriaas but assumed it must've had similar flora and fauna to Corellia to some extent and she mentioned being from a farm too. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." He said when she mentioned the 'Sith incident', being able to relate to the pain and devastation that the Sith could cause. It seemed that despite their vast opposing histories they had some things in common, an enemy for one, and he had to admit he was intrigued by her, having never actually engaged in conversation with a Mandalorian before. "What exactly are you looking for?" He asked idly as he browsed the other goods.

"It'll get better in time. Just give the Mandos a few months, it'll be better than ever." She replied, drumming her digits against the grip of the blaster, as they kept moving on. How far was this place anyways? The war had taken a toll on alot of folks, but Crystal knew that the Mandalorian's were the best equipped to ride this out. After all, they had been through worse. Whatever Corellia thought of them now, it would change in time, maybe they just needed to off some criminals, punish a few corrupt officials, and things would be fit as a fiddle, Mando justice style. Corellia could use a bit of that there justice it seemed.

"Everyone is. Save me the sob story, please. I have enough it on a daily basis." The red head grumbled, a little relieved the boy kept his apology short and brief, though she was a tad curious about that nasty mark over his eye. Maybe he suffered from some Sith too, it seemed like everyone had in one way or another. Reuben asked what she was looking for, to which she replied. "I just need something nice and solid for this arm of mine." She said, slapping her metal arm, giving a 'clang' as she did so. "Something nice and heavy, but all I see are second hand blasters and guns that would make my ma' slap me if I brought it home." She would look over the wares with the young man, but it wasn't long before her curiosity got the best of her. "So, what happened to your eye? And don't say you got it from playing with a lightsaber, that stuff isn't funny anymore." Crystal stated, before ignoring the things she was seeing; maybe she needed a built in weapon for her arm, now that would be bad ass. She was wanting to know about that scar, not many people walked away from injuries like that, and it looked pretty damn fresh too.

"Yeah, maybe." He replied, willing to give the Mandalorians a chance, though he doubted they would be better under their rule than the rule of the Galactic Alliance, though that might have been because of the unfavourable opinion of Mandalorians that many people here had. One thing he knew was that they would have a hard time convincing some Corellians to accept the Mandalorian control and Corellians were certainly not adverse to rebelling, on the other hand there were many who didn't care, as long as the planet could stay at peace and was not oppressed then it didn't bother them, Reuben was unsure where he stood on the matter.

"Oh, no, sorry, I wasn't trying to pity you, I just understand how you feel."
He tried to correct himself when he realised he may have irritated her. When he noticed her looking at his eye, he looked away from her gaze, self-conscious about his injury. He knew he would quickly have to come up with an excuse when she inevitably asked about it. "We can try a couple of stalls I know closer to the outskirts of town, if you want? It's a bit less dodgy and most people are in the centre so we should avoid the crowds." He offered since there didn't seem to be anything of value here, not that he knew much about it- clearly.

"Oh um... I was visiting family on Coruscant and got on the wrong side of a pirate with a stolen lightsaber after a few drinks, not my finest moment." He hoped he was convincing enough for her to not question it, especially as he had created such an unnecessarily deep lie but it wasn't like he could very well tell her he got it during a duel with a Sith.

She could sense the boy's hesitation, he didn't quite believe what she was saying, and that was alright, she couldn't blame him. In time he'd see things were better with Mandos in charge, they all did sooner or later. Or they died. Hopefully it didn't come to that for this one. "You'll see. Check out other Mandalorian planets when you get the chance, they make this place look like a dump. None of this fancy skyscraper nonsense you have here." She mentioned, gesturing to the overcrowded skies. How the hell did people get anything done with all that buzzing anyhow? People were weird.

She rolled her eyes at Reuben's apology, just another citizen wanting to avoid a black eye. Fortunatly Crystal was past that phase in her life, it wasn't needed, and frankly the man had helped her so it wasn't deserved either. She just dealt with the 'my bad' or 'I feel for you' comments, everyone loved throwing those at her, but not everyone had watched their brother and father be glassed and lose an arm in the process, now did they? Anyways, she was over it. "Everyone does, until they don't." She replied casually, not wanting to drag that conversation on any longer. Her dad had always said that, about people saying they understood, and it was so damn true. Never stopped being true neither. "Eh, frankly I don't think they have anything good on this world anyways. Thanks for the try though, er, Reuben." She recovered quickly trying to recall the man's name. "Don't you have better things to do anyways than escort me around? Though, I did kinda ask you for help didn't I." She answered her own question, not ready to lose the man just yet, he could entertain her a moment longer.

She paused and eyed him carefully as he gave probably the lamest excuse ever for a scar, a drunken pirate, really? And what the hell was he doing on Coruscant? Unless his family was Sith. The curious look turned into a glare, as Crystal began sizing him up. Was she looking at an Imperial toadie? "Coruscant, really now? And a pirate with a stolen lightsaber did that to your face?" She asked, putting her robotic hand on his shoulder, firmly squeezing it. She patted him twice, understanding that he hadn't gotten over the trauma. He was too soft looking to be a toadie, and that face screamed victim. Damn Sith. "Hey, don't let it get to you, and never be afraid to tell people the truth about the Sith, alright? The Sith are assholes. All of them, you see one next time, shoot him in the balls, that's assuming he has any." She smirked, letting go of the man's shoulder. "Lucky you didn't lose that eye, though I bet you can't see too good out of it. Ever think about an implant?" She asked, starting to wonder what sort of implants they offered here. Maybe she'd drag the boy around a little longer, she needed a guide after all, and he seemed alright at it.

"Yeah, well it's home to us." He said in attempt to defend Corellia. Surely she would understand that most people didn't appreciate great changes being made to their home and way of life, though they hadn't experienced much of that yet and could hopefully get back under the Galactic Alliance's control before they did. But his bitterness wasn't directed at Crystal, he couldn't blame her for her upbringing any more than he could blame anyone else and he didn't know her nearly well enough to judge her so negatively so soon.

Reuben could imagine how she saw him, a civilian under the rule of her people, it felt strange and unnatural but it was better this way, he did his best to hide the fact he was a Jedi in most situations except for missions since you never knew when you could be put in unnecessary danger. He could tell she didn't want to draw out the conversation about her past any longer and so let her change the topic. He kept his composure despite the slight insults towards his planet that she had been giving. "Not really." He shrugged. "Cook dinner."

Immediately, he knew he had made a mistake but played it cool, knowing that if he showed any change in expression then he would definitely give himself away but for the moment there was still a chance she would believe his lie. "Oh yeah, Sith are assholes." He agreed, hoping he would gain some credibility with Crystal if he told her what she wanted her to hear, but also... she wasn't wrong. "Yeah, I haven't been able to see out of it since." He replied. "Yeah but it won't be the same so I don't know..." He hadn't given much thought to having an implant, the Jedi hadn't suggested it to him and he wouldn't even know how to go about it.

He gestured for her to follow him as he led her back the way they came through the alley and onto the main street, it was getting to be late afternoon by now."Where are you staying? If you're staying here that is." He asked the Mandalorian.

It was normal for people to get defensive about their homes, Crystal didn't blame Reuben for his comment. She understood the struggle all to well. If the same had happened to her home, she'd be just as upset. So she didn't say anything, only nodded in agreement. Home was home, even if it wasn't the way you remember it. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but better now than later in her eyes.

Reuben was right, she did view him as a civilian, a helpful one at that, but nothing more nothing less. He was a dime a dozen. Well, actually a quarter in a dozen, he helped her after all. He had nothing to fear, if anything he was safer with her than anything, a tall woman like her armed with a blaster and cybernetic arm? Who'd want to tango with that? Not many. He mentioned he only planned on cooking dinner, nothing else major, which made her wonder what he did for work. Then she remembered he lived on a farm; what sort of farms did they have here anyways? "Really? Don't have a girl to go shag or a fight to watch?" She asked, giving him a friendly nudge, trying to show she wasn't all that bad; for a Mando after all.

He mentioned not being able to see out of it, and how it wouldn't be the same. She could agree with that, she felt the same when she lost her arm, but in time you learned to get over it. "My mom thought the same thing when she went blind. Now she has better eyes than me or my three brothers combined. You think she was bad before about finding stuff, imagine now when she doesn't have to worry about cataracts." Crystal snickered, trying to find the humor in what was actually a terrible moment in their life. That sort of thing wasn't easy, losing a part of yourself like that was hard. "Just don't let it get to you, if you want to do it, but don't let people pressure you into it." She advised, not wanting to press the boy on such a hard topic. She had almost gone without the arm replacement way back when, but only stopped when she realized how limited she would be in a fight. She couldn't allow for that.

Reuben waved her on, seeing that their shopping seemed to be done, when he hit here with a question she hadn't exactly thought about. "Staying? I...didn't really plan on staying. I guess I can crash in my bunk on the shuttle." She stumbled, before remembering she was dropped off by her brothers. They never told her when they were going to be back... Crystal took on a Bantha in the headlights look, as she realized her dilemma. "Actually, I don't have a place to stay. At all." She confessed, looking away and rubbing the back of her head. How the hell did she even function at times?

Crystal didn't seem to live up to all his expectations of Mandalorians but in a good way, she had been friendly and not hostile outside the limits of what some people would consider acceptable and hadn't threatened him for no reason which was always a good sign and her ability to empathise with his comment made him wonder if perhaps the Mandalorians wouldn't be so bad for Corellia after all... only time would tell.

She knew exactly what he wanted her to know, nothing more, nothing less and he would keep it that way, knowing that otherwise he could potentially be putting himself at risk, though now the worst of it was over it should be plain sailing from here if she bought his story about the scar. He shot her a sideways glance with a raised eyebrow. "Who do you take me for?" He asked inquisitively. Ah how Mandalorians were so very... direct.

Reuben smiled when Crystal mentioned what had happened with her mother, not because he found it funny but because it was nice to see her smile and have optimism, a rare virtue in this day and age. He had struggled so far to talk about his life without some kind of bitterness and didn't even try to look on his past in a positive light, in his mind it was something to be buried far from feelings and to avoid being talked about, there was no point in bringing up all that pain again. "Yeah, thanks." He smiled, surprised at how nice she was being, not that Mandalorians couldn't be nice, he just wasn't expecting such a pleasant interaction with one.

When Crystal mentioned not having anywhere to stay, Reuben hesitated, quickly running through in his head what his aunt and uncle might think if they found a Mandalorian in their house... although given their shared hatred of the Sith it didn't seem like it would be a problem should it come to it. "You can stay with me if you want? We have a spare bed." He was a sucker for anyone who showed kindness towards him and felt it was only right to return the favour.

Crystal looked a bit confused as Reuben asked who she took him for. That was sort of a stupid question, but alright. "You seemed like the working sort, the guy who gets up at the crack of down and hits the hay just as the moon starts rising. Sorry if I had to pegged wrong." She said, sensing that she might have stepped on a toe or two. It happened, Mandalorian's weren't known for their social graces. Most guys in his age group did that sort of thing, least she thought they did; that's what her brothers were doing most the time, how she didn't have any nieces of nephew's she didn't want to know.

He seemed to be taking to her rather well, which frankly was surprising, usually people were intimidated, what with the clan tats, the robot arm, the scars, and the war trauma...it didn't exactly make her the crowd pleaser. It was a change of pace for sure. He was alright too, for a civilian, least could take a joke without wanting to throw fists; not like he'd have a chance or anything, though she'd be flattered if he did. Even the story about her mom got a chuckle out of him, the last guy she told that too ran away, so there was certainly some improvement.

When she confessed that she had no where to sleep, she was already trying to plan staying at an inn or hotel. There were other options for that, but she detested the idea of getting violent just to have a good bed, she'd sleep on the streets rather than do that; her daddy didn't raise no savage after all. She was frankly taken aback when Reuben offered her the bed at his house, as her face twitched with uncertainty, part of her telling her to decline, while the other told her to just take the offer. "Are...you sure, I'm not exactly easy to accommodate." She confessed, unable to meet the man in the eyes. She felt ashamed for having to do this, and part of her was hoping he'd say no. He'd help her twice today, compared to her zero. This wasn't exactly a fair score they were keeping at the moment. She'd have to find some way of paying Reuben back.

It was almost comical that Crystal didn't really know who he was so she wouldn't really know how far off her predictions were but he agreed with them anyway for the sake of argument. "Well, yeah, you must know all about working on a farm though, right?" He tried to deflect some of the attention from himself and back at her, maybe their shared background would be something they could relate to.

Although Crystal was rather intimidating in appearance and seemed to stand out a mile among the civilians here, Reuben was hardly fazed by her appearance, after all he had faced off Sith before who were far more intimidating and not just in appearance. She was definitely striking but in a good way, a way that would make you want to stare in awe. He had expected it to be harder to get along with a Mandalorian but it was almost like he already knew her and he didn't feel totally uncomfortable in her presence which was a plus.

"Yeah, it's not a problem."
He did genuinely want to help her when she was in need but his mind also wondered if this could come to benefit him later should he need help from Mandalorian in return, though that seemed like it would be very dependent on whether or not he could keep his identity a secret. As they walked closer to the outskirts of the town, the buildings and people became more and more sparse and the ground became more and more green. Reuben led Crystal down a road that lead out of town for a while before walking down a dirt footpath that led off the road, through a clearing in some trees. "The house is a no-Sith zone so you'll fit right in." He joked.

Crystal looked almost offended as Reuben asked the question of working on a farm, of course she knew. It was quiet an unpleasant glare as, as she tilted her head, crossing her arms, giving 'excuse me' sort of vibe. "I do, and speaking from experience we did a hell of alot more than just mill around town and cook. Unless you're the type to have droids do all the hard work for you." She inquired, curious as to what exactly this farm was like. She didn't imagine it was impressive at all, but she'd reserve the judgement until she saw it.

It was nice not to have the whole 'loner' vibe going despite being around regular folk, it was one of the things Crystal hated about leaving her world behind, everywhere else was so weird compared to home. So many short people, and scrawny people too. How did they function? She didn't understand it, that sort of thing would have driven her nuts. Though that was what she got for staying on her world for so long, she would have to get used to this population of wimps, especially if they were going to ruling over them. If wimps were more like Reuben here, maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but that was a big if.

"Are you sure it's not a problem?" Crystal asked again, setting her hands on her hips, wanting to make absolutely sure she wasn't being intrusive. Dragging her feet over this wouldn't solve anything, it was becoming pretty obvious that this was the case. She eventually relented, sides, it'd be nice to stay at a familiar site for once; she'd prefer a farm to that of some apartment or hotel after all. "Alright, lead on then." She gave in, not like she had a backup plan or anything. It took a fair bit of walking, which was nothing for Crystal, but eventually the two left the cityscape behind, coming out into the rolling green hills, as Reuben lead her down a dirt road not all that different from one she trended on her way home. Reuben made a comment about it being a no sith zone, but it took Crystal a moment to realize it was a joke, at which she only smiled and shook her head. "Good, just how I like it. None of them force types within a dozen miles." She stated, curious just what sort of farm that Reuben was living off of any how. A small part of her hoped it was cattle, just like it was back home.

"Oh, no, if only. We can't afford droids." He replied, coolly, unfazed by Crystal who was seemingly offended by his words, he had dealt with a lot words insults and inquiries from a certain Sith. "In fairness, there isn't a whole lot to do once you feed the animals and waiting for plants to grow isn't exactly a chore." He shrugged. The farm was small enough that his aunt and uncle could manage it on their own but big enough that it gave them a reasonable income.

If Crystal were to think of Corellians as weak then she would be sorely mistaken, the planet produced an unusually high number of smugglers and pirates and generally the will of the people was very strong even if all the people themselves weren't up to Mandalorian standards of strong. Though they were generally submissive under their new rulers, if there was something seriously out of place the Mandalorians should expect a backlash.

"No, really it's fine, don't worry." He reassured her. As they came onto the farm the first thing that hit them was the smell, not an overwhelming smell but one that definitely let you know it was a farm with livestock which was confirmed by the animals milling around in fields about the house. "Yeah, me too, no force sensitives..." He agreed sheepishly, wondering for a moment how she would react if she found out about his status, after all she was armed but then again so would he be soon.

They approached the house which looked like it had seen better days and he held the door open for her. Inside was small, they had practically been living on top of each other for the whole time they had lived together, the kitchen and living room seemed to merge into one and there were only three rooms coming off the living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. It was small but cosy, homely even, though cluttered with everything that had been accumulating over the years. He led her to a small bedroom with two single beds in it, one which had clearly been slept in and not made again, though to be fair he hadn't expected guests when he rolled out of bed that morning. "You can stay here and I'll stay on the sofa." He said as he quickly made his bed, slightly embarrassed.

It was nice to hear that there were still some genuine farmers out this far in the galaxy, and here Crystal thought the inner rim was all machines and no heart; well, could still be true, Reuben wasn't exactly a typical civie after all. "We couldn't either, especially if they broke. Pa' used to be good with his hands, but age took it's toll. Not to mention it was alot less fun to let some bucket heads do all the work for you." She commented, trying to find some level of agreement with the younger man. Though she gave him an odd look as he said there wasn't much to do. What sort of ship was he running? There was always something to do. "You must have alot of farmhands then, we never got more than an hour of rest on the farm. Always something needed fixing or wrangling. Occasionally we'd have fun in the summer time, but those were rare moments." She explained, though she doubted he'd agree. Maybe it was just a Mandalorian thing, but she's only know by seeing this place first hand.

Crystal didn't have a high opinon of Corellia in general, for pretty obvious reasons. One of then had stolen her wallet, most of them had terrible weapon productions, and to make matters worse this world looked set up to be an office managers paradise; and she hated office managers. There was time to change those impressions of course, but Crystal doubted that's change any time soon.

Reaching the farm, the Mandalorian cracked a smile, as the smell of live stock hit her nose. She made a beeline for the fences, wanting to see what sort of critters that Reuben kept at the place, though she broke away from that line of thought as not to keep her host waiting. Though as a side effect she had totally missed out on his force user comment. Crystal made a note to herself to ask Reuben if she could tend the animals in the morning, surely that'd be a way to pay him back, not to mention she was feeling a bit homesick.

The house itself was a weather old thing, but it reminded Crystal of home. Though their house was a tad bigger. It was a cozy little thing, which fit the Mandalorian just fine. "Quant little place you got here." She commented, only giving the place a small once over. "So, you live by yourself here? Or have family? Hope they're okay that you brought a girl over." She commented, turning back to Reuben, as she did her best to keep her hands away from her blaster. She was shown to the bed room and correctly guessed which one was Reuben's. She smiled slightly as he rushed to fix the bed, trying to arrange for her to take his bed and for him to sleep on the couch. "That's kind of you, but I'll take the couch, assuming this bed's taken." She commented, gesturing to the empty bed. "I'll be fine. I had to sleep in barn back home, staying on the sofa won't kill me." She stated, crossing her arms as if it was a way to say her decision was final. He'd already been kind to her twice, she wasn't lettting that score get any more lopsided.
