Nar Shaddaa was once the last place you would ever expect to find Giaus, He was republic Lieutenant once always caring for his men, always on the front lines of the fight. Since the fall of the galaxy however he had been forced to pursue other paths to sustainable income, mainly the hunting and killing of wanted scum, and the cultivating a more than average mercenary reputation, the money was good, and for the most part he was happy with his life other than the loss of his sister and his inability to visit his family deep within empire space.
Coming off from a smash and kill job for a hutt with a grudge Giaus and the rest of his team walked off the ship in spaceport of the bright lights district, it was the perfect place to let off some steam and drink away any sorrows you might think you have, a perfect place for a man like Giaus. After he counted his share of the pull Giaus pulled a large metal container out of the cargo hold and tried it over his back. "Figured out a way to get a little extra did we Giaus?" Giaus took a drink out of his water and shrugged his shoulder, "The tub of lard said he would pay extra for one of the cases in the vault we blew coming in, asked me if I wanted to take a crack at it."
"You always get the side missions don't you?" Trip said openly sarcastic to the situation.
"Well when your popular...Stay alive TTrip call me when we have another job worth my time."
"You know it brother just make sure you..." trip stopped as he turned back around to see Giaus gone, "And he's gone."
The bright lights district lived up to its name, full of people trying to get away form it all, full of people trying to make a buck, full of scum, and deep down Giaus hated each and every one of them, these were the people he at one time tried to eradicate from his beloved republic, now they were in many ways his employers. Stopping by the Scurvy Womp rat a bar the rather took a liking too, mainly because it was so quite and Giaus could catch up on his holonet sports. a neon green drink was slid down the table and Giaus gave a nod to the bartender before he took a drink. "How did it go?" the husky Twi'Lek inquired in a deep voice which sounded like he talked directly out of his nose. "I'm here arnt I." The bartender took the hint and returned to his other costumers.
With his glass on his cheek Giaus watched the the multiple screens that showed everything from pod racing to the intergalactic gambling channel but something on the he arena screen caught his eye. A women wearing a mask seemed to be handling quite easily a slew of competitors, her form was perfect she took advantage of everyone of their mistakes, and she looked good doing it. To Giaus it seemed like a dream or a dream of a dream, he had not seen from like that since he has last seen his sister. The moment her face came to his mind the women was knocked down by a huge creature, and in the process his mask was knocked off. there was no mistaking it who that was, the tattoos of their family and tribe where unique no one else would have that combination. "Who is that?" Giaus asked as he pointed to the proper screen looking openly upset. "Oh her that's the Nexu, she won the arena tournament a few months back while you were working, she was real champion this is the only fight she really took a hit." It sent shock and horror for Giaus to see Adonia in such pain and anguish, to see her there panting and bleeding sent Giaus over the edge. Tossing his money on the table he stormed out of the cantina.
Giaus knew what he had to do, but he had to figure out a way to do it, so he decided to get in touch with an old business partner a most than successful cartel member he might be able to sort all of this out. Arriving at Calrissian Hall Giaus was searched at the door, after all of his explosives were removed he made his way straight for the high rollers table. The Two Guards stopped him as he approached, "I'm here to see Jack Tamblyn, I am in know mood to measure dicks with you, so if we could skip to the part where I give you money and you get out of my way that would be great." Giaus said as he tossed a credit case at the mans chest. Stepping by the guards Giaus came to the high rollers table, "Jack...I would have a word, in private if at all possible, you know I wouldn't bother you with something petty, but I need information I know you have or I can buy."
