Swirling, flourishing, and twisting. Kemp had started with both lightsabers pointing down, holding his arms out loosely. From there, he began a twisting of his hips, allowing the one longer and the other shorter blades to dangle as he had learned in the archives. From there, just as he had seen the demonstrations, Kemp tried only one lightsaber; swirling it around in front of his body, twisting his rotating ribcage back, and continuing the swirl back behind him, and so on. Then he tried the other side, before finally attempting a slow version with both simultaniously.
Being a quick learner, as well as already having worked with swords of different kinds, Kemp began to speed up the flow of both "Aegir" and "Volos" in a yellow-blue blur about him like a tornado.
The rhythm of the swirling beams was in a three count, with the first of the three beats being the loudest as each beam made its first forward swing and start of the set of rotations. His arms looked serpent-like, as Kemp eyes himself in the reflector to make sure he was employing all the right muscles and looking the part. Sometimes turning his body as he practiced, Kemp turned to the side to get a profile view of how he was doing and decided to get fancy. Kemp switched the grip of the shoto in his left hand as he rotated it back, getting a stylized mis-step of the rhythmic sounds. Now he right hand kept the same flow of three beats, rotating around in front - to the side - and round in back; while the left shoto simply had two beats out in front from side to side.
Inside this sparring chamber - Kemp marveled at his left lat muscle from underneath his light blue tank top that he normally wore, as his arms tensed forwards. But then, Kemk realized he had company...
