I am deeply disappointed when I logged in and read the related material here. Opposition is not allowed to detail or dictate the defenses or forces of the enemy. I was NOT consulted about the numbers (I technically still haven't been asked about the numbers, excluding this OOC thread); all that was stated was for GABA to "pass it [Prudii's] way". And that's the small offender.

Gaba is not required to join any thread. She can be asked and she can decide, but she cannot be forced, regardless if a sequel thread ICly takes place immediately after the first thread. The fact that the tone in the Conversation was "matter-of-fact" and in no way prior to this thread was GABA asked if she was interested; GABA has yet to accept membership in this new thread, and does not need to. The problem with this thread is it is a blatant attempt to circumvent thread rules in order to force a character out of a no-death thread with participation locks and into a death-enabled gangbang where you dictate the terms of the resources she has available. She was not finished with her thread, and is not required to end it upon your command nor is she required to join the follow-up thread. In honesty, I believe this entire thread should be voided. There is a difference between plotting an ambush and a blatant disregard for etiquette and the rules. This should not be repeated.

I was. Velmor is a backwater world which means the Imperials don't show much interest in it

I read through the defenses and I am in agreement with Dimitri. I thought Boertjie's character went to a small mining town and not an imperial backed fortress. There are enough defenses and troops to defend a fortress and I think its clear there's no intention of actually letting the Jedi involved save her character, just lead all characters involved into a slaughter house

Just to make it a bit more clear.

The reason Anara chose this planet was for it's crystals and relatively small Imperial garrison. If she knew the Sith were here she wouldn't have come. Also if there was a fortress with 1000+ Stormtroopers she definitely would've stayed away. Now please, you are making it way too difficult than I made it out to be. There were NEVER supposed to be so many troopers, that's why the thread was originally death-disabled.

Since Weiss' post was a bit vague on the matter, I am just going to confirm that the new thread will most likely be voided and the participants asked to continue in their respective, original threads. However, I am waiting until some of the thread participants can respond first, since it was fairly late when Weiss posted.

It's safe to say after Anara's capture the scene got out of hand though I am happy to carry on if the garrison defense is dialed down

Also I might be nit picking but why is Vosh's character leading a garrison. No offence to him but even on a backwater planet his quad would have a sergeant or a captain in charge.

I'm in agreement that the fortress was too much, considering that there are plenty of other ways too keep a planet in line that doesn't make it impossible for said participated to be helpless.

So @Prudii Kyramud is my character allowed into the interrogation thread? Since that is the one which we will be using for now?

But @Green Ranger any suggestions as to how we should continue? Or just continuing using the original thread is the best course of action?

Whaaaaale thus far, it looks like the confirmed people are Fail Team Six (aka the Paddies), the captured Paddie, Prudii, Vosh, Sithie Dooood, and Ral and I.

GABA's still pending, I guess? Richie B's wanting in, but I've no idea where his character is supposed to be so...FIK.

EDIT: I would like to point out that Velmor's capital city, Den Velmor, is listed as highly-advanced and not all that small. Would it qualify the numbers that Prudii threw in? Probably not IMHO, but it would qualify a solid garrison of at least a hundred or so Stormies plus the local police force. That's still quite a lot of power to bring against us.

It's also listed as being quite technologically advanced, so there's that going for the Imps too.

PFFT, ask Ral. I have a plan. What OPERATION: PAD THAI TAKEOUT® does is all you guys. I'm not going to meta my character into something.

The situation as it stands now is that your characters don't know Ral and Von are there. Ral and Von do know you guys are around, but it's too dangerous to try and fish around to find you guys right now. We're kinda in the middle of Imp Space.

EDIT: DarthDrakon or w/e. There was a Sithie dood. I'm not crazy.
