-Mos Espa-

Elenelle couldn't believe her luck. Finally a break from all sorts of long hours of studying, rushing to classes, long dull lectures, and tedious tests. She was far from being done with school for sure, but she was more than ready for the field. What better way to practice her skills and knowledge then lending a helping hand to those in need? That was exactly what she had in her thoughts to do, at least that's what she planned to do. Something seemed to pull at her, allowing her to 'sense' that they were landing. Oh how she preferred to be on the ground over a busy spaceship.

Elen gathers up her things and embarks on her journey. The hot sons seared at her flesh but she ignored it and draped a white fine cloth around her head and just enough to protect her face. She looked like a simple traveler though a bit outside her element all things considering. Her movements had purpose and she seemed to know where she was going. The girl would head towards the poorer side of the city near the outskirts. Where the slaves and unfortunate souls gather. Elen would start treating the sick and hurt, asking nothing in return. Unfortunately for the girl, she drew some unwanted attention and was being followed. She could sense them but choose to ignore it. As dangerous as it was for her to be here she was confident they wouldn't act with her surrounded by so many slaves, no one likes to pay for 'damaged goods'.

Jedi Master Kai Sera had heard that there was an interesting situation happening on Mos Espa that might be a good way for his Padawan to get out in the Galaxy and help people. Apparently, there was some news of the hurt and injured gathering in one of the poorer districts of Mos Espa. It would be a good place for Saana and his friend Kheera to practice their skills at healing with the Force. The trip there had been spent with the three learning and practicing the applications of their skills in preparation for their arrival. It was a short trip from the Galactic Evolution, but the time was still well spent. As Kai landed his ship, he looked to the two Padawans. "Well, now we see if you two have learned enough to heal some people in need. Can't get much more Jedi than that!" He smiled to the pair as he led them down the ramp of his freighter and onto the sandy streets of Tatooine.

Leading them towards the poor district, Kai couldn't help but wonder what the pair were thinking. Saana was last here when he met her and they encountered some slavers that were chasing her, and then he took her into Order. And now they were returning to see how well they had progressed. By now, Kai was used to Tatooine, even if he hated the suns and the heat. As they walked through the dusty streets, Kai looked back at the two females. "So, Kheera, is this your first time to Tatooine? Or have you been here before?"

Just as he asked the question, Kai felt something in the Force. It pulled him forward, looking to the girls he frowned. "Do you feel that? I think there's something we need to go see." And with that he headed out keeping his eyes open for whatever it was he was feeling.

She did not expect to be returning to Tatooine so soon after everything, but the promise of honing her skills in healing was more than enough to motivate her. During the trip, she worked on the applications of the skills with one or both of Kheera and Master Kai as she was able to have the opprotunity. Saana was also pleased to see Kheera again, after having saw her last at the beach where she had initially met the winged woman. Though the trip was not long, it felt longer than she wanted it to be ready to do what she could.

Tatooine was not among her favorite places to be; hot, dry and sand that got into everything. It was one of the few times she actually wore shoes or some other foot covering. Saana smiled a bit at Master Kai's remarks, but her attention was on their surroundings. This had been where she had first met Master Kai, learned that she had the potential to be a Jedi. Since that day, she has trained considerably with Master Kai, and others as well, helped others with their own skills and had even gone on missions for the Jedi. Now, they were on another one to help others on Tatooine. It was as Master Kai was inquiring to Kheera if she had been to Tatooine before or not that she had felt a tickling of something in the back of her mind. Saana focused on it more, as her brow furrowed slightly. "I do feel it... What is it?"

Kheera's happy mood was gone as soon as the ship landed on Tatooine. She looked out of the window and saw a dusty street. "Mhhh really? You could've picked any planet, but you choose for the sandy and hot planet?! Kai, whyyy?!" She looked at her friend Kai with over-dramatic eye. Yet she couldn't help to smile a bit after her dramatic puppy eyes. It's not like she hated Tatooine, not at all. She simply hated the heat. The Diathim warped herself in another pair of robes, making sure that her head is fully covered as Diathim's pure skins burned rather quickly. "I think that I've learned enough. Just. I didn't have the best experience after my first heal. I fainted. Used too many of 'em energy and Force in one go. Whoopss!" She threw her hands in the air, as if it wasn't her fault that she passed out.

The Diathim smiled warmly at Kai's Padawan as they walked off the ramp. She was a nice lady and Kheera saw a lot of potential in the young girl. Hm, what was her name again? Saanne? Hm. Kheera shrugged off her thoughts and looked over at the Jedi Councilor. "Well. I've been here before. Not my favorite planet. Don't really like the heat and the dryness, it makes 'em lips crackle up! But it is a beautiful planet, so that's something!" She laughed softly after explaining her feelings about Tatooine. She looked around, noticing the stunning surroundings of the dusty street. It had something old, something rustic, it reminded her slightly of home. It brought calmness in her body, even some sort of peace.

She couldn't stay focussed on the surroundings for too long as an odd feeling sneaked up. It was different from the peaceful and calm feeling Tatooine gave her. The rather odd feeling stopped Kheera in her walking pace and made her look around. A few seconds later, she answered the Jedi Master's question. "Yes. I can feel it. I'm.. not sure what it is though..."

Elenelle had not expected anyone to come mess with her but here they were, a small group of thugs. She kept working on her patient,"take these for the next few days and try to keep on a light diet..." and just as she handed over the prescription, a shot ranged out. It echoed though the streets and her heart froze. Everyone that crowded around her scattered leaving her standing alone in the wake of the small group of trigger happy thugs. Elen tried to keep calm and looks to the thugs,"c-can I help you gentlemen?" despite her efforts it was apparent she was scared.

The thugs look at her and laugh,"well well well... look what we have here. An outsider who can't keep her hands off of other people's property" in reference to the slaves she had just helped. The would surround her with their weapons drawn (there are 5 of them),"Drop your weapons and come quietly scum" the leader would motion with his blaster. Elenelle would let out a slow breath out,"I am unarmed, I am offering medical assistance to these poor souls. After-all, what good are slaves that ca-" the wing-man of the leader smacks her with the rifle knocking her to the ground. They would then proceed to try and take her things. Her focus had been on reasoning with the leader so she had not seen it coming.

Inhaling, Kai kept walking forward, though he let out a chortle at Kheera's fake whining, or perhaps it wasn't so fake, but she did over-dramatize it well. He simply replied, "It'll build character," before moving on, reaching his senses out for whatever it was he had sensed earlier. Nodding, when both of the Padawans acknowledged that they too felt something in the Force, Kai frowned. There was something pulling him in a certain direction, and recognizing this as the guiding Will of the Force, Kai motioned for the two young women to follow him. "I think there's something about to go on over in the slave district." He pointed in the direction which the district in particular was located.

The Jedi Master led the way through the winding dusty streets followed closely by the two Padawans. It only took a minute or two for the three to reach the place where the buildings became simpler, poorer, less maintained. Clearly showing signs of their use. Just as they turned a corner the sound of weapon being discharged rang out through the tight streets. "That way," Kai nearly cried as he took off towards the sounds hoping the two would follow him. Kai turned another corner, then another, and down a long corridor before one more turn before coming to an area where another group of sickly and injured looking slaves had been congregating.

His eyes relayed to him a group of thugs, one of them standing over a young woman with whitish hair with a weapon in his hands. Frowning, Kai looks to his two friends. "Be on your guard." He whispers as he takes a step forward, one hand on his lightsaber. "Hello my good sirs, perhaps you can help me, I'm a bit lost! Do you think you could point me in the direction of a local cantina? I'm looking to charter a flight," Kai smiled, trying to play innocent and naive, but the truth of it he knew what was going on, he was planning on them reacting hostilely and then he would be able to disarm them with the Padawans.

Saana gave Kheera a quick smile, wholely understanding her feelings about Tatooine. But the moment passed as all of their attentions were on that ripple they felt, that one thing that seemed out of place; wrong somehow. The mention of the slaves garnered a frown out of her. "The slave district?" It was another reason she did not favor Tatooine as a place to visit. Slavery was an open and accepted activity. If any one of them were here alone, caught of guard, even they could end up in chains.

As she followed along with Master Kai, and as the appearance of the buildings and people deminished, Saana experienced a range of emotions. It angered her that people could treat other sentients in this way without a care, seeing these people and knowing that she could not help every single one of them made her heart heavy with sadness, it brought her hope that by whatever means they ended up here either by Master Kai's choice or the will of the Force that there was a chance. Twists and turns brought them to where it was they needed to be and the scene that lay before them made her bristle; her head tails twitching. And in that moment, she wondered if this is how it had been the day Master Kai had ran into her. Had he felt drawn, pulled, to where she was? Had he known the entire time? How could she have missed it? It seemed almost obvious now.

As Master Kai began to speak, her gaze left the scen to look first at him and then at Kheera and lastly at their surroundings. Saana then made her decision. It might have been better to stay at Master Kai's side and let him work his way with those men, but there was another narrow alley a couple of steps away. If these men were distracted by the woman on the ground and by Master Kai, then perhaps they would not notice her as she stepped back and slid into that alley or perhaps they would not realize that she was with Master Kai and was simply someone who was smartly avoiding what was about to go down. In truth, she was circling around to eventually come out on the same lane as everyone else, but on the other side so that the woman on the ground would be between her and the thugs. Working in groups as hunters on Shili, this sort of tactic was a common place as there were things they would hunt that were so large that they could only be hunted successfully in a group.

Saana would wait for the thugs to turn and respond to Master Kai before she stepped out from her new position. She had chosen to do this because once shots were fired, and there would undoubtedly be shots fired, she would be able to get to the woman on the ground, Elenelle, and pull her to safety and if any of them chose to continue to threaten Elenelle, she would be closer now to the woman to interfere. She had no doubt that Master Kai, and most likely Kheera, would catch onto what she was doing once they saw her appear.

(My post will be a bit shorter for now, I'm sorry!)

Kheera traded a gentle smile back towards Saana. Saana looked like a sweet girl, especially with that smile and Kheera couldn't wait before she could have light chats with her, perhaps drink some tea! The Diathim then looked over towards her friend. It's the first time that she saw him with such a serious face and it got her a bit nervous. Her once rather joyful friend who could be anything now looked like a Jedi and while it was not a bad thing, she was not used to seeing it.

The Diathim's mind was too busy and jumping from the left to right to notice the range of emotions directly, however, the sadness from the young lady beside her left a burning feeling in Kheera's chest. It wasn't uncommon for Kheera to 'feel' other's emotions, she just blamed it on the Force, but perhaps seeing their faces was enough. She moved a bit closer towards Saana and gave her shoulder a soft pet followed up with a warm smile. After a second, she moved back into her previous spot behind Kai to give Saana some more space.

"That way," her friend almost cried out after they heard the weapons being discharged. That's when the adrenaline rush started. Kheera followed Kai into the streets, the endless corners and corridor. Somewhere at the end of the run, Kheera noticed that Saana ran off to another small and narrow ally. She only caught a glimpse of her before the Togruta disappeared behind one of the many houses. "Mh" Kheera mumbled while running the last couple of miles to catch up with Kai, thinking about what Saana could be doing, but it came quite clear once Kheera sensed the path the girl was taking. Kai was already there, looking at the thugs. She noticed how his focus went towards the woman with whitish hair. She was laying on the ground, with a thug standing over her. The action was about to start.

The thugs weren't use to people standing up to them, which made them a bit more easy,"Oi! You, just back off if you know whats good for ya, this is the wrong place for ya lot!" branding the blaster at Kai. The leader, despite his tough guy attitude, was genuinely confused. His lackey standing over Elen and checking her stuff stops for a moment but dismisses him as harmless as they did out number. The thug would left Elen up by her neck as she started to stir back to conscious,"this little lass would look good in a collar, say she wants to help the slaves, she can join them" as she is lifted Elen lets out a grown. All attention was focused on Kai for the moment, they didn't notice Saana and Kheera.

The leader would start to approach Kai and starts to chuckle, followed by the other three hooligans save the one busy with Elen. They would raise their blasters at him and the leader speaks out again,"but for a modest 'fee' we can show you the way back, drop all your credits and weapons or we'll blast your brains and leave you for the womprats to pick apart" the poor bastards have no idea what they are getting into. His henchmen would let out sly chuckles at what they think is some poor sod's bad luck and their gain. A slave to sell off and some credits, life was looking good for them. The thug struggling with Elen notices the blood leaking from her head,"eh boss, think we hit her a little too hard. Say we leave her to die and shoot that guy." the leader drops his attention from Kai and looks to the henchman,"I give the orders here, next time ya yap I'll blast ya new hole to yap out of" shooting the blaster at Elen and the Thug's feet,"sorry boss" and just stands with Elen in an arm-lock in-case she comes too and tries to struggle.

Sighing, Kai shook his head at the scene. The Thug Leader didn't seem too bright, though that might just have been because Kai didn't look particularly like a Jedi at the moment, and judging by his disposition he either didn't see the Togruta and Diathim, who probably would have also made very lucrative slaves, or they just didn't care. Either way, it was good for Kai as he could see he was being obviously underestimated. The blaster in the thugs' hand didn't worry Kai, he knew his lightsaber would be fast enough to dispatch them all if necessary. Frowning, the Jedi Master watched the scene for a bit before reaching down to grab the pistol he always kept on his hip. "Alright, you win, here's my weapon," he remarked meekly as he drew the weapon slowly and tossed it on the ground before raising his hands over his head and then he started to focus his mind on controlling the Force all around them. "Oh, but one other thing before I grab my wallet. You really shouldn't have said all that."

Then without another word, Kai immediately flexed his hand and used the Force to throw all of the thugs up and back into the air. Quite literally they would be flying for a few seconds before they would slam into the walls or ground. With the reflexes of a Jedi, Kai drew his silver-bladed lightsaber with a snap-hiss and charged the lone thug Kai didn't send flying, the one holding Elen in a grip. "Drop her!" He demanded, Kai trusted the two Padawans to deal with the load of thugs.

This scene was so familiar to her and disgusted Saana no less because of it. The thugs, particularly the leader, were foolishly arrogant. The one that bent to touch Elen, only then to grab her up into a hold as though expecting the woman to wake up and cause a problem, caused her to tense a little. The Togruta wanted to act on him just then, to take him down and remove Elen from the scene. But she did not move. For reasons that she could not fully put into words, she knew the time was not right. Maybe it was because she sensed that Master Kai had something in mind or maybe she instinctively knew that to act on that one thug might inadvertantly result in further harm to Elen. Whatever it was, she waited and watched as the scene unfolded.

A small smirk tugged at her lips. Master Kai was handling these men, and rightfully so in her opinion, just as he had handled those men that had been chasing her. The situation was different, though, as she was there with Master Kai and Kheera to help someone else this time. When Kai finally revealed his hand, as it were, sending out a force push at the group of thugs save for the one, Saana took a step back. Her attention shifted from the one that held Elen, Master Kai headed straight for that one with his lightsaber out, to the leader that had been threatening Master Kai to begin with.

Saana focused on the leader's weapon, and the Force energies around it. She had practiced this many times during training by this point, but it had not been often she had to make use of the ability during a high stress situation such as this. With a movement of her hand, she directs the leader's weapon away, sending it flying down the street until it crashes into a wall and clatters to the ground in the near distance. That was when she moved, the hilt of her lightsaber coming to hand and the blue blade springing to life with the tell-tale sound. This all transpired over the course of a few seconds and then, finally, she was there next to the leader of the thugs, the tip of the lightsaber blade pointed at him; mere inches away.

"Order your people to surrendor and release that woman you attacked."

Kheera rose her eyebrows when she noticed that all the attention went to the Jedi Master, as if the thugs didn't notice her at all. The Diathim decided to use this and hid back behind a trashcan, using her Force Sense to see what's going on. She knew that she would be the fastest when flying in the air and that the thugs wouldn't see this coming, so she kneeled a bit down and spread her wings. It was now waiting for the sign to go in. While waiting, she looked over at her belt and noticed that she lacked any sort of lightsaber. That's 'em awkward... Kheera sighed softly and shook her head. Force only it was.

Not soon after, their sign showed up. The Jedi master moved his hand and send the thugs flying off into the air while charging at the leader himself. Soon after, Saana also made her move and ran towards the leader. Kheera knew what to do and opened her wings widely. With a jump into the air, she flapped with her butterfly wings fast enough to stay into the air, instead of crashing down against the floor. As fast as the Diathim could, she flew over to the thugs who were laying against the walls. Within a few seconds, she crossed the field and ended above the thugs.

She noticed that the half of all the thugs were knocked out, the other half was trying to crawl up, confused and puzzled. The Diathim moved her hand and used the Force to push two thugs down against the floor. "Listen up, stay down and no one will be hurt. In fact, we don't even want to hurt you. So please... listen?" She ended her sentence with a warm and innocent smile, followed up by another hand movement. She targeted most of the thugs weapons and used the Force to grab those blasters. She moved her hands over to the right, making the blasters follow her hand. Her hands began to shiver a bit, as she wasn't the best at grabbing more than two objects. But she managed to drop the blasters into a corner, making the thugs unarmed and rather useless.

The thugs don't know what hit them. One minute they had the upper-hand, then suddenly they were flying and smacking into walls and the ground save one now shocked and shaken thug who does as he is told. Who wants to go up against a light-saber and crash-landings? Then they notice the other saber pointed at their leader's throat, and a third person. The odds look less in their favors. The thug leader stumbles out even though it was clear his lackeys were more than willing to leave their leader and save their own skins,"d-d-do as they say boys..." half of them were scrambling and bumping into each other and trying to get away while a bit dazed and confused, but two of them get pushed back down by Kheera and they stay down not wanting to get sliced to pieces. The thug that held Elen drops her and scurries away and tries to escape,"h-h-hey! D-don't leave me!" the leader calls out to him but he was ignored. The Leader wisely stays down and does as he is told, not wanting his chest to make sweet love to the business end of a light-saber.

Elen lets out a small groan from the ground and reaches to her head,"ack... I think I had a bad dream..." she pauses while tasting sand and blood in her mouth and cracks open her eyes seeing blurs and glowing light. Her extra sensitive ears pick up heavy breathing around her and the hum of a light-saber, a sound she's never heard before,"...it wasn't a dream?" she tries to sit up but collapses again,"ow... next time I should hire bodyguards..." she wasn't sure what was gonna happen now,"I can't see clearly, what do you want with me? I have only helped..." she falls silent as the pain starts to feel unbearable, and the scorching rays felt like she was being cooked alive. Elen keeps her eyes closed and gently tries to feel her damage trying to diagnose herself, which was a challenge,"concussion..." she would mumble to herself.

Seeing the thugs make off once they realized what they were dealing with caused Kai to laugh as he put away his lightsaber. The blade hissed as it retreated back into the silver hilt where it was quickly placed on the master's belt. Looking to the Leader, Kai gripped him with the Force pulling him away from the others where he could do no harm, and putting just enough pressure against his throat that he wouldn't want to try anything. "Get out of here," Kai said sternly, though without raising his voice. "And if I see you around, harassing people again, trying to, what's the term? Get new product? Then a soiled pair of underwear will be the least of your concerns." Motioning for the thug to get out of his sight, Kai looked to the young woman that was nearby.

Walking over to her, Kai extended his hand, "Are you okay?" He asked, she didn't seem to be, and knowing those thugs they probably roughed her up a bit before they got there. Turning to the two Padawans with him he said, "I think she might be a little dazed, wanna see if you two can help her out with your Force abilities? Just let them come naturally to you." Turning back to the girl he said, "My name is Kai, these are my friends Kheera and Saana, we're here to help. What's your name?"

Saana kept her blade readied until Master Kai disengaged his blade and took control of the stammering leader. She felt a little bit of smug satisfaction at how it all had turned out. She had to wonder, though, how many of these thugs would really rethink their lives. Her own blade soon deactivated and she placed the hilt away as Kai made the situation clear to the thug leader, her attention turning to the woman that they had been harrassing.

When Kai introduced her, she gave Elen a light smile and a nod of her head. "Hello." Saana glanced at Kai a moment then and stepped up to Elen's side. When she had first snuck around and seen Elen on the ground, on the other side of one of the thugs, she had seen evidence of Elen's injury; it had appeared she had been struck in the head. The Togruti Jedi lifts a hand a little, giving Elen a questioning look. "May I?" She did not want to touch the woman if Elen did not want to be touched.

<<skipping Lily at her request>>

Elenelle laid there on the ground, everything seemed too bright for her. It was all blurs, muffled voices and a ringing sound in her ears. The world seemed to spin too fast for her as she stayed flat on her back. She closes her eyes and opens them again trying to concentrate but she had such a huge migraine, Elen got hit pretty hard and she was far from the tanky type. She senses the figures moving closer to her and makes out some of the words being heard. She tries to speak slowly and takes it easy,"I am Elenelle, I only had wish to help these poor people with my medical skills... I think I now need those skills for myself, doubt I could stand or walk strait right now..." she winces the pain was hammering into her skull it felt like, she didn't make out Saana's question but she could sense the sincerity emitting off her. The young sephi tries to touch the hand but misses it a few times. one of her white silvery locks was now matted down to her face by her crimson blood. There was obvious blunt force trauma to her forehead near her left temple.

The thugs if allowed would make a hasty escape, scared out of their wits. Soiled undergarments were the last of their worries indeed. They would make their way out of the slave district and going in separate ways. They were no longer an issue at this point. Several of them would rethink their lives but the others would find it hard to change their ways and resort to business as usual after a bit of time laying low.

Kai watched as the thugs made an attempt to escape, those he could still see and sense, he would take the time and effort to project an illusion of a monstrous rancor chasing them through the streets of Tatooine. He'd only keep it up for a few moments until they were all out of sight. The effort to draw and manipulate the Force in such a way was rather exhausting to Kai, and when he was done he had to take a deep breath or two, though that did not prevent the young dark-haired Jedi from cackling mischievously from the terrified screams and shouts of the thugs as they ran. Shaking his head to mentally break out of the fatigue, the Jedi master looked at the platinum-white haired girl as she started to speak, a small, but sad, smile formed across his face as he thought about her words.

"That is a noble deed," Kai said with a tone of courteous appreciation. "Not many people here would want to associate with the poor and downtrodden. Though, I am glad someone cares, it makes this galaxy a brighter place. It's nice to make your acquaintance Elenelle... is there anything we can do for you, help patch up your wound there, perhaps?" Kai said as he leaned in to examine her head trauma. It didn't look too bad, but Kai knew better than to just leave it alone. Looking to Saana, Kai motioned for the Togruta to get to work with her own skills of medicine and the Force. Scanning the area to make sure the group was safe from another gang of thugs or slavers. "Tell me, Elenelle, would you mind if we tagged along with you while you help these people out? Maybe help you and keep you safe from any further gangs?"

When the woman reached for her hand, Saana took it gently as she knelt at Elenelle's side. She was not simply going to let the woman flail around. She gave the hand a light squeeze then before she let it go and opened a pouch on her belt to take out a small medical kit. From it, she removed what she needed to clean the blood from Elenelle and the wound, just to be sure there were no other wounds lurking. When the cleaning was done, she applied and secured in place a small pressure bandage. It would do no good to clean and attend to the wound only for sand from the planet to get in there. When she was finished with that part, the togruta padawan put the kit away.

"You will be alright. Just relax." Saana spoke gently in her accented voice as she placed a hand on Elenelle's forhead lightly; her other hand resting on the woman's hand again. The young Jedi's eyes close as she focuses on the Force and its healing power. Saana centered that focus and directed it on Elenelle to aid her body in accelerating the natural process of repairing itself. For Elenelle, it may feel like a sense of warmth or peace that comes over her as Saana worked

After a few minutes, Elenelle would feel a distinct improvement although the wound was not completely gone. This was not a good place for them to just be around in the street like they were. For now, Saana wanted to do enough to be sure that Elenelle could move, on her own or with assistance, so that they might get to a more safe location. Saana shifted slightly to help her sit up. "How are you feeling?"

Now that she was safe from Thugs and would be slavers she only would manage a gentle smile hearing Kai's words,"Someone has to, if not me then who? I was just about done when all this happened." she finally feels someone grab her hand and a voice telling her to relax. She'd do her best to sit still so that Saana might mend her injury,"thanks," feeling better and more able to move,"My kit..." she'd reach for the considerably larger medical kit than the universal norm,"-is almost low on supplies. I'm training to become a better doctor and on a short recess from my advanced classes, so I decided to come here and provide what care I could to those who can not otherwise receive such or are too poor." she would pat her kit gently,"what good is anything if it can't be used to help those who need it most."

Elen would then try to stand up,"I would not mind the assistance, are you guys some sort of peace keepers or something?" she would strain her eyes looking to each of them. She had completely missed the show of light-sabers and force usage and had never been exposed to Jedi or Sith for that matter. Not to say she hasn't heard tales of them growing up, dismissing them as fiction and treating them no different than like children bed time stories. She'd pat her clothes searching her pockets and then frowns,"I may be here for a while longer yet anyhow! My ticket is missing and what money I had on me..." she lets out a small laugh and shakes her head. Where most people might have been upset or in despair she saw the humor in all of it and wouldn't let this trample her spirit.

"That's a perspective I can appreciate, Elenelle," Kai nodded as she seemed to relax a little while Saana went to work on her wounds. Looking to the rather large medical kit that was sitting on the ground nearby, Kai raised an eyebrow while the young woman remarked about training to become a doctor. "Oh, you're a med student? Well, this is certainly a thing I can appreciate and get behind. You have a wisdom and a compassion that is unfortunately uncommon in this galaxy. If only more people in this universe were like you!" The Jedi Master gave a bit of a chuckle as he shrugged slightly to himself. Saana seemed to have moved on to using the Force to aid in the healing after finishing the basic first aid.

When Elenelle remarked that she wouldn't mind their assistance as she stood, inquiring if they were peacekeepers whilst squinting to get a good look at them, Kai merely laughed again, lightly, and shrugged at her. "I guess you could call us that. We try and use our skills to help and protect people. Kinda like what just happened here. I'm sure Saana wouldn't mind giving you a hand. I believe she grew up to know a bit about medicine and is fairly good at it." Watching as she patted herself down, Kai waited until she spoke again. "Huh, well we can remain here until you're done. We don't have anywhere to be and I'm sure it would be a good learning experience for us. And when you're done, if you'd like I can take you back on our ship!"
