Arcturus had been on the Chiss home planet for some time, and recently he had been invited to the Imperator's Palace, and had just now been admitted into the training chambers where the Ascendant Guard spent it's time... Well, training. He was just doing stretches and such until the Imperator himself showed up, but until then, he might as well do something.

It was only minutes before the Grand Imperator arrived at the Ascendant Guard training chamber. He'd felt the arrival of Arcturus's presence in the Force while meditating, reaching out across the galaxy with his awareness. It was a state of deep concentration and great knowledge, delving into the untold events of the universe. Today, he would be continuing his meditation training with the Sith. He was the apprentice of Oonoo, the Celegian Sith Master whom Dorann was previously partnered with in the Chiss military. Like his master, Arcturus had enlisted in the Chiss Internship Program, dually serving in the Ascendancy's ranks.

Their meeting today was the formal introduction of Arcturus's training as a warrior of the Immortal Order. He would learn to be a shock troop, as they were, unleashing a whirlwind of carnage in the face of battle. "Greetings, Arcturus. It has been some time since we've seen each other. How have you fared since the assault on Homefront?," the Chiss greeted warmly. The acolyte had done well at Seoul V, leading in the surrendering prisoners of war with Caris, another loyalist of the Ascendancy.

Arcturus ceased his warm ups and turned to the Grand Imperator. His eyes were covered again, but even so, facing the person one is bowing to is the polite thing to do. So he bowed. Hello again, Imperator Dorann. I fare well. I have been studying old weapon techniques, mostly. While here, he had been speaking in the Chiss language instead of Basic. Though he couldn't do so very rapidly, his pronunciation was good and his speed was about average. He'd been training with sith forces for quite a while, just not officially like this or anything. One had to pick up the language.

What is to be done today?

Dorann smiled as though a man meeting his nephew for the first time. "You needn't bow, Arcturus. You are a warrior among my people, and a man of honor. Your origins among the Sith may give you disgrace in other places, but not here. Your place in the Imperium is only a testament and fact that you hold power. Hold yourself high among warriors of the Chiss and the Ascendant Guard. In time, you may even be one of them,"" Dorann told him lightly, raising a gentle hand. The Chiss hinted at Arcturus's future standing within the Ascendancy, but only time would tell if this was to come.

"Today, we will continue your training as a shock trooper of the Immortal Order," the Grand Imperator replied, taking a few steps closer. He paced at a slight angle, almost beginning to circle the Sith Acolyte as a student in the training chamber. "However, we will take a different approach than that of your master, Oonoo," Dorann continued. "Your power in the Force is undeniable. What are your skills with telekinetic control through the mind?" he asked Arcturus, wanting to branch from the mental-specific techniques that the Celegian Sith Master trained him with.

Shock Trooper? I like the sound of that. Was his only verbal response, but he also visibly relaxed somewhat.
My use of telekinesis was largely learned through war. I can emit concentrated force, but I usually cannot sustain the effort, since I haven't practiced much with doing so. In truth, he would usually just focus and 'charge up' briefly and then unleash a concentrated swirling mass of force, instead of a sustained barrage or torrent of air. This was more useful on the chaotic battlefields where long-term concentration left one open for being shot by anti-sith snipers, or even regular infantry.

Dorann smiled as Arcturus relaxed at the term. From what the Imperator knew of the Acolyte, of the soon to be Immortal Initiate, Dorann could tell he would be a warrior. He seemed to almost yearn for the heart of battle as he imagined the potential destiny with the Chiss Ascendancy. Arcturus had done well at Seoul V, but that had ended with a peaceful resolution. He could hardly wait until the young Force user had a chance to fully display his true potential.

"Your skill with mental techniques is without question, Arcturus," Dorann replied calmly, raising a hand to interrupt. "I'm familiar with your training with Oonoo. You've already shown what you can do through telepathic bonding and coordination in a battle. I recall at Seoul V, I could sense your thoughts from my flagship. We both recognized a ship's presence in the nearby asteroid field," he told him with a devious smile.

"It was no matter. The ship was not a threat, and there was no need to fully detain them. If anything, if gets the word back to the other survivors. I plan to meet with them soon, if everything goes according to plan. Hopefully, there will be a beneficial result." Dorann diverted his attention back to their training after having reviewed their last battle. Still, the Chiss knew Arcturus was more than familiar with his mental training. Nothing else would be expected of the apprentice to a master telepath.

"There's something I'd like to show you," he continued, taking a step to the side. On the wall of the Ascendant Guard training room, the Imperator approached a closed display case, reaching out his palm to the controls on its front. The glass suddenly faded to a clear glass from the smooth darkness before. Inside were four sets of armor, ranging from the selection of technology reserved for the Immortal Order. "These are the Immortal-Class Dark Trooper Armors," he explained, turning back to the acolyte.

"The first from left to right, is the Light Armor variant, used for those who focus on speed and agility, while able to move around a battlefield fluidly. The second is the classic Immortal-Class Dark Trooper Armor, most commonly used throughout the Immortal Order. It uses a series of systems that focus in telekinetic bursts, ranging from an installed Repulsor Hand and Neuro-Shock Hand in the gauntlets. The lower body incorporates a shock resistant repulsor function in the legs and boots to absorb momentum and kinetic energy. It's most often used for falling or jumping from high distances, but can also be used to distribute more power from a strike with your legs," Dorann suggested, going over the suit's capabilities.

"The next is a more heavy set of the original version, but mostly focuses in providing more power for weaponry systems. The defenses are above average, however the tactical strategise are rather limited. This is most often used for those who want to overwhelm the front lines, but are more generalized in a sense of war," he commented. "The last is a stealth version that is used by the Immortal Manipulators. They are official operatives within CAIN's operations, working as agents in the Specialist Division. These armors are sometimes modified into the original systems, as every model is unique and personalized to the wearer, but the basic systems are always provided," the Imperator finished. He would leave it up to the student to decide what his armor of choice would be.
