A full vault?

Nal Hutta a world full of villainous scum plenty of murder and dead men... such a charming place Marin thought. He was on a mission for his 'organization' he had allready ordered his squad of 4 members into civilian clothing but also told them to pack some serious heat. He was wering his normal armor and had his twin dura stell knifes strapped to his waist. He was approaching his destanation the 'Fat Hutt cantina'. He said into his comlink "Squad stay out of the cantina if things go bad then you can go in but not under any other circumstanc or I'll kill you all my self" he waited a moment before hearing "Yes sir" from his comlink. He had allready set up multiple contingency planes with his squad he hoped he would not need to use them.

Marin walked into the cantina and looked around for his target. He spotted her at the bar. He needed her to help him perform a difficult task. He was ordered by his 'organization' to break into a bank run by a local gang a steal everything to send a message. How ever this was not some common bank or common gang. The bank was about the size of a hurt place and guarded by a great many guards and droids. That's why he needed the zeltron, breaking into banks was not Marin's main skill he preferred stabbing people in the heart. He walked upto the zeltron and sat down beside her. "Hello I'm here on behalf of the Shadow Syndicate. We or more properly I need your help breaking into a bank. You will be given 15% of the total loot" Marin said to the zeltron in a flat emotion less tone.

Herrith hadn't had the best of days.

No jobs had really been out there, so she'd sat in the cantina with a drink for about four hours on her last check.

Oh well. When a man sat next to her, however, and spoke, she perked up.

"Hello I'm here on behalf of the Shadow Syndicate. We or more properly I need your help breaking into a bank. You will be given 15% of the total loot."

The Shadow Syndicate. She'd heard of them. In nightmares. They needed her help to rob a bank? As long as it wasn't Imperial...

"Never heard of 'em. And I'm not very threatening for a robbery, wouldn't you agrer? More like a cute tiger. And if I were to agree, I'll pass on the credits. Shortens my sentence when we get caught. Which I don't doubt."

Herrith turned her head and downed her drink.

 

[krano drall]

This zeltron would be annoying Marin thought. He grabbed one of his blades and faster then a thought he placed it on the table in a menacing way. "I'm going to be frank with you 1 you either help us or 2 you die no one ever refuses the Shadow Syndicate." He said his voice dripping with malice and venom. He let the words sink in for a few seconds before saying "So what will it be zeltron help us break into a little vault were even if your cought we will need to break you out of jail so you stay silent. OR you can get the wrath of a entire syndicate and most likly live only a few days more" after he said this he said into his helmet comms so the zeltron could not hear. "Error code t-23" after a few seconds he heard a "Yes sir". A few seconds after that his 4 squad members walked into the cantina and looked at Marin's area they also made sure to show the rifles strapped to there backs and the pistols to there sides. "Before you make your choice just so you know we are not robing a main bank it is more of a gang run bank. The reason we need your help is the crack the safe."

Herrith's hand only moved an inch as the man slammed his knife onto the table. How unintimidating and generic! When his buddies walked in, she put on a smile of mockery that had disheartened many criminals before this man.

She waited till he finished speaking, then replied.

"So you're threatening me and telling me about an entire crime syndication that I never heard about? Well brix, that's tempting to sell off to another faction."

She paused.

"I'm joking. I'll do it. Just don't get any ideas for future jobs. Cause I'm not interested."

 

[krano drall]

As Marin thought before this Zeltron would be a pain. He stood up and said "Follow me but Rember one thing the reason you have not heard of us is because all our loose ends have been... burned." He picked his knife back up and put it into his seath. He said into his comlink "Squad start phase one of the plan have our back up stand ready just in case things go badly." His squad members walked out of the cantina. Right before Marin did but even though the streets were empty his squad members were no ware to be seen. He check to see if the zeltron was still following him before walking over to a speeder with two seats.

 

[Herrith]

"Follow me, but remember one thing- the reason you have not heard of us is because all our loose ends have been... burned."

"Ooh, so scary and ominous. I feel vaguely threatened."

"Squad, start phase one of the plan. Have our back up stand ready just in case things go badly."

Funny. The syndicate acted almost like a functioning military. Almost. But criminals never stayed organized for long. Coming from an organized criminal, formerly that is.

As they approached a two-seater speeder, Herrith jogged up to it.
"Scattergun!"

She hopped into the passenger seat and waited for the man to follow.

OOC - Scattergun = Shotgun so she's saying 'Shotgun!' but more Star Wars-ey even though shotguns exist. :P

He decided to ignore the zeltron's remark as she would soon see what the Syndicate could do. As he neared the speeder she yelled "Scattergun" and jumped into the passenger seat. He got into the drivers seat and began driving towards the bank. He said to her " The bank we are robbing is what I like to call a gang bank. It is run by gangsters and instead of loans they sell slaves. They are closed today as 'somone' attacked there new transport stealing there slaves and killing all the gangsters inside. We are going in guns blazing shoot who ever is not me or my squad." They arrived at a large building almost like a hutt place. "This is it and looks like the front guards had a little trouble." In front of the bank 3 armored gangsters were piled up by the locked front door dead. Marin's squad now dressed in syndicate armor were standing by the door waiting for Marin and the zeltron.

"The bank we are robbing is what I like to call a gang bank. It is run by gangsters and instead of loans, they sell slaves. They are closed today as 'someone' attacked their new transport stealing the slaves and killing all the gangsters inside. We are going in guns blazing. Shoot who ever is not me or my squad."

Herrith's happiness grew. They were freeing slaves. Finally.
"Are we freeing the slaves inside?"

She left out the 'it better be yes or else...' part of her sentence but left the intonation in her words.

"And who was this someone?"

She had a decent idea of who that could have been, but didn't speculate. Better to act dumb.

It seems the zeltron has a conscious this just keeps getting better and better Marin thought. He said in a cold tone "We may have a issue with freeing the slaves as far as I know they are kept in a sealed off chamber and once we are done we will set a charge that will blow the door in 5 minutes BUT if any slaves see us we will be forced to silence them. Our main goal is extermination of every single gangster in that bank. Also I'm the one who killed the gangsters on that ship it was a form of... warm up for today" Marin know the zeltron would have a issue with this based on her previous remarks but rules were rules and murder was murder. Marin landed the speeder and said to the the zeltron well time to do your thing" he pointed at a digital keypad beside the door. He then told his squad "Breaching formation on that door and Rember the code you mess up and you end upon the ground."

Herrith turned a darker shade of pink when he talked about killing the slaves.
"I see you kill a single slave, I'm going to have a problem. Why? I've been through that living hell before. Don't press that subject, either."

As they approached and the man told her to 'do her thing' on the lock she shrugged. Slicing class was something she'd attended out of fun, but she'd learned a couple new things over the years.

She knelt down by the lock and used a knife to open the panel, then carefully using circuits to bypass systems, one such circuit zapping her finger as it unlocked the door. Herrith winced and stood, turning the vibroknife's power on, it humming quietly.

"Ready."

Knock knock...

She stood back as they breached and would enter last. Blades were her thing, not blasters.

Marin made a mental note to have the slaves killed after the zeltron left, there would be no witnesses. The zeltron finished cracking the lock and the door opened he pulled out his blades and as he charged into the bank with his squad he laughed a manical insane sound that showed how little he cared about human or any race's life. As he charged in with his squad he found 6 gangsters ready for them his squad members shot and killed 3 then ran into cover behind pillars but Marin kept running parrying blasters bolts and when he reached the gangsters he cut the head clean off one of them while kicking the gun out of another. The 3 gangster aimed a shot at his chest ...

 

[Herrith]

Herrith followed as they ran in, then pulled a knife, tossing it at the third thug who was about to shoot Marin, the knife landing in the man's throat.

She pulled a second knife from her left sleeve and ran at the second man, who ducked under her slash at his head then elbowed her in the back of the neck. She rolled onto her back and to the right, avoiding a kick to the face, then snatched her first knife from the dead man's neck at the same time as she stabbed the standing one in the leg, sticking the first knife into his chest and twisting before taking both her knives and turning to Marin.

"I got you in. I'm getting those slaves out of here, unless you need something else? Give me the charge and I'll get them through the back door. No witnesses. No murder. I also saved your life. You're welcome."

 

[krano drall]

How I hate morals Marin thought. "Thank you and I will let you free the slaves as long as they don't see me and my squad" Marin pointed at his squad to move foward and gave the zeltron the charge to blow the door. "After you free the slaves you could come back and help if you want just follow the screams". Marin said with a cruel smile. He then walked off with his squad blades read to end the lives of more gangsters.

 

[Herrith]

"Thank you. And I will let you free the slaves as long as they don't see me and my squad."

Herrith essentially snatched the charge and ran off, skidding to a halt in front of the sealed area. She planted the charge, set it for ten seconds, then ran and slid behind a small utility crate.

Kaboom. The thick door blew, and inside she heard screams and voices.

Herrith peeked inside to find slaves of all kinds and species. She winced.

"Alright, I'm getting you all out of here. There a back entrance?"

They nodded shakily.

"Alright, let's go, then. If you see armed men, avoid them or they'll kill you. Stick close."

She ran off, followed by the small group, anf guided by someone who knew where the backdoor was. They reached it, and she stopped, pulling out credit chips amounting to 500 credits.

"Go to the spaceport. There's a man named Lova. He'll take you in the cargo hold for cheap. This should do it. Go. Nowhere else but there. Got it?"

She received nods and opened the door, ushering them out and then running back to where she hoped the Syndicate members were.

Marin was having fun well as much 'fun' as a person like him could have. Marin and his squad had run jnto a little more restiance and now they were fighting in a large anti chamber. Marin was fighting multiple gangsters at once cutting there limbs and heads off one by one. This was his kind of fight only blades combat no blasters. His squad was not doing as well though 2 members were allready dead and the last two were fighting back to back agenst 9 gangsters. Marin had just chopped the head of a gangster when he heard the bomb go off. Looks like the slaves are free Marin thought time to make these gangsters scream. He stepped back and when two gangsters ran at him at once he ducked there blades and stabbed there legs. Causing them to scream in pain. Marin then spun around stabbing another gang member in both of his legs at once the gangsters screamed before having jos head chopped off. Marin charged the gangsters attacking his squad cleanly and calmly killing.Them.All. Once they were all dead Marin asked his squad members one simple question "Was that hard?" One said "No sir" the other said "IT WAS HELL". Marin said to the one who had said that "No but I'll gladly send you to hell weaklinng" at that Marin cut the squad member's head off. He then leaned on a piller with bloody blades at his sides waiting to see if the zeltron would return.

 

[Herrith]

Herrith skidded to a stop in the large room and only saw carnage. The Syndicate members stood there as if it were normal. Vomit rose in her throat and she turned the corner again, throwing up down the hall.

She reappeared a second later.
"I'm back. Slaves are out. What now?"

She leaned against a clean part of wall and crossed her arms, reminding herself that most of these dead guys deserved what they got coming to them.

 

[krano drall]

The zeltron walked in and to Marin's surprise vomited into the hall. "I'm back slaves are free. What now?" She said. Marin picked up his bloody blades and said with a chilling smile "Now we goto the killing floor the main throne room." Marin pointed at the slightly open door across the body and blood filled anti chamber. "Once in there we get to kill the gangster leaders you will get your pay, if you want it." At that Marin started walking towards the throne room's door with a skip in his stride.

 

[Herrith]

"Now we go to the killing floor...the main throne room..once in there we get to kill the gang leaders. You will get your pay, if you want it."

This guy seriously was a maniac. Grade-A. Purebred maniac. She resisted the urge to just turn and run.

"I'm not taking your bloody pay. They'll trace my credits back to you and I'll be executed or worse."

She was more or less just trying not to get his credits, cause really Herrith was creeped out by him.

"Let's go, then."

 

[krano drall]

Marin walked upto the Throne room door and said one last thing to the zeltron "Have fun" He opened the door and he and his last squad member rushed in there were 3 gangster leaders hiding behind there thrones and 7 bodyguards with blades. One of them was shot by Marin's last squad members before a knife ended the last squad members life. Marin was screaming as he fought 3 bodyguards at once. He kicked one into the other and sliced the head and arm off the 3 one. "And then there were the" Marin said

Herrith watched from behind as the Syndicate criminals fought the leaders of the slave gang. Once the fight finished, she waited for the squad's leader to return.
