This place hasn’t changed a bit.

Taris was every bit as advanced and beautiful a planet as Eileen had ever seen. She was only here to pick up some general foodstuffs for her travels, a well needed resupply. She didn’t own a freighter of her own yet, though the Jedi could likely consider the one the Order has provided for her owned for now. It wasn’t a luxurious model, but it had the basic amenities required to sleep and get to and from wherever Eileen needed to go.

The capital of Taris was a sprawling golden glass cityscape that reached ever higher into the skies above. Civilians bustled about like nobody’s business, and speeders filled the air that most commonly held wildlife. It was a electronic, machine run world, and the Jedi could feel the pulsing energies of electromagnetic current all around her, from the wiring of a droid to the gentle rumble of a starship’s engines as it left the landing pad. The young Jedi found herself in the center of a square, with four alternating pathways converging therein. Eileen was... lost. The last local she’d talked to informed her that there was a medical bay and equipment store set up individually nearby, but the food markets were further toward the east side of the Upper City. Unfortunately, this was the east side of the Upper City, and she couldn’t see a single vendor in sight. Had somebody played a fast one on her?

Okay I’m confused.

Her head weaved left and right, trying to find anybody nearby who might possibly be able to direct her in the right direction. The Vahla silently cursed herself for wearing her robes, it probably threw people off and made them assume she was on official business. Eileen would have been better off going in standard spacers fare, but hadn’t been bothered to change. That may have proven to be a mistake.
