Mandalore 20:19 Planetary Time
Kelbade City, Mandalorian Inteliegence Building

Luno waited inside the small restaurant along the opposite side of the street from the Intelligence Building, a small two story emplacement utilized for housing sensitive data by the mandalorians. Not necessarily wartime data or information on troop movements or fleet locations, but internal affairs and less high brow information that still needed to be housed under lock and key. This particular site was the one Luno had deduced the backup of extracted information from a Soma Vhan would be stored, information vital to finding the whereabouts of her now ex-husband Theron.

Luno had previously done some daytime survaliance and recognized a front and side entrance, the first floor was dotted with full length windows that looked into office space and the front door was a double layer security checkpoint. Obviously the building was only manned by the security force at night, and a mildly intelligent being could assume the datacenter would be housed on the second floor out of sight and out of mind. Turning to his two partners in the booth with him Luno checked his chrono and spoke up but quietly as not to attract unwanted attantion.

“We have everything we need right? Side door is the entry point, quiet and quick to the second floor. I’ll plug in the scanner, we get what we came for and we’re on to our next task.” Luno finished his remarks as he stood from the counter that sat against the window with seating along it in true diner form, the team had speeder parked two doors down from the intelligence building and on the same side; south down the street from the side entrance.

There were several stories Elix liked to tell himself as to how he got to be on Mandalore in the company of a boy covered in cybernetic spunk. Like most of his stories the one he was keen on telling today had started in a spice den on Manaan with a Cathar in his lap and seconds away from taking an overdose of Glitterryll. Turned out the Cathar was a talent-spotter of a rebel group and apparently guessed Elix' uses to be better than dying to a spice overdose. What a sweet heart. Elix immediately fell head over heels. He followed her from planet to planet, trying to do some Czerka assignments in between, and slowly but surely got roped into the Galactic Alliance. Him. A man born in Imperial privilege, with an almost grown son sure to join in the everturning imperial war machine, had officially joined the Galactic Alliance a week before he first met this grey-jawed youth.

Ofcourse, the cathar talent-spotter had been needed on a dangerous mission Elix hadn't been trained for yet and she left him after a love-knotian farewell. Elix had missed the company of dancers and the spicy overtures of life on the Rebel Fleet, where he often ate alone, so when an interesting call was made for rebels to try and find an Imperial defector.. well, let's say poor lonely little Elix jumped at the opportunity.

Now he sat in the booth opposite the grey-jawed boy, busy reading the messages he hadn't been able to receive over the net while in transit with the rebel fleet and sipped his dark Mandalorian caf. "This is surprisingly good, really-" he said absentmindedly praising the brew, "-for a backwater farmer's world like Mandalore." However hard you try, getting the obnoxious Core out of the obnoxious man was just impossible.

Fey sat just beside Luno in the booth, her hands folded across her lap complacently as she listened to Luno run over their plan once more. With the recent happenings of the Alliance, the pantoran Jedi chose an inconspicuously plain brown cloak, flowing enough to not reveal the regular robes she wore beneath, or more importantly, the twin sabers which were strapped securely about both of her hips. Her mass of white hair was secured down her back in braids.
Fey spent the majority of her time at the Jedi temple, a safe-haven for her since the recent events. Inside, was knowledge and wisdom in books and various holo-tools which she used to pass the weeks. Forms, meditations, history was all Fey had to dedicate herself to, and the passing weeks gave her nothing but time. Now, she would put the study to use.
Closing her eyes, Fey reached out bleakly to their surroundings. Feeling the force ripple quite weakly around her, searching for anything in the quiet street they were on. Wrong intentions, awareness of their plans, anything, but she felt nothing out of the ordinary. On the back of her mind, though, the smallest prickle of loneliness.
Fey lifted her eyes as Luno stood, and abandoned her place in the booth. "Let's make it quick and easy."

Luno stepped out on to the sidewalk and crossed the street with his team in tow, making for the alleyway and visually confirming his speeder was still present, with a mental affirmation and a sigh of relief he crossed into the alleyway that connected to the next street. Noticing a single guard leaning against the building just past the door looking down at a small datapad and smoking; his black ensemble topped with helmet would obscure his identity as he approached. Whistling lowly to get his attention as he closed the gap and grabbed the man, struggling for a moment and throwing him to the ground with a thud before hitting the man in the face repeatedly knocking him unconscious and retrieving his belongings, including a keycard which he would swipe on the keypad opening the door. Ushering the team inside as he took a pair of bindercuffs out of his bandoleer and secured the guard, bringing him inside behind the duo and laying him inside a cubicle out of sight. Quickly ripping part of his undershirt and stuffing it in his mouth and returning his helmet to his head before catching up with the others.

“To the second floor, I can access the network with a portscanner from there, it’ll take a few minutes.”
Luno said with a whisper as he kept his eyes peeled around the interior following the others as they looked for the stairs or a lift.

Elix had gulped down what remained of his caf and finished writing up a reply before sending it and exiting the booth as last of the three. "Shame of the tar-" he sighed, feeling bad about having to gulp down the excellent brew instead of being able to sip it for a good ten minutes extra. "-don't usually get it like that." Elix simply followed Luno in a casual walk as he stuffed his datapad back into his pocket.

What transpired next got him in a spice-wanting state, which isn't relaxed, more like a stressful panic. The Coreworlder just watched the grey-jaw beat up a Mandalorian guard and steal the unconscious man's keycard. Kriff, "I thought you'd have a port scanner-" Elix uttered as he approached the door, "-to you know, get in clean." He wasn't exactly sure how port scanner's worked, not having had the Special Operations Executive training that he was sure rebel intelligence provided to field operatives, but he was kinda sure that there was a better way inside than roughing up a mandalorian.

There was visible doubt in Elix' eyes as Luno gave the directive to head upstairs. "Maybe its better if I guard the exit-" he said, looking at Luno and then the unconscious guard, "-and keep him from raising any alarms when he wakes up."

Fey followed Luno out of the diner, pulling her robes quick to her side as they crossed the street to the alleyway. The presence that leaned against the wall of their target building was no surprise, and when Luno made quick work of muffling his presence Fey only blinked. Brutal, perhaps, but efficient. At least he left the guard alive.

The jedi moved around the guard and into the open building, listening to Elix make a point behind her about guarding the door. It wasn't a bad idea to have an early alert in case anyone had followed the trio.
"Perhaps that would be a good idea." This was only step one of their mission, and they did not need to be found out now.

Fey glanced around at the various cubicles and bleak looking office space they were now surrounded by. It wouldn't be hard now to find a lift, but the trio would just have to worry about any new guards showing themselves. Their presence wouldn't be a surprise to her. Fey walked ahead of the group a few feet, letting her thoughts permeate the immediate space around them. There were no disturbances in the thin band of force around them, so the pantoran continued on, down a dark hall that led away from the main office space, where two identical lifts sat unmoving at the end of the walkway.
"Got the lifts,"
Fey glanced back at where she knew Luno would be following her.

Luno nodded at Elix's suggestion and replied making note of his previous statement with a hushed tone "Well he wasn't going to just let us in... But yes, keep an eye on the front and back and let us know if anyone turns up. We're not here to kill anyone or make a mess." Luno finished as he was back peddling for a few steps to communicate with Elix, returning his attention forward as he followed the white haired woman, producing a port scanner from his bandoleer as he hurried for the lifts. Pressing the call button and waiting for the few seconds of travel the lift would arrive and open for the duo, stepping in and pressing the button for the second floor after Fey entered. The doors would shut and they would ascend to the second floor, exiting they would be greeted with a four sided room, windows only present to the street facing side from which they came.

A large windowed room would be housing the server racks at the rear of the floor, quickly moving to a work station within the cubicles Luno turned on the computer and inserted the port scanner as he only needed to be in proximity of the target not having to interface with it directly. "Shouldn't take long for it to download the information we're looking for, the datacard will hold the info... It'll look like a routine login from this workstation so we should be in the clear once it's done." Luno said without turning his helmeted head from the computer screen as it began the process.

"Take a look around see if there are any useful documents or information on the Sith that would be beneficial to your cause, we can make data copies while this does its thing." Luno said as he stood from the workstation and turned the monitor of the computer off to not draw extra attention as the hacking program ran its course. Keying his commlink he would raise Elix "How are we looking on your end?"

Elix was fortunate that there were no camera's looking down at his position with clear enough view to be able to identify him. Luno hadn't been exactly straightforward on his plan to get the intel and right now it looked like it could get Elix into a difficult spot. The new Alliance Commander, that jedi master, might be inclined to prefer the Mandalorians looking down on her as long as they didn't attack her fledging rebellion, but that also didn't get the rebellion any notable ground in their conflict against the Empire.

This defector's information was essential to the cause and the Mandalorians had been sitting on it since before Commander Ion's inaction caused the current Mand'alor to cool their friendship. As long as there was no directive against siphoning information from the Mandalorians, Elix hadn't thought he could get in trouble. That is, until Luno decided to force his way into the another state's intelligence headquarters.

Thus, the forty-something Czerka representative and rebel operative cooly walked across the street and lit a cigarra. He would be able function as a look-out from there as well, with the added benefit he looked like an older civilian who stepped outside for a smoke after his dinner at the restaurant.

Fey walked soon into the lift after Luno, and the pair remained silent until they reached the second floor and entered the room they sought. Fey remained slightly behind Luno, watching from a short distance as he plugged the port scanner into one of the many server racks. Fey's face remained neutral, but she wondered for a moment what had led Luno to this point. She didn't know much about him beyond his want for payment and expertise in tech. Fortunately, that's all that Fey required from him. She weighed placidly on the idea of asking him about himself, or just remaining quiet while he completed his job.

The jedi glanced around at the various databanks at Luno's prompt to search for information. She walked slowly throughout the banks. The Alliance would benefit from this operation, the capture of Theron was priority on this mission. With the neutral tension along the Mandalorian and Alliance lines, Fey did not wish to push neutral terms to bad between the two. Their current location was risky enough as it was.

Fey sighed, and moved to position herself near the terminal that the port scanner was working, leaning against a wall a few feet from Luno. The blue-skinned jedi collected her hands and folded them over in front of her robes placidly. "Does this work fare well in the field of credits?" Fey asked from her position on the wall. She didn't much feel like passing the time the scanner would take to complete it's job in silence. She knew Luno would be reciving a hefty allowance from the Alliance; if their mission was successful. She wondered momentarily on Luno's supposed line of work.

Pacing back and forth keeping an eye on the turbolift and shooting a glance back at the computer he had the port scanner linked to he would observe Fey standing right next to it "Please don't stand right next to it, if someone comes up they'll be able to guess the workstation computer I'm using with ease." Luno said with a steady tone, not of annoyance but of care for his work, delivering the statement right after Fey would ask her question to which he would pace for a few moments keeping his gaze on the lift.

"Depending on the job it can pay as poorly as a minimum wage gig, for something high risk like this... It's a nice sum, but this one isn't for the money. Getting Vahn and giving him over to the Alliance is my play to prove im more than a John with a blaster who hates the Sith." Luno said plainly, turning his gaze to the questioning Pantoran and with a bleak tone he continued "I mean i'm currently committing treason against my own people, so if this gets back to me I've forfeited my life... But hey the good of the galaxy and all that right?" Luno finished moving his sleeve back to look at his wristchrono and nodding before returning to lightly pacing back and forth.

"What about you, how'd you come to get involved with the rebellion?" Luno asked from beneath his helmeted head, keeping an ear open for Elix if anything was to go amiss outside.

Varus preferred his home of Krowsnest to Mandalore, but Varus went where he was told. He had been stationed in Kellade city for several weeks. It was boring work, he would have rather been out fighting the Sith, but the Mandalorian capital also needed to be protected.

He approached the government building, having been sent to retrieve a data chip from the data center to be delivered to his superiors. He didn't know what was one the chip, but then again, he really didn't care. He had done this a couple of times since he had arrived here.

He made his way towards the building, crossing the yard to the side entrance. He was wearing his full armor, carrying all of his weapons as he strode to the door. There had always been a guard here, Varus tensed for a moment, naturally cautious. He remembered the man from the last time he had come, seemed friendly enough, not like the type to left it unattended. Maybe he stepped away for just a moment, but he still found himself holding his rifle more tightly, ready to fight if need be.

"This is Varus Wren. I was scheduled to come to pick up a data chip from upstairs and there was no one at the side door. Is everything alright?" he asked over his comms to security. He swiped his own credentials and made his way inside.

It was extremely rare to see Drace not in his beskar'gam. It was rarer still to see him completely unarmed. Today, like every other day, he was both armed and armored, despite the fact that he was sitting in the terrace of a restaurant, enjoying a glass of Mandalorian whiskey. No other place brewed the stuff like they did back home, and he hadn't been back in months. Today was set to be a nice, relaxing day, away from the battlefield and away from the cramped lifestyle of living with dozens of other men in one ship for weeks at a time.

Or so he thought. The restaurant was right across the street from a government building, and Drace had been simply people-watching for just shy of an hour, his helmet on the table, glass in hand. The serenity of the day was broken as he watched a group of not two, but three people cross the street and enter the building. Though from his angle he wasn't able to see whether the guard let them in, the fact that there were three people—and none of them wearing beskar'gam or even any clothing custom to Mandalore—raised enough red flags for the Field Marshal—paranoid and always seeking a good fight—to get up from his table and investigate. Grabbing his helmet and sliding it on, he left a few chits on the table for the waitress and made for the government building, crossing the street as one of the men in the group (@Davik Lorso) lit his cigarra. Ignoring him, the Mandalorian turned the corner to find there was no guard.

Swiping his card, he opened the door with one hand, grabbing and holding his pistol in the other. There was nothing that indicated a scuffle in the entrance area. Drace was about to head back deeper into the building when the comms buzzed with the voice of one Varus Wren, asking if everything was alright. "Field Marshal Drace Solus here. Spotted three individuals entering the building, one wearing a skull-like helmet." He was about to continue when a muffled shout interrupted him, coming from somewhere to his right. Turning his head around for a moment, Drace stepped into one of the cubicles, finding that the guard that was supposed to be stationed outside was tied up and laying down out of sight.

Crouching, he took the man's helmet and gag off. "Some kid knocked me out and tied me up. Not sure if there was anyone else with him," he spat out hurriedly, and Drace nodded, getting back up. "Wait, aren't you gonna untie me?" But Drace was already gone.

The Field Marshal turned a corner and found Varus standing there. "They knocked out a guard," he murmured.

THEME
It was late, it was dark, there was no rest for the Mandalorian. Instead he had been sitting on the roof of the resturant all by his lonesome, just how he usually prefered it. Smoke drifted from his lips as a hand rolled cigara came to an end. Sighing he got up from his perch of star gazing and put his helmet back on. Looking down towards the building across the street, knowing full well the guards there were probably hungry and tired, he intended to maybe grab something from the restaurant and bring it over.

What he saw though was the guard's former post deserted. Koil had last set eyes on him about ten minutes ago, maybe less. The marauder knew better than to leave his post. What was more, a familiar figure entered his view and not one that seemed at ease. It was @Drace Solus , also known as Brawler Badger. The man had not been around much but if he was on edge then it was worth investigating without a doubt.

Pulling out his quickdraw blasters he made sure they primed. His black scatterweave armor against the inky blackness of the night sky reflected no light. Anybody looking up would be unlikely to spot him. He tuned his commlink to check the signals from the security team responsible, putting in his code and listening to what his fellow Mandalorians had to say, catching the fact that somebody had knocked out a guard. That confirmed his hunch.

It had been a rather boring week for Will, but he guessed security for a government building was also needed. He was just about to finish his route on the ground floor when he heard voices. Normally he didn't think much of it as people came and went in such buildings, but the thing they talked around, didn't sound like people who were supposed to be in here. Pulling his rifle from his shoulder, Will checked it and primed his gun. Walking cautiously down the corridor, towards the main hall of the buildings entrees.

Will wore his beskar'gam and his two blasters in their holsters, hey, always be prepared, that is Williams way of seeing things. As William turned around a corner and came into the entrance area he got ready for any opposition or unwelcome guest. Instead, he came face to face with Drace Solus, a fellow clan member and Field Marshal, it seemed he was with another Mandalorian. He quickly lowered his rifle, "Field Marshal?" He commented in surprise. "Fancy meeting you here," said Will and checked the area for any movements.

Fey's head inclined at the mandalorians response, yet didn't change her position near the terminal. Something along the small string of force rippled beyond her, and after a moment she knew lifeforms beyond the accompanying man were alight in the building and on the street. The hairs on the back of her neck stood, as she felt the presence of others.

Closing her eyes, Fey latched on to the steady stream of force and spread her reach throughout the building. Her hunch was correct, four new lifeforms now rippled through the area. None of which were their ally. Snapping her eyes open, Fey turned to the window in the room and began sprinting.

Turning her back on Luno and the lift doors, Fey ran towards the window that faced north. She knew the speeder would take too much time. The only chance of escape was the running the opposite way, down the south alleyway that ran along the building. In order to get there, Fey would have to swing herself 180 degrees to head down the alley going south. Fey sprinted at full speed for this window, and halfway there closed her eyes to the world and forced her mind into a state of calm. Fey was very comfortable in this state. She had spent the last five months in meditation in the jedi temple at Al'doleem, surrounded by holobooks, learning and soaking up different aspects of the force in her time spent studying. She knew, today, those would be put to the test.

Fey felt herself latch onto the force. She could feel the pull of the river of energy, and herself being pulled almost uncontrollably along. There was a small moment of pain; where Fey knew she had shattered the glass of the window that oversaw the alleyway, and then nothing but the constant flow of force. It felt as though she almost had no bodyweight at all, and when she opened her eyes the world around her was moving in slow motion. Fey had employed Force Speed, a core ability in which she had spent the last few months practicing in the temple on Al'doleem. Her perception of the world was slowed, yet she felt that she saw the word in the same slow motion, but only for her. This tactic has been employed in dodging attack attempts of enemies of the jedi for centuries, in turn, the amount of time it took Fey to escape was only a fraction of the time elapsed in regular time. The ripple of force that she pulled on was her lifeline as the edge of the building came into view.

Fey reached out her hand and caught the side of the mandalorian building, swinging the force of her body to round the corner of the building and plummet into the adjoining alleyway and continue her force sprint down the alley that would take her the complete opposite direction of the diner where she felt the enemy presence and south, clear of any oncoming hostiles.

Luno was mid step near the work station as he turned to enter it and check the progress of the port scanner when Fey stopped and put her finger up and turned. Something was wrong and before he could ask another question she was off with blistering speed, and crashing through the window; if things weren’t bad yet they were sideways with epic preportions now.

Thinking as quickly as his panicking mind could Luno ripped the port scanner out of its connection with the work terminal and turned the screen on, throwing the scanner in the direction she exited in and turned back to the work station. Unlatching the sling on his repeater and swiping the desks contents with it to appear in a struggle before hefting it against the thin cubical material busting through it partially as to look messy wedging the weapon in place. Quickly drawing his vibrobayonet Luno gritted his teeth knowing what was coming was going to hurt but it would hurt much less than being shot on sight when whoever was present got to the second floor.

Turning the bayonet so the blade was directed as if being stabbed by an attacker he would drive it through his armor just above the hip on his right side, clenching his teeth to hold in the bowl he would wimper as the pain overcame him. Allowing himself to fall to the ground he would draw his blaster pistol and throw it a few feet from him, leaning against the cubical wall clutching his now pierced body and waiting for whoever was coming to find him.

There wasn’t any way out of this situation in which he was a free man of that Luno was almost positive. Lying on the floor looking at his hands, they were shaking it wasn’t the pain but the fear as the adrenaline coursed through his veins, watching the blood slowly trickle from his wound. He was praying to god’s he had written off, silently in his head he pleaded with Kad Ha’rangir and Hod that his plan would at least see him through to a day at trial at the very best.

From his position across the street, Elix watched how armored Mandalorians headed inside through either the front exit or worse, the side exit. Knowing that the unconscious guard would soon be found and alarms raised, Elix made the only logical choice he could think of..

He took one last drag of his cigarra, dropped it on the curb and rested his foot on it for a moment. "Still-" he turned away from the intelligence building and walked back to the more crowded street, "-they have good coffee here."

There was no attempt to warn the others inside nor anything else that could be seen as suspicious. He was a forty-something male who had just finished his post-dinner cigarra and now left to go wherever men passed their fighting age went, which in this case, meant he raised his arm to hail a taxi.

Elix got on the back seat of the speeder taxi, said "spaceport, please" and began erasing all correspondence he had with Luno from his device. As the speeder moved to rejoin traffic Elix spotted the blurr that was Fey in Force Speed from the corner of his eye and he felt elated that she, too, seemed to have escaped.

It would take some time before Elix could rejoin with the rebel fleet. First he'd get on a starliner for a sightseeing tour of nearby star systems and then he'd return to work at Czerka until he was sure the grey-jawed boy hadn't caused him any trouble. He usually held contact with his local rebel cell through his encrypted datapad and while it was probably secure for him to continue to do so, until he was sure he wasn't a suspect in all this he'd wait for the Galactic Alliance to contact him, instead of the other way around.

He began heading up the stairs, having searched the whole ground floor, when Drace heard the shattering of glass just up above him. The Marshal broke into a sprint, vaulting over the stairs just in time to see a cloaked figure hit the ground and run down the alleyway. There was no catching her. They could just watch the surveillance footage later and get her description.

Turning to look around the room, he noticed the helmeted man from earlier laying down, covered in blood and still bleeding from a bayonet wound. Discarding the misgivings he had about the scenario, Drace stepped forward and crouched down beside him, reaching into his pouch and grabbing his medkit. He'd seen many a stab wound on the battlefield, so he knew how to treat it, and he'd need to treat it before he started questioning the man. No point in interrogating a corpse.

"White haired suspect has fled through the South window. She left behind one victim," he remarked into the comms as he opened the medkit and reached for a bandage. "Hold still," he murmured to the man, placing one hand on the bayonet and another on his leg, holding it in place. Then, he pulled it out and threw it aside, grabbing some kolto and rubbing it on the wound. Drace got to work wrapping gauze around it, his mind racing and trying to put the pieces together. He had several ideas regarding what had just happened, and none of them were particularly pleasant. Someone had just broken into an intelligence building like it was nothing.

[justfiy]Luno stayed put on the floor as the blood trickled down his side and around his hand when Drace turned up, talking into his comms to the others Luno now knew were present. Staying as still as he could as Drace began tending to the wound, Luno's leg tensed reactionarily as it was held in place, knowing what was coming next as he howled when the bayonet was removed and slammed his balled fist into the side of the cubical wall grunting as the kolto stung upon application. The gauze came afterwards as the helmeted mandalorian worked, lifting his hands to remove his helmet Luno would set it beside him and begin to speak.

"Ru hbaih la cuyir a jetii akay, 'kay va Ni kebbur at gev kaysh." With a heavy sigh he would continue "Mies t'ad lenedat ni a kisol ray'ture a'yao at urcir etid bal dilheya acar... Jigr a tracy'uur bat ni bal sirbur Ni cuyir kyrayc meh Ni narir va lertica'e" Luno chuckled with disappointment in his tone and coughed switching to basic for a moment "Should've known they wanted what the information on Vhan..." Stopping for a moment to consider his own situation, placing his hands on the ground to scoot himself into a more upright position against the cubicle wall he continued with a grunt "So what're you going to do with me?"

Drace listened as he patched the man up, glad to find that he began in Mandalorian. It was growing increasingly common to find tech-heads working in IT firms imported from around the galaxy, speaking nothing but basic and not a word in Mandalorian, which, considering they were in Mandalorian space, was just disrespectful. This one, though Drace was unsure of whether they shared a heritage, seemed to at least take local culture into account. Then again, maybe he was just Mandalorian and Drace was judging a book by its cover.

His casual expression turned hard when he heard the word jetii and remained like that as he let the man finished the story. Standing back up from his crouched position, the Field Marshal stared at the man in front of him from behind his T-visor, mind focused on what the hell this meant. Jedi? On Mandalore? Stealing intel on their prisoners? It seemed shady to say the least, and Drace was not particularly fond of Jedi either; he had only tolerated the alliance with the rebels because Raz thought it was the right choice and he would always follow the Manda'lor.

But now? Now, with newfound neutrality, it seemed the Jedi assumed they could just run around pulling shit like this with everyone. Blowing air out of his nose in a scoff, he stashed the medkit back into his pouch, mind still on the situation at hand, but realizing that he needed to deal with the man first.

"You stick around here for a little longer," he replied, turning around. No one had entered the room yet, despite the fact that a person had just jumped out through the window. Either all of security had dropped dead or someone wasn't doing their job. "Where the fekk is everyone?" he asked into the comms. For now, he'd remain silent about the Jedi thing. He would report it only to a War Council or to Raz herself. No point in spreading panic—or in the Mandalorians' case—joy at the idea of exterminating another group of witches and wizards.
