Having made arrangements with his new associate Luno has passed along information on an arms dealer able to help outfit the members of the Paroaria Mafia and its related members. With Luno having offered to accompany Cardinal to a meeting with the dealer, they wish to open relations in a positive way by purchasing some hardware for personal use and brokering a long standing and fruitful relationship for all parties on Nar Shaddaa.

Standing beside a small vendor's stand on the upper promenade Luno would check his datapad as he leans on the counter, a half eaten bowl of noodles and meat in front of him and his Dakka propped against the stalls front. Waiting for his partner in the dealings to be present was all the time he needed to get a quick meal in before a days negotiations, his attire was much more casual from the last time Cardinal had seen him. This time wearing black shoes and pants, a light jacket with a plate carrying system overtop concealed by a sleeveless poncho in a dark grey; his helmet sitting on top of the dakka's barrels. Luno enjoyed getting back together with those he'd already made introductions with as it meant he didn't have to wear his suit and he could bring his big guns.

Quickly checking shoulder holster for his blaster pistol and re-fastening his leg mounted vibroblade Luno would knock back the bowl of noodles and meat before tossing it down and turning to lean on the counter top with his elbows. Keeping an eye out for a familiar face and surveying the locals, if this was going to be his new base of operations for the time being, he wasn't disappointed yet.

Nar Shadda was where things happened. Nar Shadda was known for being the Criminal underworld, pickpockets ran rampant, bank heists were extremely common, and anyone could be your enemy. That's what Cardinal liked about Nar Shadda, it was so predictable yet unpredictable. It almost gave Cardinal a high. Cardinal walked down the somewhat busy marketplace and found the right vendor. He was supposed to meet with Luno at the vendor, and they would go see the man with the guns.

While Cardinal liked Nar Shadda, and most of the Criminals knew him, he didn't trust the general people enough to go weaponless. He carried his lightsaber, and his blaster, but against his security chief's constant protest, he decided to not bring any guards. Cardinal didn't need the extra attention security would bring him, he already had constant attention, no they wouldn't be needed, so Cardinal came alone. Cardinal spotted Luno, and he made his way over. Luno was wearing more fancy clothes then the first time he met him. Luno seemed to fit in with Nar Shadda, Cardinal did too, but his expensive suit made him look out of place. Luckily Cardinal didn't bring anything expensive so there was no reason to be harassed.

Pulling a tabak stick from a small metal case and retrieving a small metal lighter from his pocket Luno would light and puff while placing the items back in his pocket. Continuing to scan for a few moments before eyeing Cardinal, still opting to wear a full suit it seemed and with a grin Luno would extend a hand to shake before offering pleasantries while gathering his weapon and helmet. Slinging the repeater on his back and tightening the sling while he carried his helmet in left hand, smoking with his right he said with a smoke in between his lips "Glad you could make it, our destination is just down the way-" Pulling the tabak stick from his mouth to exhale he would continue "-We'll be meeting with Jacob Havarti, he's got a nice place." Luno said pointing roughly a block down the way "The sign says Havarti's Cheese's." That'll be the one we're looking for, Luno finished as he stepped away from the vendors counter and listened for Cardinal's response.

Keeping an ear to him and splitting his attention to the many passers-by, Luno would always be amazed by the diversity of creatures, people and equipment you could run past in the outermost rim. Taking in the occasional passing woman and marveling at some of the more noticable tech some of the passing people possessed was enough to make his head spin every time he went to a part of the galaxy that attracted travelers or people for hire. Glancing back at Cardinal he would chuckle in his head as he puffed on the tabak stick, if someone was to inquire it would look like Luno was Cardinal's hired security which in his mind bolstered their street look and would deter common thugs, but he couldn't be sure.

Cardinal watched as Luno smoked death stick. Those things were killers. Cardinal listened to Luno. “Sounds good, I can’t wait to meet Mr. Havarti. Bet he doesn’t have as good a place as me though.” Cardinal joked, this was the start to something good. Cardinal patted Luno on the shoulder and said, “Well what are we waiting for? Let’s meet the Cheese man.” Cardinal began to walk towards the shop, with Luno in tow, smoke blowing out of his mouth. Along the sides of the street, scum lined up, begging for money. Filthy scum that would waste their money on booze and smokes.

Flanking Cardinal as they walked Luno listened to the short quip about Mr. Havarti and his operation and replied in turn “No it’s not a full service type of operation like yours, he maintains a quaint spot, you’ll see.” Luno reassured Cardinal with a chuckle as he puffed on the tabak stick and rounded the corner of the building displaying the Havartis Cheeses sign, tossing the small remained of the stick Luno knocked on the door twice. It currently had a ‘Closed’ sign in the windo in preparation for a meeting versus normal operational hours and after a handful of seconds the electro lock on the other side was disengaged and the door slid open for the duo.

Greeted by the face of a large Rodian who was assumed to be muscle, the creature only extended a hand gesturing for them to go into the back behind the counters. The location was actually a business in the front, a legit store hosting cases of cheeses to be purchased like a deli. It was small and smelled wonderful but that was for another time, as Luno lead the duo into the back to find two more guards flanking the entrance to the back room and a man sitting at desk inside the back office. Ledgers and paperwork strewn across the desk as he currently had his face burried in a datapad tracking numbers, raising his view to the duo.

“Luno I see you really did have someone for me to meet. A pleasant surprise-” Rising from his seat and offering a handshake to Luno with a smile, and turning to Cardinal ”-You must be Mr. Paroaria” He said still standing and smiling at Cardinal.

Cardinal nodded, "Sounds legit." They approached the shop, and Cardinal was welcomed by the smell of fresh cheese. Cardinal looked up at the closed sign, but wasn't surprised that they were allowed in. Many criminal business had a front cover while the criminal activity was hidden behind. The Black Tails was the complete opposite, wanting as much attention, and getting it in the news. They were met by the traditional muscle but not very clever guard, and he gestured them inside the back. While the honest part of the place smelled like cheese, and was somewhat kept clean, the back side operation was the complete operation. The walls were deteriorating, and the air reeked of spice and booze. Cardinal coughed as they continued through the hallway.

They were finally let into the back room where Mr. Havarti sat. The place looked like a mess, paperwork crowded the desk. Cardinal nonetheless smiled, and shook Jacob's hand. "
Yes, and you must be Mr. Havarti. A pleasure to finally meet the man behind the operation. I've heard great things from Luno." Cardinal said. He took a seat at one of the red cushioned chairs.

"I have heard great things in return Mr. Paroaria, and I appreciate this opportunity to expand both of our books of business... I'll get right down to it-" Havarti said taking his seat after Cardinal did "-I move hardware, I have a handful of dedicated smugglers bringing me military grade and hard to find laser weaponry in regular intervals. Luno here told me he was in the market for a certain piece and that he had a connection to make and here we are." He finished smiling and folding his hands in his lap.

"Correct that is, I could use the extended power capacity for this thing. It drinks energy like it's free." Luno said with a chuckles as he unslung and leaned his repeater against the other cushioned chair before sitting "So how much does one of those go for anyway? I might want to pick up a shipments worth in the future." He asked as he pulled out a datapad and removed the stylus to take the note down. Havarti's demeanor would change slightly as he shifted uncomfortably in his seat and drummed his fingers on the desk momentarily "I'm sure you can see by the mess I am in a little bit of a stressful situation right now." Havarti said before standing and looking to Cardinal first then to Luno "What better way to start a fruitful relationship than to bail a new friend out of a tough spot?"

Cardinal smiled, and listened as Jacob explained exactly what he did. Cardinal’s attention rose as Jacob subtly mentioned money issues. “I’d be more than happy to help you there, Mr. Havarti. I can provide you with resources to get you bigger, and pay off any debts you owe of course. Luna here told me that you’re also an arms dealer? I have a need for weapons. I have storage space that you can store your goods, and I have contacts that would be more than happy to buy your weapons. I myself also need some supplies.” Cardinal did have storage space just lying around with nothing in them, so this arrange them could solve two problems at once!

If you don’t mind me asking Mr. Havarti, what type of arms do you procure? Military grade I presume? I do would like to get my hands on one of those quick draws. I can have my men contact yours for your money of course, but i’d Like a sample, if I may.

"Oh... No, no I'm not having creditflow issues Mr. Paroaria my issue much more physical in nature." Havarti said with a bit of a flustered tone, having been mistaken for being a broke businessman because of his poor word choice. "The last shipment I was to receive has been seized by customs, the office it was coming through was on my payroll... But clearly someone got involved, I assumed it to be one of my rivals and was proven correct when I got word my shipment showed up in his warehouse." Havarti said with a grunt before continuing.

"Normally these sorts of things don't happen but every once in a while some john gets a rumbling between his legs and feels he needs to prove himself to the community." Havarti said taking a seat again and addressing Cardinal's request "Simple enough, if you can sort this little mess out for me, you and Luno that is. Consider a QuickDraw from that shipment yours and same goes for a heavy power pack." He said reclining in the chair slightly.

Sitting in his chair Luno leaned in before speaking, potentially on behalf of himself and Cardinal "I would be happy to help Jacob, give me the location and i'll put this expensive paperweight I carry to good use." Luno finished with a smirk and returned to his relaxed position, resting one hand on the barrels of his repeater before turning his attention to Cardinal to hear his response.

"Ah, I see. I've had this situation occur several times as well." Cardinal said softly. While situations like these didn't normally occur and the merchandise was fairly cheap, they did add up. Cardinal could relate to Jacob business wise. "I can certainly help you with your problem Mr. Havarti." Cardinal sat up in his seat, "Tell us what you want us to do, and we'll get it done." It appeared Cardinal and Luno would have to crack some skulls to gain Jacob's trust. It wasn't a problem, while Cardinal had other people cracking the skulls, and doing the dirty work, Cardinal could do it, probably learn a few things from Luno too. Both Luno and Cardinal were in agreement, so it was up to the Boss to tell them what to do.

With a wide smile Jacob opened the main drawer of his desk and pulled a datapad from it and slid it towards the duo spinning it in the process so the screen was facing them. "Address, security measures and some other details I keep on that outfit." He said before crossing his arms and continuing "Now there's no saying you have to go in and blast every swinging sausage in the place, if that's your style so be it. But if you want to do it quiet be my guest, I'll let you two figure that out." Jacob concluded before standing and signaling the two guards present "Please take the datapad study up, my men will see you out... Come on back this way once the job is done and we'll get everything straightened out."

Jacob finished his remarks and left the duo to make their way out.
