New Mandalore​

It wasn't so many days removed that the sanctions against the Sith has passed. It was interesting to know that there was a ripple effect. The stocks of so many corporations and manufacturers Core-ward had plummeted. Blackwell got off more or less unscathed however, there was the nusience of that one Senator of Byblos telling the whole galaxy that Blackwell supplied Sith with droid armies. Newton is sure that either Blackwell can shrug it off or pursue legal avenues for slander.

That's for the legal department and the higher ups though. The Blackwell Technology Officer is now visiting New Mandalore. It's not a bad planet he thought when he first caught sight of the surface. Newton is no stranger to Mandalorians, having met some previously. But these Mandalorians - the New Mandalorians - were different yet similar in a lot of ways.

Anyways, Newton is here because of a certain company here caught his attention. Buirkan Engineering Solutions Cooperative or BES Corp. They have a catchy slogan and they do have some products of interest to Newton. So, Newton is on Mandalore to meet with a representative of theirs and see about making a deal.

Newton would be in an BES-Corp office wearing a nice black suit, white shirt, and a nice tie. His R3 Astromech droid campion M7 would be at his side as he would look out the windows with a vantage point overlooking the oceans. Newton would check his chrono "It's almost time" he muttered to his little friend.

[Idril Vizsla]

Idril walked slowly as she made her way to the waiting area where she was to meet her next appointment. She had planned this out, set aside ten minutes between her previous meeting and this one, both to allow her to reach him on time and also to refresh. She was leafing through a notebook, an actual paper and ink notebook. A rarity, and expensive to obtain, but she found it easier to track her thoughts if she actually wrote them down.

This particular notebook contained her notes she prepared for her meetings. She had spent a few hours the previous night researching everything she could about Blackwell Technologies, and the representative she would be meeting. The company's CTO, one Newton Arden.

He was an engineer, which put her a little at ease. His area of expertise might not be the same as her, but he had similar interests. She could make sense of that, and hopefully hold a conversation more easily than most of the executives she met.

Taking one last look at her notes, sure that she had done everything she could to prepare for this meeting in the time at her disposal, she put it away the notebook, put on a smile, and walked into the waiting area.

"Mr Arden," she greeted the man, offering him a hand to shake, "I hope I did not keep you waiting for long. I am Idril Vizsla. This way, please."

She would lead him down a corridor into her office, offering him a seat at her desk across from her chair before settling in. "Would you like a refreshment? Kaf, water?" She said the words almost without thinking, it was a routine she had memorized and repeated almost every time in a situation like this. Ultimately, with pleasantries out of the way she would drive the conversation to the matters of importance.

"How may I, and BES-Corp, be of service to you?"

The Blackwell Executive would take her up on her handshake when the opportunity presented itself, he smiled as well for he knew today would be a glorious day with opportunity. "My pleasure, by the way, you can call me Newton" he grinned as he was ushered into her office, taking a seat where designated.

This was curious, Newton assumed that Mandalorians were normal humans, and this one is clearly not a normal looking human. Having blue-skin. Pantoran with a well known clan name as far as Mandalorians go? Curious, interesting.

On a choice of refreshment "Water will do, thank you" he would nod his head.

Anyways, the question was asked and they can get to the most important aspect, business, the meaning of why they are all here of course. Newton is used to this song and dance, but he is more than happy to oblige. "Of course. I've recently became aware of BES Corp. The story behind it is intriguing." From the information he looked at. Mandalorian engineers coming together to make a organization that has operations set up all over the planet they are on. Very intriguing indeed. Newton would get his datapad and then fiddle with it for a bit, pulling up the vaccine droid BES is behind and then put it on the Idrill's desk, highlighting what specially Newton is interested in.

"As a droid expert, I know a good droid when I see one. And that is a quality-designed robust droid. A great product" Newton nodded his head in approval of his own words. The Vizsla should know that's high praise, maybe she might be aware that Newton is the one behind the ever popular D3-NB series combat droid. Anyways, onto the vaccine distributor unit. "A great product that the galaxy needs. So I was thinking in the interest in mutual benefit - and for the better galaxy of course - if we can make a deal..."

Newton would then stroke his chin as he is thinking aloud. "But first. With the vaccine completed there is a very big market out there for droids like these, from planetary governments, to sector governments, and even the big Galactic Senate governments." AMS is everywhere after all. "Need some clarifications first. How well equipped would you say your company's manufacturing base is to meet very high demand?" Newton had another question "Also these droids seem to be expensive to make. Is it due to the dense durasteel needed? How much of this durasteel do you have access to?" he asked. These clarifications would help Newton figure out a deal that would be best tailot-fit for BES needs and serve Blackwell's interests.
