Generic tech goes in the player workshops. It covers anything that is- as the name implies- totally generic. No bells, whistles, extra minty air fresheners, etc, @Darasuum made this Generic Tech Compendium, but I'm not sure how up to date it is right now. You may just have to dig for some stuff.

After fiddling with the code a bit, I see that there is a large amount of pistols and the "rifle" header that are missing, and I can't seem to make them show up. I think I made a big mistake by trying to fit the whole thing into one post.

Basically, a large portion of the base code in between the Pistols and Rifles catagories is entirely missing from the forum post, even though the code is all present in my gdoc. I think it might be that I didn't close a URL tag properly, as that's caused a lot of weird issues like that in the past, but I'll have to comb through the code to know for sure.
