The planet, Felucia. Outer Rim Territory, Thanium World, Felucia System. This planet has one sun; Felix and it contains two moons to the knowledge of the archives. The climate is hot and humid and the percentage of gravitational pull to the planet is about 75%. There is no need to bundle up on this warm jungle planet or wasteland as Tor'Vani had declared it in full disregard of all the life here. Echo-16 had taken Tor'Vani through many planets and recently this one was past visited, but he doesn't remember the weather being as hot as it is now. This was odd to him; because as soon as he entered the atmosphere things began to heat up in the cockpit of the old fighter ship. Was this because he was experiencing another episode of power or something totally unrelated? He would soon find out. All he knew was that once he had landed he was not alone, he felt another presence of the force near by, but he wasn't entirely sure what emitted it nor did he care much to find out at this point.
The cockpit door opened and created a fog from the conflicting temperatures from within the ship and the planets natural heat. No sooner than his foot would hit the ground did the skies open up and it began to rain. Tor'Vani closed the door to the cockpit of Echo-16 and climbed atop of the fighter. He sat at the hull of the old junker and began to meditate, he began to hover in the air ever so slightly, and he clouded his mind with deep thought and silence. Tor'Vani focused in on the sound of the rain tattering against the metal of his ship. That was his focal point, that some how relaxed his mind and allowed him to think more clearly.
A few hours have passed. Still sitting, still meditating; Tor'Vani finally reached the point in his mind as to why he began to meditate in the first place. "Why have you summoned me here?" he asked aloud to no one, but the nature that surrounded him. "What is this presence I am feeling? It's no being, it's no type of force I've ever encountered before, that I know of. So, what is it?" With no response on any level Tor'Vani grew annoyed. A sudden and deep, yet distant roar echoed in the background of the dense jungle that surrounded Tor'Vani and it immediately broke his entire concentration. "What the hell was that?" he asked himself aloud. He quickly pulled out his datapad and tapped into his archives from his first visit to this planet, when he was on contract and didn't have much alone time to research the areas he explored. "Search: Rancor subspecies." He commanded with a slight tone of worry in his voice. "There are eight known subspecies of Rancor to date on this planet. Would you like to continue research?" "Yes." Tor'Vani answered with no hesitation. "Listen and search the archives for this call." Again a continuous roar was let out. "Confirmed. Analyzing." While he waited, he wondered what this new sound could be. Something new to collect data on? Something new to kill perhaps? Maybe it was just a Jungle Rancor that's hurt or something, he still wanted to know. Breaking the now silent landscape very abruptly the datapad spewed out and error "Error. Code: 12E-89-000000DFG///LLF." "Define the error." Tor'Vani spoke back quickly and sternly. "The voice input you have entered does not match the system, all points in the vocal structure indicate the noise you are hearing is a recording. In close proximity."
Tor'Vani shut down his datapad. Took off his hooded sweat shirt. And placed his hand on his lightsaber. He felt new presence close by and this was odd to him because his sensitivity to the force is rather strong and he usually senses another being right away, but he knew this wasn't the same force that he felt before. This wasn't the same reason he had came to Felucia, this was something new. Something that caught him off guard. That was very unlike him, but then he thought to himself and said aloud in a dull whisper. "I knew I saw something break atmosphere with me when I first got here. At first I thought it was an astroid or space junk, but now I realize I miscalculated."
A few minutes had gone by and Tor'Vani looked around, gained the knowledge he needed to survey the area completely and adequately. He then heard a soft and feint rustling. Perhaps a screw up in someone's hiding, he thought to himself. Either way he would find out soon enough who it was following him. Watching his every move.
"Show yourself. I know you're there. I can feel it, I heard you. Come out."
Tor'Vani closed his eyes briefly and drew his colorless lightsaber. He was prepared to face anything at this point, at least that's what his dauntless spirit was telling him.
