Location: Streets of Coruscant
The night sky had just settled over the city world and the underbelly of the beast was roaring to life. A young Twi'lek crept out from the shadows and darted to and fro, a small satchel bouncing against her legs. She cussed under her breath at the steady sound of footsteps that followed behind her. Looking back and forth frantically the Twi'lek darted into the nearest opened window and dropped to the floor. The air smelled of oils and gases that could only belong in a repair garage. She gagged briefly at the scent having preferred the old scent of old artifacts, or the refreshing breezes of nature. However, beggars can't be choosers when running away from authorities. She carefully peeked her head over a crate and spotted a young teen working on a swoop bike. Great. I somehow have to avoid getting spotted by him and find a way out of this warehouse...garage, or whatever, she scoffed to herself and settled into simply watching the young teen, waiting for an opportunity to find a way out.

The warehouse was cold, and strange noises and lights were buzzing from the young human's receiver near his mask he was wearing. It looked as if he was having a conversation with his boss, although much disrespect was being shown. "Alright man, I can splice the cantina for some footage but I doubt I will find your guy." He said impatiently. With a few moves with a wrench he gave his swoop bike a pat. "Atta girl Comet" and with that he began wiping the grease from his hands and sweat from his brow. He hadn't noticed the intruder lurking in the shadows.

The Twi'lek almost let out a chuckle at the young teen's attitude towards whoever was on the other line, but she needed to focus on getting out. She glanced towards the far end of the warehouse and spotted a door. She was just about to dart behind another set of crates when her pager let out a high pitched shrill indicating her clients were getting impatient.

Asher looked up from his bike and was startled at the sound. "If Droma sent you tell him we already got our business sorted." Asher reached into his pocket and held his knife behind his back unsure of who lurked just ahead in the darkness.

Risk cussed under her breath once again and stepped out from the shadows, holding the pager to her mouth. "Tell the wookie that I have his spice and if he wants it he better have my ride off this planet, or another job lined up." A series of high pitched noises followed and with a small hum the device was silenced. She glanced up at the boy and smirked at the sight of his knife. She had a worn brown bomber jacket, plain black tee, dark green padded pants, worn combat boots covered in grime, and slightly dirtied bandages wrapped around her lekku.

Asher was dressed in grimier clothes. He wore a long sleeved torn shirt under a red jacket, with dark pants and black boots. His hair was dark brown almost black and very messy. His eyes were sky blue. He spoke with an accent much like the other locals and his eyes seem to hint at mischief. He was of normal height and build, and a cute lad. He had just had his fifteenth birthday. "An off-world smuggler?" he asked curiously. "I aint a snitch, you have nothing to worry about" he said calmly. He postured himself in an arrogant yet playful manner, and was curious of the stranger.

"I'd be off world before the authorities could even catch a whiff of my location," she snorted softly and looked her up and down. "You're awfully young to be by yourself in the underbelly of Coruscant," she placed the pager away.

It was a typical night on Courasant, big city, bright lights, dark sky. Voron was in his warehouse repairing his gear from a previous dust up he got into on Nar Shaddaa. Suddenly, he heard two republic police officer running down the street. One was shouting in an annoyed manner, and said something about an illegal smuggler. Voron shrugged, and suited up. He figured the police would need some help.

After getting properly equipt, he jumped out of a window into the streets of Courasant in persuit of the men chasing the smuggler. Lucky for him, the officers seemingly didn't notice him. As Voron (more commonly known as dark matter) was on a wanted list for Vigilantism and murder.

"I'm smarter than most" he said and gave a grin. "I got time before my next job, you're looking a little winded, need directions?" he offered help not as a gesture to belittle her abilities but in a helpful manner. He sat up and stretched and placed away his knife and placed his tools and headset into his backpack and hopped on his swoop bike. "This is Comet, fastest swoop bike in the underbelly."

"Hmmm..." she gave him a skeptical look then shrugged her shoulders. "What's life without a little risk," she gave a short laugh and hopped on behind him. "People entrusted to keep me alive even for the shortest time can call me Risk."

"Risk it is then." he said with a grin. "Name's Asher Thran, and nobody catches up to me" he said proudly. The human offered up a small device from one of his jacket pockets. "Punch in the coordinates and I'll drop you off." he said and with a press of a button on Comet's panel, the garage door opened, and he took his bike and the stranger out into the rainy streets.

Risk quickly inputted the coordinates to a small bar infamous for its exotic dancers, spice concoctions, and cheap beer. "Just a word of advice. Two republic officers were chasing me right before I jumped into your warehouse. It certainly would be entertaining to test your statement about having the fastest swoop bike in the underbelly," she snorted softly and placed the device back in his pocket.

The two lawmen approached the building with caution. To their surprise, the perpetrator was on a swoop bike. Voron managed to catch a glimpse of two figures on the swoop bike as well, and contacted his protocol droid butler. "38, I need my star fighter ASAP. Two thugs are getting away." "Right away, sir," the droid replied with an accent.

A dark object appeared in the sky hovering around ten yards from the street. Voron extended his right arm grappling onto the fighter. He then proceeded to enter the cockpit thinking to himself "Who are there two? Escape by swoop bike, not the worst idea I suppose."

"Not a problem. Half of these Republic officers avoid most of Droma's territory" and with that Asher punches Comet into full gear. The bike moved fast. Nothing compared to a starfighter, but it was only feet above the ground and Asher turned city streets and corners with relative ease, flowing in between buildings left and right. He was hard to track and he knew it. Shortly after he had reached his crime bosses territory. "No officer has chased me out this far." he said slowing Comet down as he cruised on ahead. "Hell consider it a shortcut" he said with a laugh.

Risk let out a small laugh as the familiar build up of adrenaline coursed through her body. Every single sight sharpened and the sounds around her just an octave higher. "You better not be another liar. I would hate to be caught so soon in my career."

Voron hovered above the buildings in the slums, and eventually spotted the bike go into a rough part of town. Voron groaned, apparently the guy he was chasing had connections. This meant another long night. He had his star fighter follow after the two, and turned speakers attached to his ship on. The speakers boomed "I'll count to five before I blast you."

Asher's eyes lit up with both excitement and surprise as he gazed above him. "That's not a Republic officer. Droma's going to be pissed." He looked at the streets and scanned them quickly. His mind was racing fast at what to do next and then he looked at Risk and said "Hold on!" and with that he sped up Comet and took them deep into the Hutt's territory. Carefully moving the duo between watchtowers and guard postings. He had hoped that their new hunter would be caught up between the rain, the darkness, the streets, and most importantly blaster fire as they made their escape.

Risk kept her blaster at hand and scanned the nearby streets carefully. She was looking for the closest opportunity to jump and bail if their hunter friend got a little too close for comfort. She felt her skin crawl at the thought of being caught and being closer to people who could use the force. The last time she was that close people ended up dead. The force was a curse and one that was better off unused, a person only needed a good blaster and common sense to survive and live a decent life. "This is going to be fun," she snickered and held on tightly.

Voron got to the number four when he realized this was a trap. Blaster bolts flew at him from watch towers causing damage to the ship's hull. The vigilante was not in the mood to be trifled with. He returned fire on one of the towers causing it to explode. At this point the buildings were becoming too dense, he would no longer be able to track the two if he remained in the fighter. With precious few options, he ejected himself from the ship, and used his jumpers to attempt to land on the bike with them.
"Nice bike."

The bike shook with a sudden jump not intending to carry this load, and almost flipped upon the weight. Asher slammed on the brakes and turned the bike in an attempt to fling off their hunter. "Holy shit!" he exclaimed in disbelief at what had just happened. He shifted the back and headed down an alleyway, they were approaching their destination shortly.
