Garev landed his ship on Manaan after having it extensively repaired on Dolomar after a few close encounters and his engine being damaged. Glad to be done with that mess he walks out of the spaceport. He'd been to Manaan once before as a child with his mother. Manaan was a peaceful planet and he needed peace after his most recent encounter.

He floated by all the people and shops talking in the scenery. He stopped when he reached an open field with a lake in the center. Serenity. Garev took a deep breath and starred off into the distance.

Manaan, a beautiful peaceful planet. A good place to come to rest after some dangerous adventures and missions.

Quentell sat on a chair outside of a building, his black hood pulled far over his face. His eyes covered, cold ale in a glass which he held in his right hand. He enjoyed the time on this planet. He had been to rough times lately.

As he drunk slowly from his ale, and watched people passing by, he thought of what to do next, after leaving the planet, as he had planned to leave the next day. Then something made him look up from his glass.

What?

He could feel the presence of a nearby force sensitive. However, this one seemed to be familiar. He thought of some sensitives he had met in the past, those he could remember clearly. Then he saw the one walking by.

By the Force! The Miralukan!

He drunk the last bit of his ale and he got up from the chair, pulling his hood a little more over his head. He watched the Miralukan passing by. He payed for the drink quickly and decided to follow this one, for he might have something dangerous or evil in mind.
He remembered the words this one said at their first encounter: "It is my duty to end you..."

Quentell smiled by the thought of it, as it seemed the experienced Shade Knight could have killed the Miralukan easily, instead of being killed by the Miralukan. He only let him live because he did not want to shed blood, nor want to fight an entire group of Dark Jedi, especially not in the sewers.

Step by step he followed the Miralukan, when he suddenly stopped at an open field with a lake in the center. Quentell frowned and stepped towards the Miralukan, with his lightsaber, still switched off, in his right hand, but the sleeve from his robe over it, so it was still hidden.

"I remember you..." he said to the Miralukan.

He stood behind the Miralukan, waiting for a reaction.

Garev had noticed someone had been following him. He didn't think it would be the shade from Dolomar. "And I you, glad to know you got away safe." He said, still looking out over the water.

He looked to his robes, "I do not wish to fight Shade. Those Dark Jedi were tougher than I anticipated. I have but one lightsaber left."

Quentell listened to the words this Miralukan spoke. He smiled from under his hood.

"So they destroyed your sabers except one... That's a heavy loss, isn't it? I mean, my saber is my companion, and it saved my life many times, I would find it very regretful if mine would be destroyed. Learn to fight while holding your hilt in both your hands, I could have slashed your floating hilts into two if I wanted to."

He grinned and his thumb rested on the red button of his hilt, ready to ignite the blade. But somehow he felt he did not need his saber this time. At least, not for a deathmatch. It seemed like it, this Miralukan, whose name he did not know yet, had no offence in mind at all. Then why did he fight Quen back in the sewers of Dolomar?

"Why did you try to take my life, back on Dolomar, young one? Why did you say that it was your duty to end me? What drove you? Was it the strong Dark Side Aura that covered the smelly air of the dark tunnels, or perhaps your own evil mind? Explain me, Miralukan. Now."

Garev felt a bit uneasy speaking with the Shade and no facing him. His heart was indeed very heavy having lost three of his lightsabers and nearly loosing his ship.

"You might be right Shade. I possibly could be more effective with my own two hands, but my body is not as strong as most beings'.

He felt a bit of anger from the Shade but it quickly subsided. Upon being questioned, Garev turned around. Passion radiating off of him.

"I was driven, driven by the darkside. But not the darkside in me. By the darkside in them. I had to end them, their kind should not be allowed in this galaxy. My intention was not to kill you, but allow you to escape, while securing a place with them. But a Jedi padawan showed up and I had to protect him, thus losing the credibility I gained running you off. Along with my lightsabers and almost my ship."

Frustrated by the situation and unable to concentrate, Garev stopped floating and fell to his knees.

"I was not strong enough to defeat them. I ran, I should not have run."

The Miralukan spoke as if he wanted to show his 'light side'. As if he wanted to prove to Quentell he was not evil. Still the Shade Knight had his doubts.

"Young Miralukan, you intended to help me escape by fighting a deathmatch with me, which I could have won so easily? It is true I had a great opportunity to flee back then, but still..."

He shook his head as he saw the Miralukan falling to his knees. He looked down on the young man.

"Oh, what are you doing now? C'mon, get up. You're not pathetic aren't you? And I am not a King nor a Lord either. Get up."

He did not wait for him to get to his feet. He continued: "In fact, young one, running sometimes is the wisest thing to do. Didn't they teach you that at your Luka Sene? Running can save your ass and sometimes it can save others as well. I ran back then because I felt that if I killed you, I would have to fight an entire group of Dark Jedi, meaning I would not survive. And because of that, although I would last long, you did not stand a chance at all. Choose your enemies, Miralukan. Choose your enemies well. Run if you think they are too strong, fight if you think you can handle them or if you are with a group large enough to overcome them. Strategy is important in battles."

With Garev's mind no longer clouded, he floated back to an upright position.

"You are right, perhaps, we could have fared better together. I lack true focus. My only knowledge is of the Force, in my schooling that was all my teachers taught me. To use my affinity to the Force to overcome everything. I have no physical capabilities and little tactical knowledge. All of my skill is rooted deeply in the Force."

"I see... I see..." Quentell replied. "Tell me, Miralukan, what exactly is the Luka Sene. To me it seems some kind of Force school, but isn't it something like the Jedi order? You guys aren't peacekeepers are you? Just people who use the Force? Please explain me."

"The Luka Sene is a formal organization on Alpheridies. There the Force is taught in classes, with an academic atmosphere. Most students only use the Force to improve the personal lives, being more attune to the planet and knowing the best times to plant and harvest. The Luka Sene doesn't exactly speak of the Force as a mystic entity as all others do. Most instructors teach more practical applications of the Force. We are taught that the Force can help us lead better lives and make our society better. Those of us who show high level of promise a given a more extensive instruction in the uses of the Force. Combat, defensive and offensive powers. We are influenced to stay away from the lure of the darkside, but if any of are members were to fall, we have a task Force. They are called Sene Seekers, the are to find the fallen and redeem them or defeat them, thus keeping or teachings safe."

Garev looked at the glove on his left hand and ran his fingers over it.

OOC: I don't really know what to post now actually, so I just posted this..

"Ah yes... A school... Listen kid, the Force is not more than just something to help you in your daily life."

This was probably the weirdest schooling of Force usage he ever had heard about. To him, the Force seemed a great mysterious power, more than just a way to make life easier. An interesting place, this Luka Sene.

"So, that's where you learned that telekinetic saber combat? Know this, telekinetic combat is not the best way of dueling. It has many weaknesses I could have taken advantage of to strike you down. Like I said, your weapons could be easily destroyed and one can come near you and you have nothing to defend yourself except your own hands. To hold your hilt in one or both hands is better and more reliable."

Garev knew the Shade's word to be true, for his lightsabers had been recently destroyed. Leaving more exposed than he'd like to be. "You say a lightsaber is better used in one's own hand. What if that hand or better yet that person does not have the physical speed wield it or the strength to hold back his opponent?"

Garev glanced over his body and then back to the Shade. "This body you see before you, has not been used for any physical task since the age of for. I was raised heavily dependent on the Force contrary to the rest of my people." There was a since of frustration emanating from Garev.

"What do you do, when you body is to weak to stand on its own? To slow to strike something distracted directly in front of you? What would you do? HOW WOULD YOU LIVE?"

He took two steps closer to the Miralukan and looked at him from under his hood. He let the young one speak and when he was done speaking, he waited for a while before answering, though he already had an answer ready. It was very simple and he smiled to the simplicity of the solution.

"I would RUN." he answered and after that he grinned.

"Listen, if you're arms are to weak to swing a lightsaber, than there is another solution next to running. It's called training. Even you, with enough swordcombat training, can become a great fencer. It all depends on training and the will to get there. But... If you don't feel like training to use a lightsaber, then rely on the Force. The Force can be far more powerful than any physical weapon in the galaxy. Learn to control Lightning or Crushing powers. Or... The terrible Deadly Sight power, which I am learning to use. It's one of the very Dark Side powers and extremely dangerous. See? With those powers one can often kill faster than with a blaster or a blade, though many pick up the physical weapons first because they are easier to handle. Do you see what I mean? With enough training and studies and willpower, you can become anything you want. Even a great fighter."

Garev ponder the mans words for a moment. "And where would you suggest I learn such powers? I currently am practically immune to energy attacks and have minor knowledge outside of telekinesis. And I am fairly certain that this deadly sight is beyond my reach."

"There you are wrong, young one." Quentell said. "Remember that nothing is beyond your reach. You can do anything you want to, you just have to believe it and you have to learn it."

This Miralukan did not seem to understand that a great power was inside him. In every person was a great power, they just have to realise it and let it awaken. However, for some this was very hard. Quentell remembered what it was like when he first realised his sensitivity and when the jedi told him about his medichlorians. Of course he did not understand it at the time, he was too young. But this Miralukan, he was young too, but older than Quentell was back then, for Quentell was just a kid. And the Miralukan already had been trained in the Force, even though his training was not like Jedi or Shade training.

"A place where you can learn this? The Jedi Order is one, but you should not go there. They restrict themselves to the Light Side, which is a powerful side, but it's not everything. I'd suggest the Order I am a member of myself. Yes, the Shade Order would be a perfect place for you to be. Our Knights have been trained in both the Light and the Dark Side, which makes them formidable warriors. Our grandmaster, Cain Ray, has founded our Order. Maybe, if you're lucky, you will meet him someday. However, it is up to you of course, wether you choose to join our Order or not. Think about it, Miralukan, it would do you good."

Apparently Garev's lack of actual eyes would not prevent him from using such a technique. When told of the Shade Order, he found himself intrigued. This was indeed what he was searching for. Extensive, indiscriminate knowledge of the Force. After hearing of this Garev had but one question.

"Where can I find their temple?"

"I understand you're curious to the location of our enclave, but I cannot tell you here. I'd rather take you there myself. First of all, what is your name?"

"Garev Uluc, son of Maiana Uluc" Garev responded. He would use his mother's name whenever he gave a formal introduction, as it was how he was taught to introduce one's self. "And who might you be? If you don't mind my asking."

"I don't mind your question at all, as I have just asked you the same. My name is Quentell Xall, Knight of the Shade Order."

Maybe this Garev Uluc was not that bad at all. He seemed like a person who could still learn so much, but yet seemed to be quite experienced. Quentell would accept him as a brother if he would join the order.

"So, Garev Uluc, son of Maiana Uluc, do you wish to visit our enclave now, or is there something you want to do first on this planet? In any case, I will come with you. If you want to leave now then I will guide you to our destination. So, what do you want to do?"

"I come here when I need to think, my mother would bring me here as a child to take my mind off of holorecorders and training."

Garev took one last listen to the wind blowing over the leaves and the water, the sea-life underneath the surface. He took a deep breath.

"I would like to go to the Enclave"
