Somewhere on Siskeen.

The behemoth that rested in front of them was once a force to be reckoned with, but no more. Years of neglect had allowed it to fall into ruin, with entire sections crumbling or being overtaken by nature. Of what was still standing, only a portion was actually habitable. It was there the Society of Friends and their army of ancient droids could be found.

Jodoc laid among weeds with friends Krahtala and Kurs, devising a plan. Less than a hundred yards ahead of them old B2 super battle droids roamed, patrolling some programmed route. They were dumb products of dumb men. They would be easily bested. The problem at hand was the Verpine inside the derelict fortress. Together, they were a thousand times smarter than Jodoc and his companions. Finding a way to outsmart the Verpine was the key to their success.

Truth be told, when the once Mandalorian was offered this job he was bloody surprised. Failure had become his way of life, first as Mandalore the Vindictive and then as a bounty hunter, somehow letting Mak the bitch get away. He had resigned himself to petty crime for the last several months, believing himself worthy of little more. Someone, somewhere, thought otherwise.

So here Jodoc was, laying in weeds, swatting bugs off his skin, de facto leader of this mission, afraid to kriff up.

"Alright, boys," he whispered to his companions. "Any ideas?"

The huntress scanned the area around them with her eyes, watching for any openings in the patrols or weaknesses to exploit. She glanced over at their mission leader momentarily as he whispered. It seemed to her that he didn't know what to do. Fantastic. Her AXR-16 was sprawled out in front of her like an extension of her arms, hidden among the weeds but still capable of deadly range against the droids. She had it set to single burst to conserve ammo and reduce her own visibility before things got too messy. It seemed it would be up to her to come up with an idea, rather than just being muscle on the mission. Perhaps that would reflect well on the Hutts, if this leader didn't try to steal the glory.

"Thisz one thinksz it isz beszt to avoid the patrolz," she said simply, keeping the same quiet tone. "Thisz one haz zpotted a gap on the vwesztern flank. Every third droid is a bit too late to cover the perimeter. Getting in quiet szeem key."

As far as she could tell, they would be invisible if they timed it right. Moving through the droid perimeter unseen would allow them to take the facility by surprise. Whether or not they were confident, it was always best to minimize risk. The barabel huntress knew the droids would cause issue if they were put on alert too soon. Cut off the head, kill the king, capture the castle first, whatever the saying might be for the moment cycled through her head as she waited on her companions to respond.
