Does that damage take into account the enemy's armor though? For instance, @Aurius Pheonix would claim his armor would nullify attacks even though the discblade is aimed right at his neck, hence our disagreement. Would the attack still break through even then?

Time-out strikes are designed to be fight ending. As I said, the attacker gets to dictate the damage done to the part of the body that is struck. In this case, yes, that includes how it would or would not be affected by armor

I'm a bit confused here, can someone enlighten me: has the lethal post for the time-out been struck yet? I see that Aurius missed the window which would mean it's Narsi's turn and he has another 48 hours to post before anyone on the enemy team can autohit. Auto-hit posts have to be made in character, not OOC.

Also, why was another post made after the report was lodged? Reports bring the thread to a halt, that post should be removed.

Wait. Has my time out cost me my character's life, or do I have an additional chance to avoid auto hit? Now I'm confused. Not IC auto hit post has yet been made.

It certainly sounds that way unfortunately, apparently in our discussion you and I never considered the actual rules of the timeout which would ignore armor altogether to finish the fight asap...

@Phoenix just in case you want to hear it from the man himself. Though I believe he meant to say that since you timed out after your 48 it was Narsi's turn next which would end your team's round, then my post as the first on my team would auto-hit as per the rules.

Its been 48 hours since @Aurius Pheonix was up to post, seeing as how he's timed out, the discblade will autohit and embed itself into his neck. While likely not enough to flat out cleave it off, it would be deadly enough to kill him by hitting his spine.

Is this the final damage you'll be going with, or will you make it nonlethal. Need to know whether I should start drafting a new char.

I'll be honest, ruling or not, I feel kinda cheated. I have no choice but to help my family, and the resulting situation here is, although less important, still unfortunate. Furthermore, although there was no need to wait, I was made to believe that I had no chance of defense until I was done helping my sister, and every else acted on that first, by no fault of my own. At this point, with my father's injury, I'm lucky to have any time to go on this site at all. And he will continue to be my priority until we are sure he will not suffer another seizure.

Plus an immediate decapitation from an autohit? Especially under these circumstances.

If Cecil has to die so be it. I won't be pleased but it's simply a character.

Extensions are usually granted when requested, but if they are never requested then the post stands. As I said in post #55, you would have had to post before @Hol Horse (or someone on the opposing team) posted, but didn't. I'm not sure who told you to "post regardless" but unfortunately the window for posting closed when the enemy team posted.

The official ruling is that the autohit stands. Post #23 by Aurius Pheonix in the IC thread will need to be removed or edited to comply with the autohit. This ruling is final.
