SOOOOOO
@Phoenix I need a bit of clarification regarding some of the timeout stuff

see that Aurius missed the window which would mean it's Narsi's turn and he has another 48 hours to post before anyone on the enemy team can autohit.

@Hol Horse @Narsi @Melania @Aurius Pheonix @Zaphod Norblebrox @Chance Mills

At this point, you have until someone else on the enemy team posts to time you out. They are under no obligation to wait.

I was under the impression that, in a 3v3 or 2v2, the timeouts went as such. Jedi #1 times out after 48 hours, and thus his turn is skipped leaving 48 hours for ONLY Jedi #2 to post.

Are you saying that instead the entire side gets the full combined time to post. Ex. Jedi #1 and #2 each have 48 hours to post, Jedi #1 fails to post within his 48 hours but he gets #2's time to post as well before his turn is considered skipped. And that they can post regardless of original order for their side?

@Narsi It depends on how the thread is being handled. Technically speaking, some PvP threads have gone entirely on a round-based approach where combatants on the same team have interchanged posting orders. Usually this is not the recommended approach, though, as it can become confusing. That being said, if the first two people on one team post within an hour, the third person still only has 48 hours to post.

The main point I was making, though, was that until the auto-hit is written IC, it hasn't happened yet.

Is an instakill acceptable for all autohit? (Might be useful)

It depends where the strike was directed. If the strike was to a wrist, then you'd likely cut the wrist off. If it's to the neck or head, that'd be a lethal blow. Depends on where the strike was aimed

as @Chance Mills did not post in 48 hours my hit to his leg hits and so he is taken out of the fight right?

Could I ask you to edit in a bit more damage to your post? I'd intended the attack to be fairly draining move that, without prep, would likely not be used without consequence and it seems as if your character is simply shrugging it off as nothing special, despite taking it head on. I'm not saying he should be incapacitated, but he basically just got whacked by a giant hammer and sent flying, and he's not even the slightest bit dazed...
Also, fairly minor and probably not important, but the dust cloud should be completely gone from the instant my force wave is completed.

No problem, edited in some more sentences of him being annoying while being in pain. My actions still stand though, you're free to try and stop me but I'm pretty much intending to leave the battle and retreat with this post since my partners are dead. I'm basically ceding you and Mel the battle though since as it stands everything is terrible when you're a sith.

Hihihi.

Gonna have to ask you to make a small edit in your post. All of it checks out fine save for the distance between Gren and Sal currently.

Before Gren launched his force attack Sal was already hovering around the entrance of the base as I noted. With the raw force push he's essentially been knocked back straight in front of the entrance as a result. Its a minor detail, but the devil is in those ones the most. As it is now, he's almost exactly 12 meters away, a fair bit farther than how far your post seems to imply.

Thanksies :)

I'm not sure I agree
It was stated near the start of the thread that there was about a dozen meters between our characters (Jedi) and the outpost. Cecil then continued forward some before creating his dust cloud, the very same that both Gren and Sal rushed into. So by my count, Gren would be closer to the outpost then at the beginning (where it was a dozen meters) and Sal would still be slightly in front of the outpost even with his knockback. While the specifics are definitely arguable, I'm pretty confident its at least less than a dozen meters.

Ahh, thats fair. I forgot to account for the fact that you charged into the cloud saber in hand. Seeing as how I didn't think you'd chase me down as I tried to retreat and cede the battle, I didn't bother debating the strength of your force push without any buildup posts. Can't really go back and debate it now since I accepted it. Feels bad, but that's how it goes.

Thats checkmate for me then, good job my dude, good game. Feel free to blow me up in your post with the lethal concussive bolt or I could just do it myself when my turn comes around.

Losing a character sucks, I know. Don't be too broken up about it.

Simply learn from this thread. See what you did right, and what you did wrong. And don't make the same mistakes.

Was planning on making a last ditch effort to give @Meliana some frostbite, but screw it if we already admit defeat

Well unfortunately, main battles are pretty important and all that.
As for her force push, I did acknowledge in a previous ooc post that it would be a pretty draining move, and I did do a little prep in my IC post before the push, not a lot but it was basically her main action besides moving forward.

But ya, gg, hopefully we can have a rematch sometime
