There was one in New Jersey last week.

Just thought I'd share.

This is just the beginning.

End of the World 2012.

Believe it.

My paranoia bar just went up.

Hawaii are preparing for tsunamis.

Edit: Nevermind. Looks like it was only like 8 foot waves. Hawaii seems to have dodged a bullet.

I was talking to a friend who lives there last night...

She tells me its total chaos..prisoners broke free from the prison..the roads are destroyed..And some towns don't have electricity or gas..

Chile is a pretty developed nation for the region and probably has the infrastructure to keep the internet going unless she was in the immediate disaster zone.

Additionally, when did he say anything about the internet?

I never heard of "friends" making multinational-multicontinental phone calls. And I doubt they wrote each other with carrier pigeons.

Then you're ignorant, because it happens all the time.

I'm not saying he didn't talk to his friend over the internet. I'm just saying that to suggest internet is the only way normal way to do it is just wrong.
