This thread will be for OOC and difficulty checks. We’ll be following simple rules based on a D20 system. Before rolling, state your intent so I may DM properly.

Rules:
1) D20 will be the default rolls for most actions.
2) Request intent before rolling.
3) Modifier dice will be decided by DM
4) General OOC post is okay here

Objective: Intimidate Massassi guard to gain entrance.

Player: @Lord Kyle

You: Choose which skill will be your D20 (Intimidation or Force Fear) that will decide which is your modifier. If you choose to use a force power, you’ll need to wait for one post before using another.

Me: Rolling D20 to decide Massassi resistance. (No modifier)

That was a successful intimidation. The Massassi guard isn’t quaking but he’d rather just let you in and avoid a fight. However, if you want to be extra scary, use a D4 then add that to your score.

Xanthe using force fear to increase her intimidation of the Massassi bouncer (modifier of previous roll):

[Dice]d4 [/dice]

Final results:
Xanthe: 11 + 1 = 12
Massassi: 5

If I do a dice roll to stun them both by smashing their heads together will I have to roll for any actions after that?

You will but any action like movement will be allowed in your post without a roll. In order to keep things semi-realistic we'll do a group initiative check after your first action. Example: You roll for a surprise attack (d20) no modifiers. Then I roll for their perception (d20). Afterwards, we do a perception check for the group of gang members. Since it's dark, and they're drunk, the roll for them must equal 13 or higher. I'll go ahead to roll for defense. You are more than welcome to change your action.

Perception/Reflex check on gang members

Ok... suprise attack on two gang members (any modifier needed for surprise?)
[dice]d20[/dice]

Should I also do a roll for how hard I hit them together with a strength modifier?

Since Xanthe has good dexterity, add a plus d4. If it still fails, imediately roll a D20 for initiative.

Okay so here's what happened. You lung at the guards to attack but they manage to dodge, due in part to their experience with bar fights. They stumble a bit as they do, allowing you to follow up an attack.

What would you like to do?

Roll for lunging at both of them and throwing them to the ground, by grabbing their faces and slamming them down headfirst. (Reposted because I tried to roll 2 different die but it just added them together.)

Dex bonus (this isn't really necessary, but who cares)

That's a natural D20 so you have a critical success. You grab their heads in your monstrous paws then slam them down. Roll for damage (d20) with a plus d4 to strength and a plus d6 for a critical roll.

Rolling for defense:
