I'm very sorry, but would it possible to freeze our thread as it is? I enjoyed it, and it is a real pity for me to wish to prematurely end it, but I am trying to renounce all the threads that I can. I'll be eventually quitting this site due to storyline reasons.

    Timeline ending soon?

For someone like me who slowly develops a character over two-four years (and the upper limit is only set because my home-rp-site went down), these timeline switches seem rather absurd. ..I understand my roleplaying style is not the only one, and that some people might enjoy 'changing the decor'...

    The germs of impossible

In her world, words had power. In her world, there was no mindless war, no subterfuge, no suffering. There were pancakes and plants and numbers and words, words to cling to the universe and cut it into bite-sized pieces. A good discussion was food for thought for an infovore like Zee. “I...

Food for the Fleet [Jedi mission]

It was a scientifically established fact that the strength of the police in a given state tends to be inversely proportional to the stringency of their uniforms. On one side of the spectrum, there were law-enforcing organizations such as the Imperial Security Bureau, who wrote their own laws in...

    The germs of impossible

Zee stuck a corner of her tongue out. “Magical organic chemistry, then. Happy?” The more she discussed, the more she felt the effervescent energy of arguments coursing through her veins. “Fun thing about science: thirty-one thousand years of Sith Alchemy, and your statement could still be...

    The germs of impossible

There was enough innate superiority in the Sith’s manner to make a minor king blush. It brushed off Zee without leaving a trace, like a water-soluble poison trickling off the oily complexion of a nerd caught in an engaging hologame. “Intriguing, though terribly inefficient.” She declared, her...

    The germs of impossible

“To allow that fear to stop one from thinking means a death of the mind. That’s petty.” Zee’s calm was incisive. “Wouldn’t it be fun,” she laughed, spinning on her heels, “to invent science that could make people live longer and longer until they’re bored of living, to build ships that could...

Food for the Fleet [Jedi mission]

Was it in the nature of a healer to care about their companions so much, or was it a general Jedi affliction? Zee didn’t know. She accepted Sil’s reassurance with the naturalness of a child used to being cared for, and rested her head against the back of his hand. She didn’t know what had...

[Guide] Writing Military Science Fiction, Star Wars Edition

Neat! It actually made me remember an interesting little tidbit on war in space, which I thought I should post. It's from the book "Ender's Shadow", by Orson Scott Card. Some things are not applicable to this universe, because the respective narrator only had a single planet to deal with. But I...

    The germs of impossible

Glowing irises sprouted from the darkness, their warm light merely outlining the crimson shadows on the stranger’s face. For a moment, Zee’s heart tightened, as if wishing to remain silent and unnoticed. The calm voice which followed, however, was enough to give the girl the courage to face it...

    [OPEN] A Late Lunch

OOC: I hope it’s not wrong that I invite someone as well. I imagined that Zee would do it. @Krajin – Feel free to reply or not, as you wish. I don’t want to force you ^^’ “That’s interesting. I doubt I could learn it, though.” Zee replied to Dawn. She stared at the other girl’s feet as if every...

    The germs of impossible

Following the unexpected announcements of the Jedi Order, Zee had spent five days alone, seething with the sort of pent-up emotions that were best expressed by teenagers in dark clothes slamming doors, shouting at you that you don’t understand (a typical image of a Sith Acolyte). Close enough...

Food for the Fleet [Jedi mission]

“Cheers, Capt’n.” Zee jokingly saluted, thankful for Hishamori’s ability to pilot. She hurried to the other side of the room, making frantic last-minute checks on the contents of her bag. The Zelosian wasn’t very strong, so the bag only consisted of the minimum necessary. It included, among...

Food for the Fleet [Jedi mission]

Three-way holochess often turned into a seesaw story of alliances and betrayals, like the original war of the Three Empires. Zee was content that it hadn’t gotten to that, yet. First of all, 2 versus 1 fights tended to be predictable. Secondly, rocks had more skill in scheming than Zee. Yet…Her...

The knight, the fool and the mastermind

Under the dull reverberation of explosions, something clinked nearby. The floor shook under her, gently rolling a curled-up Zee onto some cardboard boxes. She whistled shrilly in surprise, her heart oscillating between the childish trust that nothing could possibly hurt her, and the equally...
