Well, we both imagine the Sith differently. While you sound like you prefer the animals that measure strength by their lightsaber skill and rely only on themselves, I see the Sith more like grand manipulators. Palpatine, Hitler, Stalin, they all made the people believe they are doing the best for them, then used them to gain power and project their own ideals into the people, making those who served them willing to die for the cause.

To show the people Sith can do everything better than the Jedi, so when the fanatical monks start doing their terrorist attacks and assassinations, it won't take much of a propaganda to properly turn everyone against the Jedi.

Oh they do. That's why they have an Empire, to install order and control people with it.
