As I stated to Sreeya maiming as disarmament are alternatives to killing the opponent. Killing them is accepted and not frowned upon by any means, in Audroti's eyes if they died in battle they were weak and unworthy of being a Sith anyways. However, if they survive the desert is their test to regain their right to be on the path to becoming a Sith. You failed to defeat am opponent but you defeated Korriban. Now I am not CHANGING the rules but that is an alternative you can discuss amongst yourselves, and the desert isn't certain death.

Posted. You can skip past the part where we go forth and issue your character with equipment, btw - I know some writers find those little details tedious, but it's what our characters would do in this situation, so it's what we must write ;)

Sorry to say I could be of no help there whatsoever: my historical knowledge doesn't generally extend to China or Asia in general, beyond Russian Socialism/Communism and the Cold War, so I can't offer anything to you there. Just hope it doesn't prove too difficult for you to work out.
