Welcome back man! It's Rina's turn to post, I vm'd her about it yesterday and still waiting on a reply. If she doesn't post soon I'll post with Kajiko anyway... and we'll see what happens.
It depends how perceptive he is, but it'll probably take him a while to completely shake the notion that there are laws of physics, or limits to what is possible. Even after he's cottoned onto what Lecchamemnon's doing, he probably won't be able to consciously control things for a while at least. And yeah, it make sense that he'd start small, with something familiar to him - like a sword, or gun. These things would probably just be at his side when he enters, as he's subconsciously wondering how he's going to win anyway - whether he notices early or late is up to you.
No no, not intelligence per say, it has to do with their function.
First-Degree Droids are droids to handle all things mathematical and scientific. Anything sophisticated, like a medical droids to a analysis/computing droids.
Second-Degree Droids are also droids that handle complex tasks, but more along the technical paths, like engineering and maintenance. Astromech droids (like R2-D2) fall in this category.
Third-Degree Droids are probably what most people think about when they think "droid". They interact with sentients, utilizing diplomacy, translation/interpretation, even teaching. Protocol droids (like C-3P0) fall in line to this category.
Fourth-Degree Droids are probably what people RP most often, and represent droids purposed for military or security. In a nutshell, they're battle droids.
Fifth-Degree Droids are "grunts" as far as the droid classes go, and are designed for hard labor and menial tasks.
