Well, she knows the name of her squad leader and assumes by the way Roark is interacting with the men, especially when he addresses Grif as 'Sergeant' she intuitively puts two and two together and assumes the man with Scryer is Grif. My intention wasn't to metagame, sorry if it came across like that, if we need clarification, I can just edit my post. Though I'm pretty sure Roark also stated it was "our CO and sergeant"
