Ah, I understand. Given that, I'll keep Chiron as a Bralor then. Along a similar vein: does joining the clan mean that he gets to/has to change his last name to Bralor, or is that reserved for those who were born into the Aliit?

Kinda a side question here, but I figured given your seniority you'd be better equipped to answer: how exactly do Mandalorian minor clans work? I know they are essentially subordinate to a major clan, but autonomous in many respects, but how does a clan change status? Also, can anyone start a clan, or for that matter, join another clan once they have joined one? I'm essentially toying with the possibility of Chiron starting his own minor clan under Clan Bralor (possibly not for quite some time, however), and I was wondering about just how viable that would be?

I would, if possible, prefer to do some kind of 1 on 1 thread for Chiron's introduction to the clan, but after that, as I said in the clan thread, I think the community thread is a great idea, and I certainly intend to make extensive use of it.

I've actually been spending no small amount of time thinking about that very thing. I'm, as of yet, somewhat unsure. Ideas I've been toying with so far:

- Simple, up-front introduction and statement of intent. This would likely result in some amount of testing, and/or a probationary period of Chiron.

- Trial by fire. What I mean by this is having Chiron join into an existing combat (of whatever form), taking the side of Aliit Bralor and proving himself (and his intentions) by direct actions. This, of course, would require a pre-existing conflict of some kind for him to enter into.

Beyond that I haven't really come up with much, and I'm certainly open to suggestions.
