  • Sorry mate, at this very moment I'd rather not start any more threads. After the time-skip though for sure! :)
Truly. I can come up with things as I write without plot points or a specific goal, but with creating characters, I need planning.
My first choice was a Jedi, but he was very poorly written because I rushed through his process, eager to get involved. But then I came up with a new concept, not knowing his faction at the time. I spent two weeks writing him up, and he turned out lovely. After looking over him, I thought he might fit with the Sith, and so a Sith he quickly became. He won't be active until after the skip, but I'm quite proud of him, and I have high hopes. If you'd like to take a curious peek, you can find him in my signature. Anyway, my point is, I wouldn't worry about a faction until you've thought up a character and fell in love with them. It's a lot easier to choose a faction, then. But that's just me. Some people know exactly what they want, and they make it happen. It's lucky for them, I usually take weeks to come up with a decent concept. :P
Nope! I'm younger. I've never been ridiculed, however. Rather, I've often been praised, and some people don't believe I am as young as I am, given my talent and affection for writing and reading (for my age, at least). But I am a Star Wars noob, so I'm waiting for the day where I horribly embarrass myself. XP. I've recently been taking a bit of a break from writing though, as my school work has been draining me. I take college classes, and they're very time consuming. After the time skip, though, I'll be getting a lot more involved. Perhaps we could roleplay, then?
You're still a bit older than me, but I haven't seen many people younger than twenty on here. Show those old people how real teenagers can write! :D
