No, sorry. It was a sign up thread, and from the sign ups I picked out five people that suited the class (in that their characters wouldn't be corrupted from what they learned). My character (The Lore Master) spent a goodly amount of time vetting the people who asked to join, and it's now been filled.

Well, Acolytes/Padawans should normally have training sabers. That said, I don't think they're going to scream at you for barbed blades or vibroblades etc. An ornately crafted lightsaber might be strange, though. Just make it fit in with your character.

Also, ordinarily crafting your first lightsaber is a part of training, which is why most Padawan's don't have theirs.
