Sorry, Finals week so I am a bit slow on the uptake. It is a liquid metallic hydrogen cannon. Initially I will be aiming for some sort of vehicle as the weapons platform. With any luck I can scale it up into ship based weapons and down to infantry/grenades.

When it says an independent faction needs at least three members, that is players right? Number of NPC's don't count I am assuming. What are the rules regarding invention of new technology or new ship design? I have several ideas in those areas but many of them to not correlate with cannon...
