  • Hm. In all honesty, scouts don't need armor - if they need their armor, they did their job wrong.
This might be a good thing to start off with for your character, though I'd recommend replacing the plating with stygian-triprismatic polymer, and perhaps looking into a mesh layer of it beneath. That should help against electronic scanning. A thinsuit beneath would be a good idea, as well as SureGrip climbing boots and gloves.
It might actually be better to be done before, that way Marcus could have one, or more, people in mind to recruit for his clan when he goes back.
How heavy are you willing for the armor to be? Generally speaking, you can get two out of three from weight, protection, mobility at a given price range. Getting high scores in all three (so to speak) is very, very expensive and not exactly recommended for a beginning character.
As a side note, the Manticora-4 is an item I'm looking to use in my 'toolkit' of publically-available items. It's not very bulky, though I wouldn't exactly call it a hidden weapon. The ring around the forearm and the overhang above the wrist is something of a giveaway.

A powersuit is, at its simplest, an exoskeletal assist that augments the wearer's strength and speed. It typically includes power linkups and requires a power source of its own, most commonly energy cells but sometimes a built-in power generator. More advanced versions include things like AIs, built-in weapons with target assist, medical equipment to treat the wearer, that sort of thing.
You want me to make a thread where Konstantine and Marcus meet, or you? The setting would likely be a bar, as Konstantine drinks often ;)
I seem to have something of a knack for engin33ring and mad sciencing stuff, yeah. What are you looking for the armor to do? Protective capabilities, a powersuit or unpowered armor, built-in weapons, movement capabilities, that sort of thing.
I had no idea who you were, why you were writing on my page, or why you were posting in my thread until I saw your post. XD I will get a post up once I'm off work.
    He probably wouldn't actually :p
As a character, Konstantine wouldn't mind getting adopted granted that the Mandos at least partially understand that, as 501st, the other members of 501st are his Vod and first priority, Skirata would become like the extended family(that we actually enjoy the company of xD).
Well, I only have an empty character slot if Nora dies. And since it is not certain that she will, it is not certain of whether or not I can make a skirata and assist you. However, I have an Imperial Sergeant in the 501st, a legion based almost solely off the Mandalorians and originating from Clones trained by Mandos, and I would be happy to use him to assist you in reestablishment the Skiratas by training other characters and ICly(and me OOCly) directing indie mercs to you.
    Mmmhhh,
Since it is 50-50 that Nora might die(unless I say I just want her done with xD), I could have Konstantine Arkyadvich(Trained Imperial Sergeant in the 501st) assist in booting up Skirata as a trainer.
He's done some tinkering, yeah, though I admit a lot of my designs are beyond him. What did you have in mind?
    Heh, thanks.
He's coming along... slowly. I wouldn't say I have big plans for him, really - which is a part of the problem. I like the character and he's fun to play, but he doesn't really do anything by himself.
She has information that is considered highly valuable to the Imperium, which(hopefully) is enough to get her a trial by combat, which I'm quite positive I can win.
I think I'd love to help, inn a bit though, my Mando is in a bit of a pinch that I need to get her out of soon.
I do. But I haven't been on my own computer these last few days, so I haven't had access to MSN for a while, sorry.

If you want, I can send you a PM with my MSN adress for when I do have access to MSN.
