Open, Ask, and Closed determines who is involved in the story, but not deter the thread from organically progressing. I brought the powder keg, sure, because I thought it would make the situation interesting. Matt provided the ignition. I may be wrong, but I interpret that as him looking for a fight.

Violence is a malleable term. But I'll play by the rules.

The reason why I sometimes hate a NO DEATHS and no violence rule is because you can't magically place some rule like that on a story. You can't set up a powder keg and ignition, and say "no deaths". Once you have a character capable of violence and then provide motive, you can't stop them from making the next logical decision. Anyway, this is the controversy I stand by. Since you have an OPEN tag, you could theoretically bring in a giant frickin Sith Lord, and no casino security is gonna faze him.

How can you interfere without violence? Or is Borga still influenced by the nonviolence rule?
