  • I was planning on intervening yes. Akira's a talented seer, and her Force Sense and foresight and everything are her most powerful abilities. She'll receive a vision of his need for help long before he needs it, but I imagine she'll only find him and get to him just in the nick of time. I'm just waiting for this scene where the hunters receive their assignment to finish up before I join, and Akira snaps out of her vision, having observed the whole thing even before it happened.
It would have been great to have a Sith ask to be involved a few days ago. There could have been an awesome duel! But it just feels a bit late now.
Well, it could work. Maybe. But we're stowing away on a ship and then possibly going our separate ways. My plans were to try and heal what I can on the journey, and also answer questions about the Force and the war and such. I doubt this will last more than a handful of posts each.
hey, if you don't mind, I'd like to join your open thread with your character with my character Slypher. Like the idea?
Lol. I'm surprised more people haven't, actually; there are only two that I know of who have accepted the challenge.
Hey there, as Earlich mentioned to you, he's invited me to join the Loose Ends thread to swoop in and protect you from the bad guys. Is this cool with you?
Lol. That's right, you're fella doesn't need rescuing from bandits. Actually, I like that idea for the name confusion as well. Yes, I can certainly do that. It's your character, after all.

We'll see if he survives long enough to see the placard. :)
I've appealed to your guardian Jedi, so hopefully she'll rise to the occasion and come to rescue you. In addition, a thought occurred to me about your character's name, and I wanted to run it by you before I incorporated it.

"Prose A" could be the title of the artwork that Rackham wanted to convert his body into. The ID that gave Prose his name could be the title placard that is placed beneath an art piece in a gallery. I dunno, what do you think?
Heh, it'll be neat. Don't forget to hit up that woman who was helping you in your introductory thread; it may well save your skin.
"I'd like to have barely survived an encounter with Rackham, and maybe even have caused some short term memory loss in a small way, but for all that to have occured sometime between a week and a month before the real reason for Prose's extensive memory loss and physical conditions."

I'd just like to clarify, do I take it that you do not wish Rackham to be the cause of Prose A's mutilations? The half-shaved head and the discolored eye, etc? I'd hate to make any allusions to his having altered your character's appearance if that wasn't what you had in mind.
I assume he wouldn't mistake a living man for a dead one, so I'm sure that he'd be aware that he failed. That being said, he'll be frantically searching to finish the job; he can't leave any loose ends.
Anyhow, just a thought for your consideration. Let me know if you like the idea or if you have any suggestions of your own.
Hey Prose, I just had an idea for your character's past thingymawhatzit. My merchant character, Jack Rackham is something of a psychopathic killer at heart. He also considers it to be a form of "art," so he often mutilates the victims or converts their bodies into some sort of funerary memorabilia. Now it's just a thought, but here is my idea:

Your character could be one of his victims that survived.

0_0 As for the memory loss, Rackham usually uses chemical compounds on victims in order to insure their docile behavior. A bad reaction to these mixtures in addition to your concussion could result in very hazy memory; dead brain cells and all that, what?

As for his past and how he came to Rackham, it could be that your character was a smuggler for Rackham's people trafficking business, and that a failure on his part resulted in Rackham going ballistic.
