I lost interest at "feminazis."
With an end result that's not just some petty law or regulation to appease people who have no clue what they're talking about.
Knowing full well that this might end with a big BANHAMMER shaped dent in my skull, I'm going to try and go to bat @KaaneThere's a societal bias in which men will often dismiss women as "bossy" when they're being assertive, in ways that men would not dismiss other men. It's generally subconscious, done with no active malice, but it makes it harder for women to advance in the workforce.
But sure, let's compare them to Nazis instead.
No, it's just taboo to say things that are racist, sexist, and what not. What you described is incredibly overblown, and it really doesn't happen that much. What DOES happen a lot is people saying racist or sexist things and then trying to say they're not racist or sexist. That's when they get smacked down.Knowing full well that this might end with a big BANHAMMER shaped dent in my skull, I'm going to try and go to bat @Kaane
What I think he means is that it's becoming taboo in certain ways to criticize people inside a minority. Its like Islamaphobia, the second anyone says the word "Muslim" and the next words out of their mouth aren't praise or sympathy, that word gets tossed out and the conversation ends.
I think.
don't kill me
True, but its not like certain groups don't use these tactics to stop inquiry. No, it's just taboo to say things that are racist, sexist, and what not. Also, I'm not an admin. Why/how would I ban you? Why would you be banned for saying what you just said? That fear defies common sense and the logic of what actually happens on SWRP.
And the other side of that equation is people saying things like "feminazis" to silence criticism of the status quo.True, but its not like certain groups don't use these tactics to stop inquiry.

And yeah, I figured I wouldn't get banned, but I have an admin and the ex-site owner on the opposite side of this issue. I'm a little paranoid about admins going authoritarian.
I was referring to how you can't talk about human rights violations in Israel or Saudi Arabia without someone calling you a bigot. And the other side of that equation is people saying things like "feminazis" to silence criticism of the status quo.

Yes, women have no idea about birth control, abortion, workplace perceptions towards women, any of that.

You're here to get away from your shit, not bring your shit to other people.
