[fancybox2]ATTRIBUTES:
Zip is abnormally strong for a member of his race, due mostly to having led the Mandalorian lifestyle since he was young, this has led to him being somewhat taller than average, but still within normal ranges, of his race as well as heavier as he has a considerable amount of natural muscle mass.

While having left the majority of his natural culture behind in favor of the Mandalorian lifestyle and traditions, Zip maintains his natural distrust for the majority of the Galaxy, this distrust is lighter, but still present, among others of Mandalorian descent.

Zip is an incredible warrior, more than capable of holding his own against single or multiple opponents in the fields of blaster combat, melee combat, as well as being able yo perform adequately in an interstellar dog-fight.

Zip's fantastic ability to perform in combat is also coupled with a basic ignorance for most skills existing outside of combat.[/fancybox2]

[fancybox2]PERSONALITY:
Zip, going by the name Zar Skirata for the last nineteen years, has a heavily Mandalorian influenced personality. He puts his "Family" (His girlfriend and her son) before much else, dedicated to aiding in raising the boy, who's biological father had died, the traditional Mandalorian way.

Ha'rangir, and the Manda has also influenced Zip, strengthening his belief in a collective oversoul, driving him to strive for greatness and to assist in his community and to all of Mandalore as a whole. As a result of this Zip has become a sort of staple of his small village/community as driving force behind its success.

Zip, does however maintain a small bit instilled from his earlier years of life whereas he is quick to distrust and extremely slow to trust most peoples in the Galaxy, although this may not be outwardly evident, and is less so among other Mandalorians, it maintains its presence in his everyday thoughts.

Although honor and pride is a major goal of Zip's this does not stop him from occasionally taking part in mischief, often utilizing his natural shape shifting abilities preemptively to avoid the fallout of whatever mischief he had caused.
This ' Mischief ' has never been at the expense of someone's life however, as it is typically used for practical jokes, or similar situations even though he does possess the ability to cause considerably more harm with his 'power.'

Because of his Clawdite ability to shape shift's weakness of not being able to add body mass to himself, Zip maintains a regular workout routine that keeps him on the larger side(More Muscular) that is typical for his species to maintain his visage of being a natural Mandalorian.

In the recent months Zip has become considerably more self centered than ever before, striving for more personal greatness and wealth than for community development. Not to say he isn't still a considerable member of his village, or the Dominion as a whole, but instead that he has been willing to take the less than typically reputable jobs and assignments than most.[/fancybox2]

[fancybox2]BIOGRAPHY:

  • Early Childhood
Zip was born to a modest, but soon to be successful refugee Clawdite family on Corellia. Zip was the youngest of three children by a good deal of years, his oldest sibling being twenty years older than him followed a middle sibling who was sixteen at the time of Zips birth. Throughout Zips childhood he was cared for and loved a great deal by all of his family members.

By age five his siblings had all moved off world to attempt to create lives for themselves, meanwhile his father's business had begun to flow a decent amount of credits into the family, as a result his father moved the Zip and his mother off world and took them to Alderaan to pursue his business there. While on Alderaan Zip was taught a multitude of different languages, coming to master some of them and being able to communicate efficiently in many others.

After only a year on Alderaan, Zip's father's business had begun to fail. It was maintaining an income only suitable to preserve the business itself leaving little to no extra profit for the man to take home, as a result the family decided to call it quits and move back to Corellia.

Before the family could make it however, they were attacked at a boarding terminal for a commercial freighter, Zip's parents were killed in the attack by a Rodian who had attempted to rob them of what little credits they had left, the robbery however turned to murder.
    1293026-crimealley_e4a7b57a2f4081be7a440c7ba34d042e.jpg

As Zip sobbed over his parents bodies, a married pair of Mandalorians captured the Rodian, and turned him over to the local authorities. they then took Zip as their own, together they traveled the Galaxy for a while before taking him to live on their home world of Mandalore. During their travels however they helped Zip and encouraged him to use his species' natural ability to take the form of a natural looking Mandalorian human in their society, as such Zip and his parents decided he would assume the form of a natural born Mandalorian, and not allow anyone outside the absolute necessary to learn of his true identity. The Mandalorian couple began claiming him as their natural born son.

  • Young Adulthood
Zip, his new parents and him deciding on the name Zar and taking their last name of Skirata, was able to blend into the Mandalorian society quite easily, especially with the support of his adoptive parents, the lifestyle was also easy for Zip to adjust to.

During this time Zip excelled learning at home with his new father who taught him the Mandalorian traditions of warfare, the ways of the clan, and the crafting of his own armor. He spent his first few years on the new planet learning nearly non-stop all that there was to know.

At the age of ten Zip had begun to excel so greatly that he was permitted by his adoptive father to begin specialized training on things much more practical than that taught at his age such as Piloting, Blaster warfare, Martial and Melee combat, and various other things he would come to learn later but yearned to know immediately. As a result his father began training him nearly everyday in the choreography of war and combat.

By nineteen Zip was ready to fully strike out on his own as a 'Mandalorian' having learned and practiced as much if not more than someone who had been born into the life.

  • Adulthood
Zip struck off into the Galaxy to forge his own path. During his nearly four year adventure into the Galaxy Zip found it to be a cruel and mostly inhospitable place, although his life was never in danger, thanks to his training. During this time Zip watched the worlds around him as they withered and sometimes destroyed themselves. It made him sick to have seen the way the war between the Sith and the Republic had taken its toll on the majority of the Galaxy, even the outer rim worlds had been affected by the strife.

Once Zip had received word that the Republic had fallen he quickly made his way back to his 'new' Home world of Mandalore, after he had confirmed his family to be alive and well, and thanked the gods for it. Zip then decided to settle down to live amongst the community once again, quickly becoming a staple by his overly helpful personality, truthfully he was mostly just glad his community still existed.

After a year of living among and building with his community, Zip had decided to officially join up with the Dominion, to aid in the betterment and protection of all Mandalorians.

Armour:
CCT MK. II Mandalorian armor:
tumblr_mk8rm9Ybq11s975v9o1_500.jpg

These functions are standard on the armor and are placed here for my convenience.

Functions
Function 1: Standard Jetpack

The jetpack on the CCT MK. II is a high-grade maneuverability device that is capable of top speeds of nearly seventy-five (75) kilometers per hour in its flight-mode. It can maintain these speeds for around ten minutes of continuous flight. In combat-mode, the jetpack allows for short bursts letting the wearer move approximately 10 meters in just a few seconds. This makes it useful to scale short buildings, span gaps and crevasses, and gives the user enhanced mobility in combat. Due to the high speeds of flight-mode, it cannot be used in combat. The jetpack on the MK II is incapable of using a mounted rocket weapon due to its more compact size compared to the Z-4.

Function 2: Wrist Weapon Hardpoint
The left or right wrist (depending on the Mandalorian) has been fitted with a hardpoint that allows for the attachment of various weaponry. Given the pragmatic nature of most Mandalorians, the designers of the CCT MK II have created modular wrist options for the hard point. These options can range from a wrist mounted flamethrower with two (2) internal gel capsules, one wrist mounted rocket launcher with two (2) missiles, or a microfilament net launcher capable of being shot up to 15 meters and rated to capture a creature up to a Wookiee in size(Left Wrist).

Function 3: Integrated Heads-Up Display
The integrated HUD of the CCT MK II is slightly more advanced than its original counterpart. It is capable of giving temperature and environmental readouts, has an internal compass, and can provide armor integrity feedback as well as an 8x rangefinder. The gauntlet weapons can also be controlled via the HUD, but only through command words. Blinking patterns are above the limits of the CCT MK II.

Function 4: Wild-Card Function
The fourth function of the CCT MK II has been left to the decision of the wearer. Options include a second wrist hard point, specially designed boots with magnetic soles, or a retractable wrist blade. one wrist mounted rocket launcher with two (2) missiles(Right Wrist).

Other Gear:
1X Pair Auditory Frequency Modulator(Buds)
3X Thermal Detonators.
1X SCKO Grenades.
1X C-03 Caltrop Grenades.[/fancybox2]

for note Mando's don't really discriminate against species as long as you want to be mando and accept everything that comes with that you're okay in their books. supernovas are no longer usable as they have been archived and you want to check your armour over next couple days since tech is currently changing with new rules here. but anyway welcome to the clan if you want you can message if you want to step up a relationship between kann and zip/zar

Thanks man! I'd rather keep him as a hidden gem though you know? maybe one day that'll come in handy somewhere to his superiors.

Just a heads up, that armor he is using is no longer approved. The customization related to the scatterweave and armorweave may need approval.

Hey! Friendly neighborhood Slenderman here. I'm not, like, a member of the Mandalorian Leadership team or anything, but I thought i'd take the time to go through and critique your profile. Unfortunately, it contains quite a few significant issues that will most likely inhibit your character being approved.
  • Attributes: I understand that him being a warrior would add muscle mass, but how would it make him taller?
  • Most of the issues are here in the Bio, although there are others. First, him being a Clawdite doesn't seem to have any influence on him as a character. He could be corellian or rodian and it would be exactly the same. His early history even contradicts what we know about Clawdites from Legends. Most Clawdites where segregated into slums on their home planet, unable to leave and heavily persecuted. Those that could leave where super loners or military types like Zam Wessel. Suffice to say, there's basically no way your backstory would be possible.
  • His parents are murdered, and a Mandalorian couple just picks him up and takes him on adventures? Right off a commercial transport? Did they execute him right there on the transport? Where local police involved? The situation just seems really unlikely.
  • Like others said, Mandalorians don't really care about what species people are, so his new parents wouldn't have any reason to believe that, and since Mandalorians focus more on family than on blood relations, it wouldn't matter if he was their natural son either. Additionally, staying in a human form for basically his entire life would not only be incredibly uncomfortable, but would require meditation and intense focus, as well as the fact that he's still young, and only master Clawdite Shapeshifters can retain their form while asleep.
  • Mandalorians don't really have a standard school. At least, not to my knowledge. It's mostly information taught by families or learned on the job. There might be schools in Sundari, but that's kind of up in the air.
  • "By nineteen Zip was ready to fully strike out on his own as a 'Mandalorian' having learned and practiced as much if not more than a 'True Mandalorian'." True Mandalorians aren't really a thing. Mandalorian is a culture that accepts any species, and most Mandalorians don't prejudice people adopted into it. Everyone is equal.
  • Why is he ashamed of being able to use the force? There's really no reason behind that. Even then, why does he allow himself to be trained in it?
  • Skills: His skills seem really high. He doesn't seem to have any real weaknesses.
  • Equipment: The Mandalorian MKII Armor was moved to the unapproved section for violating the new tech rules, so you can't use it. Additionally, as your character is a force user, you are not allowed to have any extra equipment on your armor, so anything attached to the armor you choose will have to be removed. Adding Scatterweave to the armor would require it going through the tech board. I also don't think you can add Particle Blaster tech to a non-Particle Blaster weapon.

Some slight changes made. Will finish soon.

(Force Abilities scrapped, armor changed, some background changes made)
Not finished yet, but the scatterweave says in its tech write up that it can come in liquid form and have the armor(or even a ship) dipped in it, or painted with it. So I'm a bit confused what to do there, if each characters armor needed a separate tech write up to use an already approved item we'd flood the boards.

Two items might be individually approved, but combined may not be approvable. It would probably count as a function of the armor, but again i'd think you'd need to submit it. @Clayton @Elijah Brockway

"Scatterweave comes in two different forms. The first form is as a liquified coating that hardens onto solid surfaces. This variation is used to coat armor, either by having pieces dipped into it, or being applied to a surface. It can be applied to any set of armor"

Armorweave was an armored cloth material.

And Spacer's leather was just a special leather.

The inner suit of the armor is comprised of Spacer's leather and Armorweave. Pretty standard stuff.

The cape is made of armorweave with Scatterweave threads, while the armor itself is dipped in liquid Scatterweave.

I am well aware. You still need to submit the armor if you keep the scatterweave, or PM @Clayton whether it can be included as a function.

Edit: Additionally your armorweave parts cannot increase the resistance of the armor beyond three blaster hits in that area.

We should add that to the scatterweave tech write up that each suit needs it's own write up. Because otherwise it's just confusing.

That's a good point. I think scatterweave is an interesting enough material to warrant a writeup. It'd be helpful to have clearly defined capabilities as it relates to swrp.

The MandalArms TRA armor does not come equipped with a Z4 Jetpack or repulsorboots, and cannot be equipped with them. The functions given in the write up are the functions it has.

If you check the Dominion Tech Page you will find the CCT MKII armor, which does come equipped with a jetpack. New tech rules however prevent you from layering functions on to armor, jetpacks being a function. The TRA was designed as a recon armor, and doesn't need a jetpack to fulfill its role.

I saw that right after I posted my last comment haha. Armor and gear should be fully compliant to new rules now.
