Personal Lore

Vorp'Hurok Bunker used to belong to the mandalorian faction known as the Revenants during the Hundred Years of Darkness. Its name means "Green stone" in mando'a. It was one of multiple safe locations across the galaxy that remained hidden from the republic, jedi and exiles alike. However with many others in dissarray or unintentionally destroyed this bunker is one of the last remaining safe havens for men like Tecov.

The edge of the property resides on Vatol an hour's ride by land speeder from Kala'zal. It looks more like a tropical ranch more than anything with a few small sheds dotting the five hundred acre property. The property owned is not all rolling forest, but the ridges that form the canyons on all sides save for the southern point.

Wild beasts roam the property making it still wild terrain. Little to no effort has been made to build much architecture or structure. Fences and posts lead any visitors to a lone cabin sitting in the back of the canyon. Small rivers run down from the mountains and into a lake before passing beyond the property's boundaries.

The only important structure is beneath the cabin itself. A bunker that holds numerous sophisticated facilities and equipment. An armory capable of outfitting a small militia. A labratory for study, higene and kitchens as well as quarters for dozens of people. All of these were used by the Revenants before they were wiped out and now Tecov uses it as a safe haven for his own operations.

A tunnel leads to a hangar built into the cliff face. The mountains and depths of the bunker prevent it from being picked up by scans. Furthermore anything short of a nuclear strike will be required to destroy the bunker and its contents. Perimeter security exists, but it links to the surface cabin. Internal security resides in the bunker itself. Supplies are stocked with associated sections of the bunker.

From the sky it is easily overlooked as just another mound of dirt covered in plants. It draws power from the solar panels on the roof as well as its own small independent generator. Inside are two bedrooms, a common area, small kitchen, bathroom and security room. A The security room monitors the perimeter cameras on the property as well as holds a small number of weapons for fighting of predators and possible intruders. Sensors, scanners, and long range communication equipment allow them to contact other outposts if necessary though by default they are kept dormant to prevent detection of outside forces. Otherwise the rest of the building seems like the typical hunting cabin.

A part from the cabin there is a small unofficial open landing zone available for ships to park. A garage, similar to the cabin was constructed to house vehicles with over head protection both from the elements and anybody looking from an Arial view. It can hold two average sized land speeders or four bikes. In addition there is a small stable for steeds to reside.

While not on the same level as dedicated facilities the laboratory doubles as an infirmary for wounded personnel. It houses all the basic medical needs that you would expect in a government black site or safe house. It is best if attended by a medical professional or droid. The facilities allow for study of chemical compounds, diseases and other subjects of interest though to a limited degree. After all the bunker was built over a hundred years ago.

A small security center resides inside the bunker. If the owners wanted to utilize droids as security this is where they would do it from. Readouts on systems alert any security personnel of warnings and signs of intrusion or malfunctions. Air contents, temperatures as well as cameras in common areas let the security room know of any threats.

While little more than several horticulture capsules taken from space stations with some plants, the garden compartments assists with the air purification of the bunker. They provide some fresh foods, medicinal herbs as well as a pleasant change from the otherwise unchanging internal structure of the bunker.

While the rest of the bunker is separated into their own compartments and areas of operation the living quarters contains most of the space that people might find themselves in their day to day existence. Dining, kitchen, hygiene, recreation and rest are contained in the living quarters section of the bunker.

Taking up almost an entire floor of the bunker is the Armory. It is not one large open room though. A portion of it is for weapons, another for repairing and maintain equipment. Additionally it hosts and open area with mats for sparring and exercise. Droid maintenance and repairs are conducted on this level as well.

At the very bottom is the generator, filtration and other utilitarian systems. The generator, capable of creating enough power for the whole bunker is not used outside of the bunker to prevent scanners from detecting its power signature. The water filtration works independent from outside sources and has a stale taste to it but is safe to consume and bath with. Air scrubbers assists with the oxygen inside the bunker in the event that it is completely sealed up.

Several kilometers away is the hangar. It has its own independent generator buried into the mountain side to prevent it from being detected by scans. The hangar itself was semi-carved out of the cliff face to make it look like part of the mountain. This limits its holding capacity to only a handful of small craft (no capital sized craft) or freighters. The only way to reach it is by crossing the property on the surface.

Intent: an acquisition I intend to (re)acquire for my character Tecov to be his small fortress that he will end up using as posssibly a home base for future mercenary operations.

The plot is in fact waiting on this to be approved before the plot itself get’s approved. So I don’t know which is supposed to come first. Is this the chicken or is this the egg?

That's fine! I'll approve it for now, for the sake of the plot. Let me know, though, if the plot goes unfinished or fails so I can archive this.
