Yinchorr
Ava stepped through the crowd of burly reptilians in the city centre. A rally was being held to counter the growing tensions amongst the Yinchorri. A number of members from the council of elders were to speak in support of de-escalating tensions and maintaining peace.
The source of the tensions was a militant group calling itself the Popular Yinchorri Front. The organisation’s aim was simple: a return to the old ways of the warrior caste, which was summed up by the phrase “might makes right”. If they wanted something, it was to be seized by force and those who opposed them were to be crushed.
Given that Yinchorr was under the influence of the Jedi Order, and a number of members of the council of elders were to speak at the rally, it was deemed necessary for Jedi to be sent to monitor it.
Ava found a place were she had a good view of the stage. She was wearing her usual outfit, her lightsaber at her waist.
She had asked Syr Bors, the Jedi Padawan who she had worked with on Kashyyyk, to accompany her. She thought they made a good team.
“Let’s hope this goes off without a hitch.”
