His grey eyes looked over Asheek as she frowned thoughtfully over the question the knight had asked her about what she'd do for a relationship. Kai could see her think it over, and through the Force he noticed that she seemed to be a little uncertain as to what she would do for a relationship, almost like she hadn't thought about it yet, and the realization that she could do or choose whoever she wanted had just dawned upon her. Smiling to himself, the young Jedi listened to the Togruta as she slowly tried to explain what she might do now, working it out as she spoke. When she finished how she thought she could just do the dance, Kai chuckled a little as he looked at the attractive alien and said, "Asheek, I bet if you came up to a man you were interested in and did your dance I don't think there would be any question in his mind what he wanted. So it would be recognizable to at least him, you would probably just be confused by his courtship towards you."
After a while Asheek asked to head back in and Kai obliged her; he could hear and sense how could she was. "Of course, Asheek. Of course. You've done well." While she had learned the basics of Tapas she would need more practice in order to get it right. That was what the rest of the week they had together on the planer would be for. Making their way back into the beach Kai could see first hand exactly how cold she was. As he placed the blanket on her shoulders he heard her thanks and smiled, sitting down next to her as he explained the plan for the next day. "It's fine, girl. You're a friend, and you needed it. That's what friends are for after all!" He remarked as he placed an arm around her shoulder and gave it a friendly rub. Seeing that she was tired he smiled and motioned to the ground, "Get some sleep, we'll have another long day tomorrow. I'll put another log or two on the fire, go ahead and rest. We have nothing to worry about here."
Standing up Kai stoked and fueled the fire so Asheek would be warm as she slept. Once she was out, Kai would grab a small blanket, roll it up, and very carefully place it under her head so she wouldn't awaken. Adding another blanket to her, Kai made sure she would be warm; the nights were surprisingly cool this time of year and after the swim in the frigid ocean water he wanted to make sure his friend wouldn't be cold and at least be comfortable. Once he was sure Asheek was taken care of Kai grabbed a bed roll and snuggled up on the other side of the fire, it didn't take long before he was drifting off to a dreamless sleep for the night.
Kai awoke early the next day before dawn just before the sun had come up over the horizon. The sky was that light purple color of early morning twilight between night and dawn. He hadn't gotten much sleep, but that was fairly common nowadays as he spent more time meditating throughout the day. Taking a deep breath once he had fully awaken, standing up, he looked around. Asheek was still sleeping nearby, and he decided to let her rest a bit longer; training today would he long and just as hard as the precious day. Kai stoked the fire before walking off into the woods. Following the Force, Kai went out and found some breakfast for the two to eat, something from the island, not from the ship. It didn't take long before he found a nest of cormorant-like birds near the beach which Kai recognized as a delicacy to the locals. Bringing them a quick death with the Force, Kai made sure to be thankful for the kill before bringing them back to the camp where he cleaned and prepped them before beginning to cook over the fire. When Asheek awoke she would do so to the smell of cooking food over a fire.
